Accommodation right by turtle beach, the host informed us by message when the first turtle called in at night, very friendly, breakfast was delicious ! Quiet location ! Beautiful beach within walking distance ! Absolute special feature: you can see both the sunrise and the sunset! Wonderful big long. Beach , not many people, still the possibility to rent loungers and have shade! Great!

Ramesh’s place was by far our favorite stay during our three-week trip! Though Ramesh was busy with work, his sister, Thilini, took wonderful care of us. She prepared the most amazing meals, which we enjoyed with a stunning jungle backdrop filled with tropical plants, turtles, fish, and birds. The atmosphere was peaceful and truly unique, making it a perfect escape into nature. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, making us feel at home. We only wish we could have stayed longer! What a find! Sisiras pkVe is a walk down the driveway and onto the south end entrance to Kudawella beach. Awesome balcony...breezes and a Seaview.. absolutely will be listening to the waves as you sleep at night. Sisira and his wife are wonderful hearts, have an amazing young family in the downstairs part if the house, and Harshanis authentic so tasty, plentiful Sri Lankan cuisine is made and delivered to your rooms with love. A quiet location atop one of the best sand bottom beaches in South Lanka. Good for learn to surf swimming and long peaceful walks Sisi Place is 5 mins scooter to Hiri or Dikwella, 20 mins to Unakuruwa and Talalla. With the 2 bedrooms upstairs sparking clean bathroom and massive balcony, this place would suit long stay to also enjoy Harshanis meals, or small groups and families. I can't say enough about Sri Lankan hospitality and you'll find it exceptional here. Sisi Place is a well underpriced gem. Highly recommended 👌

This is a nice cozy cabin tucked away behind the road two minutes walk to sandy beach with sun-beds and a private beach. It is perfect for one to two nights, as there are no cooking facilities there. You have to eat from their menu or go out. I stayed five nights so I asked for a mini fridge which they provided for me. Krishan also offered fresh picked coconuts from their trees; it was very refreshing - thank you! Their menu prices are the same as cafes and restaurants along the beach with water-front views and ambiance, and they also charged an extra 10% "Service Charge" to my total which was surprising. Overall i was a fantastic location with miles on private beach. I had a great time there.

Very pleasant accommodation in a quiet environment just a short distance from the beautiful beach in connection with a very nice hostess who will give you tips for trips around the area and arrange everything you need.

First of all, the accommodation itself is really great and worth a booking, but more on that. Check-in or finding and arriving is extremely difficult, as the location on the map in the app is incorrect and only the answer to inquiries about the precise address is that the name of the house on Google Maps is easy to enter and that this would be enough. On Google Maps, however, there are 2 different ones and then of course they match the map in the app... The location is incorrect!! The door locks also need an overhaul. However, the accommodation itself is in a bomb location, 100m to the beach. Everything is clean, the kitchen convinces with its amenities. You get a complete small apartment for the price with bathroom, sleeping area, kitchen and chill area inside and out. The other 2 rooms in the apartment are locked so we were 4 accommodated in a room. Overall a nice place to relax at the beach.

A great place to base yourself in Tangalle, we would have stayed longer if we weren’t due to leave Sri Lanka soon! The beds are super comfy, the sofa and living room are spacious and it really felt like a home from home. Close to restaurants and Tangalle beach and super easy to get to attractions like the Turtle Conservation, Bird Sanctuary etc. We would stay again without a doubt!

Great place to stay. Very close to silent beach, only a few minutes by foot. One of the most beautiful beaches we have seen here. Closeby to a local store and tuk tuks for easy transport. His family also supported with a taxi service, very friendly and reliable. Would highly recommended staying here.

a very stylish and spacious house with tropical garden, 10 min from two stunning beeches. after traveling a bit the clothes washing facilities was very useful. and the host and her children were charming and very helpful. they live in the house nextdoor, but you have 100% privacy. 5 star.

Very easy check in and nice accomodation

This is an extremely cozy house! It is located a little bit deep from the main roads, so it is silence and calm here. I enjoyed here with birds, palms, nature sounds. I was surprised with small quantity of mosquitos here, but for your safety hosts provide you with mosquito net. Oh, God, how it's wonderful to sleep with open doors and windows here - it's smell, sounds..perfect! And to be honest I even didn't use a fan during night's, because the temperature was absolutely comfortable. The villa has rather good WiFi and if you are a remote worker it will suite to you (the day temperature is also good when you open windows and use fan, there is no necessity in AC). Hosts are absolutely cute and caring about you! But villa is located rather far from any shops and beaches (apr. 10 min by bike) - so bike or tuktuk are absolutely necessary here, and there is not a problem to reach this location. Having traveled the entire coast from Galle, I do not want to change this place of living.

Our room at Chandi's was amazing. We loved our stay at her place. Chandi is so kind. You'll feel right at home thanks to its discreet presence but always available if needed. Chandi cooks delicious breakfasts that I warmly recommend. Plus, the home overlooks a beautiful garden. If we return to the area, we will return to Chandi's place.
