We stayed with our two young children in the commander's house for a few days. A really very nice and special house, which has been renovated very authentically, lets you feel history everywhere and is very comfortable. The spacious apartment has a particularly pleasant indoor climate due to the clay plaster. It has many historical and tastefully refurbished details such as old door hardware, chandeliers, old doors, carpets, and furniture. In the backyard, there is a large covered area for larger groups where we sat comfortably in the evening. The city of Werben is really very sweet and consists almost entirely of historic buildings. In a few minutes walk you are on the Elbe dyke. Max is very friendly, uncomplicated and very easily accessible. Absolutely recommended and we will be back for sure.

We visited Constanze for two nights to see the Perseids and just get some distance and tranquility from the big city jungle. We were not disappointed. The place has lots of charming details that want to be discovered. Everything we needed/would have been in situ. Constanze is a very lovely hostess who takes great care of her guests and is happy when you feel comfortable. The entire yard is great, the garden design prepared with attention to the details. We immediately made friends with the cat Leon, who relaxed the whole stay with us again and again. The dyke in front of the door invites you to walk/cycle and on the terrace with sky lounger you can end the day relaxed. It was also great that we could use the bikes available on site to explore the area. We hope to come back to this beautiful place again.

Simply perfect! The Golden Morning accommodation in the quiet of nature was great – super quiet and a real home feeling. Volker is a remarkable host, always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest and will definitely be back!
