We cannot describe how amazing our stay was. This is the best place in whole Sri Lanka. We stayed here with our 1.5y old toddler and we all loved the villa. Swimming pool is suitable for a kid and rooms are very nice and clean. Location also is great. Away from the city noise but close enough to the beach. Amazing host Kanishka drove us everywhere with his tuk tuk. We booked this place for 4 nights but we loved it here so much that we cancelled our flight and stayed 10 more days. And the best part of it is the familly who owns the villa. So kind and frendly people. They will do anything for you to make your stay unforgettable. Kanishkas mother can cook you the most amazing food. His sister and mother also babysit our toddler which was amazing. We felt like a part of their family. The kindest people we have met. There are monkeys coming by every morning and evening. Perfect additioin to superb villa. If you are visiting Sri Lanka we highly recommend this place. You will be in love.

We had an unbelievable beautiful & lovely stay in this House! It was very clean and cosy. So special that the living room and kitchen area ist open! ✨ Lahiru, our host, has been so kind and friendly so he made us feel like home and extremely welcoming! He made the best breakfast every day again! 😍 He gave us the best advices & recommendations! Also he cared so much about us that he always did his best du make us happy. Successfully!! The House has a very charming vibe and is the perfect place to rest & recover. In our whole trip this was the most amazing place! Highly recommended!! Definitely should be a 5 Star House!!

We stayed here for over a week with our three children (5, 6 and 9 years old) and enjoyed the time very much. The highlight was the fantastically beautiful, almost deserted beach right outside the door. We felt particularly comfortable thanks to Suresh and Ruhini, the warm hosts: Suresh organized everything about excursions and transportation, Ruhini spoiled us every morning with a delicious breakfast. Our kids had a lot of fun bodyboarding while watching the authentic village life and fishermen on the beach. The cottage was clean and charming, although sometimes a bit outdated – but we were in the middle of nature: monkeys in the garden, bats in the evening, fireflies in the dark. For us, it was a perfect blend of adventure, recreation, and authenticity. The value is right, and we'd come back anytime.

If you are looking for old colonial grandeur in Tangalle with the best beaches on your doorstep this is the place for you . Krishni’s place is very grand, spacious with vast rooms high ceilings and nice decor - you will quite easily get lost in all the space. I would highly recommend booking this place as a family or group of friends you are right in the middle of town with all the beaches either a walk or short Tuk Tuk ride away - just beautiful we loved it. Goyambokka beach is bar far the best beach in Tangalle and is a short Tuk Tuk ride away it is absolutely stunning . This is a fabulous place to stay I would highly recommend it.

This place is really something else - if you want to do a safari in udawalawa you should definitely stay here! The family hosting you is as sweet as it can get. They are so helpful and you will have an awesome stay. For dinner they will make you a traditional srilankan meal you will never forget and before you leave for the safari you can enjoy some coffee or tea in the very early morning. Just to come back to an delicious srilankan breakfast. And everything for a good price. We really enjoyed our stay and would deeply recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming little villa in Tangalle. The villa itself was beautifully designed — clean, cozy, and tastefully decorated, with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. It felt like a peaceful oasis, perfect for unwinding. The beach was just a few minutes’ walk away, quiet and perfect for morning walks or evening strolls. Our host, Dulash, went above and beyond — he helped us plan our days, showed us around the local area, and made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of southern Sri Lanka in a warm, home-like setting!

Good place for a holiday

We had a fantastic stay for three nights at this lovely accommodation in Udawalawe. The room on the first floor was comfortable and exactly as described. During our visit, we enjoyed two exciting safaris, which were undoubtedly the highlight of our trip. We were thrilled to see superb wild elephants roaming freely, their majestic presence leaving us in awe. The diversity of wildlife was incredible; we spotted a variety of birds, from vibrant kingfishers to graceful egrets, adding color to our safari experience. We even had the chance to observe crocodiles basking by the water’s edge, completing our adventure with a touch of excitement. The delicious breakfast was provided on request, making our mornings even better. Friendly staff provided us everything we requested. Overall, this place offers great value for money with reasonable prices. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable stay and a superb safari experience. You won’t be disappointed!

brand new flat, we had a really good time here. opposite the street you get freh brewed Cappuccino. super clean and spacious flat. we were a family of four, it was perfect.

A wonderful place, a friendly hostess with her little restaurant. Gave us some of her wonderful spices home. The host helped us arrange a transfer to the airport. Everything is great.

This place is so lovely with calm atmosphere off the town and beach hustle but both you can reach by TucTuc or car within 10-15 min (there is also bus stop nearby). We loved the place as we had it all for ourselves with lots of privacy and good rest with nice garden and the house gives you lots of space for the whole family with great kitchen, dinning room living room, terrace... good solution if you need to rest on your own place in your own pace. Just remember to make the shopping before you get home there's no bigger shop or restaurant in walking distance.
