We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful, spotless, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend retreat. It was the perfect getaway—peaceful, comfortable, and just as described. Highly recommend!

While the access road is not for the faint of heart and more closets/clothing storage is needed, the cabin was very clean, well-stocked and organized. There were plenty of movies to choose from and a big firepit to enjoy. The property manager, Mike, was very responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. All in all, the cabin is a lovely place to spend a few days relaxing and enjoying the incredible view.

The best review we can give is that this was our third time returning to this amazing house for a winter escape. The house is stunning and abounds with character. Relaxing by the fire, cooking in the well-equipped and cozy kitchen, dining by candlelight. It’s a gorgeous old home that has been beautifully maintained and has all the creature comforts you’ll desire. The area is beautiful in any season, with several quaint towns close by with local shopping and ample dining options. Scott is also a responsive and generous host, though I doubt you’ll need anything at all! Go enjoy this beautiful home!

This was a absolute gem of an Airbnb. The location was everything my wife and I imagine for our kids to grow up in one day. The plot of land the home sat on was one from a fairytale. Melody was a great host. We will 100% be back to this location.

Great house. When you pull up you have no idea the surprise waiting for you in the back. The house was about 15 minutes from All Star Village- it was the perfect place to come back to after a long day of baseball. Each floor of the house has a deck off the back - and the view is spectacular. We kayaked, bbq'ed and swam in the lake. We can't wait to go back.

Great stay, a very cozy place!

Ryan’s place was beautiful and peaceful. It was perfect for children as the yard is fenced in and non hazardous for young children. Hot tub was perfect house was spotless with all the necessities you would need for day to day. It was a perfect peaceful weekend away with my friends and children. Ryan was the perfect host who communicated clearly and very responsive. Will visit again

We booked for a two night stay at this beautiful property, and loved every minute! We chose the hottest days of June and the pond, waterfalls, and stellar AC in the camper saved us! We enjoyed the trails, the campfire, seeing the beautiful fish in the pond, and dozens of fireflies each night. Thank you Matt!

My husband, friends, and I are truly enamored with Jacob's place. The house is beautiful, and the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and inviting. We always have a wonderful time there. This was our third visit, and we can easily envision many more to come in the future.

Casey's place was wonderful and she was a helpful host, helping me out of a small snafu I created. The location was amazing, views great, and space very welcoming. While the high temps kept us from exploring as much as we had planned, we got a few walks in around the property and it is a beautiful place to hike, so private and peaceful. Relaxing on the porch reading a book was perfect. And watching a storm roll in and create waves in the fields of tall grass was zen-like. We will be back!

This was my first experience using an Airbnb, and our host was phenomenal. We needed something last minute, and Hilal was very responsive to all my questions and went out of his way to help us when we had an unexpected change in our travel plans. Check in was super easy, and the location was perfect - beautiful neighborhood and great for walks. We had our husky with us and she loved her walks around the neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again!

We were only in town for one night, but had an absolutely phenomenal stay. The basement apartment was clean and comfortable, and you could tell that Rebecca has a true passion for hospitality. From board games to a small library of books, the space was so well stocked. We enjoyed lounging in the room, almost as much as getting out and exploring Syracuse! Check-in was smooth and the house rules were straightforward and logical. Thanks for the 5 star stay. Bookmarked for future trips :)

Cheri’s place is spacious, clean, and comfortable. I got in later than expected and was greeted by homemade pumpkin bread! If you stay, be sure to check out the bakery across the street.

We had a wonderful long weekend at the chalet. We did not get a chance to enjoy all of the amenities because we were out at several local events. We would definitely come back again when the weather was nicer to go hiking and enjoy the pond and outdoor fire pit more. The hosts were very helpful and kind. They even had games and toys for small children to feel welcome.

Allen’s place is perfect for either a big family gathering or multiple families sharing a large space. Having a separate bathroom for each bedroom with 2 upstairs sharing a wing was perfect for our group. It’s a beautiful setting with tons of wildlife around!! Having this as our home base made for an incredible Cooperstown experience…I only wish we had more time to enjoy the home away from the ball fields! Both Allen and Amy were great always quick to respond. I would highly recommend!!!

Dave's property was the perfect choice for our overnight trip to Cooperstown with another couple. Located on a quiet country road, it's only a couple of miles to the Hall of Fame in one direction and Ommegang Brewery in the other. The house was spotless and very comfortable, and has been totally updated with everything one needs. Highly recommend!

Had a great time at the cozy cabin. It's a cabin but still has some nice amenities. Location is somewhat close to road, you can hear occasional cars go by. Still, back by the pond it feels like being away from it all. I had a blast hiking local trails and enjoying the foliage.

Mike was a wonderful host. He greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the place. He was very kind and thoughtful. The place was just as described and met our needs perfectly. Definitely recommend

Jeri was a fantastic host to my girlfriend and I! She was very friendly and responsive, and her loft was very cozy, clean, and spacious! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway to Delaware County!

Rob's home is directly across the street from Cooperstown Dreams Park and was the perfect spot for us to watch our 12 year old play. I could easily run my parents home between games to cool off in the A/C. The pool was a welcome spot for several of the boys on the team and the coaches. Rob was very kind, and welcoming. A perfect stay for any family playing at Dreams Park!

We booked the house for its distance to Cooperstown. And it was just as far as he advertised and well worth the few extra moments to the Dream Park. He accommodated us with a very early check in of 3am the day of. And I only texted at 2am with the request. I was shocked that he even responded, let alone met us at the house to let us in and give us a “midnight” tour. It was extremely accommodating and welcoming. He did charge a small fee, as expected of course. Then I got to tour this beautiful, historic, huge, full of love home. The amount of different rooms each filled with a colorful chapter in a fabulous novel you don’t want to put down. I was blown away. Everything he describes was accurate. The a/c upstairs only. But honestly, Tom told is to leave the windows downstairs open at night and it provides such a beautiful breeze and keeps the house warm during the day. I wish to come back next year and just not leave the house other than to hike and go in the pool. Wildlife amazing too

Joan and Leo are great hosts. The home and property are beautiful. Home is very spacious and unique. We had such a good time sitting out by the pool, walking the local trails, and just being able to spend quality time together as a family. All the books were fun to look at and read some. All the art work in the home inspired us to leave some of our own art for Joan and Leo.

Thank you, Brenda for sharing your wonderful home which made our trip even more special. With both our kids meeting up with us, the kitchen worked like a charm as they were very excited for a home cooked meal. Also, the description on the website matched very well, and it was clear how much the nightly rate would be beyond the two of us. We would certainly stay again.

Our extended family of 8 stayed here for Colgate's 2025 graduation weekend. The location was definitely further away than I wanted (not the host's fault of course) but it ended up working out great. Door to door it's a 35 minute drive, so while we weren't able to go 'back and forth' as much as if we were staying closer, it was a great place to wake up in and return 'home' to at the end of the day's events. There was plenty of room for two sets of grandparents, two siblings and the grad's parents. We loved making coffee and breakfast in the morning and enjoying the absolutely glorious view from the house, plus the kitchen table was a fun end of day gathering spot for us all. Shawn was communicative and accommodating, especially when one pair of guests were way ahead of arrival time, allowing them to enter the property early. I had not been aware of DeRuyter or the lake prior to this, but am glad we had the opportunity to enjoy this home and the area!
