Hancock, Frenchman's Bay Cottage

Frenchmans Bay is just outside your window. With spectacular 180 degree views of Frenchman's Bay and Mt. Desert Island, it is the perfect spot to enjoy the best of Maine. Located in the famous community of Hancock Point, it offers easy access to Acadia National Park and other attractions, in a peaceful, quiet and beautiful setting. Go hiking, biking, sailing, kayaking or just sit and watch the ever-changing view from the picture windows. This cottage has an open living/dining/kitchen area. Two large sliding glass doors look out onto the water. The kitchen has a full-sized refrigerator, stove with microwave oven, kuerig, double sink, and ample counter space. There are plenty of pots and pans, kitchen gadgets, glassware, silverware, cutlery and dinnerware, gas grill.The master bedroom has a comfortable king sized bed, ample closet space and a full bathroom with walk-in shower. The second bedroom has 2 twin beds, (day bed with trundle), that are suitable for children or adults. Linens are supplied. NO smoking please. There is a TV with a blu-ray player, no cable and no wifi. If needed, there is a window AC unit. We recently added an outdoor shower with hot water. Because of the rock wall, (10' drop) this cottage may not be suitable for toddlers and younger children. When you arrive at the Flower Farm Loft you're greeted by our dogs, who will likely jump on you with muddy paws and request fetch and pets. You're immediately surrounded by flowers in our gardens and flower studio. The loft has big east facing windows that look over our farm and surrounding fields. You'll open the curtains in the morning to incredible sunrises over Kilkenny Cove, and end your nights at your private fire pit with immaculate star filled skies that will make it hard to go inside.

Early Riser barn-loft on Organic farm near Acadia

A unique offering for those who want a true farm experience! A clean, rustic above-barn space. Farm animals live below-Winston the roo may crow (early!) Chadde our pet pig may grunt, chickens will cluck! There is a 2 burner stove, cold water sink seasonally(jugs provided in winter) a dorm fridge, and basic kitchen ware. Tea and coffee provided, veg & eggs for sale The shower is at the main house, and a bucket-style compost toilet is in the apartment. There’s a full bed and a fold out couch.

Oceanfront cottage. 30 minute drive to Bar Harbor! 2 acres, Stunning waterfront and sunset views. Westerly views across Young's Bay. 15 minutes from Schootic Point. What makes this place unique is the privacy you experience as forest meets ocean. Excellent condition, wide pine floors, granite counter tops, quality appliances. The woods have been carefully groomed to open views of the cove framed with beautiful granite ledges. A short distance to Hancock Point and the amenities it has to offer.

On the edge of our family homestead overlooking meadow & forest, this tiny house offers a quiet, cozy refuge only 40 minutes from Acadia National Park. There's a twin daybed on the ground floor & a double futon in the loft. Full kitchen & tiny bathroom with shower too. A heat pump keeps the place toasty warm or nice and cool. The tiny house and meadow are very private on the edge of the property, and just for you. Our family's gazebo, fire pit, hammock, trail & garden are shared with guests.

Ideal for the adventurous outdoors type only! Small minimalist A-frame cabin in the woods, overlooking Taunton Bay. A short but steep 1 minute hike to the cabin makes it feel even more secluded. Tandem kayak on the bay 2 minute walk away. Queen sleeping loft accessible only by ladder, 3/4 bath, efficient kitchen, 42" TV/DVD player, games. Lillebo is set near the end of a dead end road with a five minute walk yielding views over Frenchman's bay with Sorrento in the near view and Winter Harbor and Bar Harbor in the long view. This homey house is set about 200 feet from the road with no neighbors in direct view. There’s a screen porch on one end of the house and a garage on the other. In the garage there is a ping pong table, corn hole, darts and bikes. There are three adult bikes, one youth bike and one kids bike.

Waterfront Home on Tidal Falls

This brand new home on the waterfront in Hancock has a wooded view of the Tidal Falls. Sit on the wrap around deck and watch and listen to the tide rise and fall. Bald eagles, deer and seals are frequent visitors to the shoreline below the house. The owners are a retired couple who like to be comfortable so there are many features added with this in mind! We have asked not to have young children as guests because the deck drops off and could be dangerous for them.
