What a place! The owners were amazingly friendly. Martin made a group of city dwellers feel incredibly welcome in this amazing rural setting. Not a bad word can be said about the actual accomodation. It was spotless, spacious and everything worked perfectly. No expense had been spared in building this place either. Bathrooms for every room, surround sound speakers in the kitchen ceiling, huge double fridge. The location was unmatched too. It's just on the edge of a very well kept farm, with nice walks nearby and pubs etc a short drive (or long walk) awaty. Sun sets over the hill in the distance. The cows come back in the evening which was fantastic to watch. All of this can be seen from the comfortable patio area near the BBQ. If you're considering this as an option, just go! You won't regret it.

My husband and I came here on a family getaway with my elderly parents. Extra instructions on how to find the property made it easy to get to. The property is in a quiet area and reasonably secluded with stunning views over the hills where deer and rabbits run wild. Although described as a flat it is more like a house type home ( there was someone in the upstairs flat but we hardly heard them and they were very quiet ). Every morning we were lucky enough to sit outside in the garden with the sun shining to drink our tea & coffee. The kitchen is fully equipped and we had a lovely BBQ too on our last evening. The flat is beautifully decorated with lots quirky touches, comfortable beds and comfy sofa to chill out on. The hot tub was ready when we arrived and was much appreciated every night after long days out touring the Cotswolds. ( We can also recommend The plough at Fork for friendly service and great food ) ! We had a fab time and we were sorry to leave .

Ideally located close to the centre of Painswick, with pubs, shops and restaurants nearby. Great value comfortable accommodation.

Superb house of great character with extensive garden, an excellent location for the celebration of a special family birthday involving three generations. All concerned loved it.
