Just a perfect place. Cute houses with open bathroom, very nice people working there. Beautiful beach almost empty. Animals and nature at your hand. Would go there next time.

The house is located in a quiet area not far from the nearby beach. It is very large with several bedrooms. Outside there is a large garden where you can relax or eat. The host who greeted us was very kind and helped us organize our tours on a lot of issues. He provided some valuable tips that were very useful to us, thank you very much. Although a large home needs some minor fixes. It wasn't clean and the kitchen was not well-maintained (leftover food in the fridge and outside). Overall, the house was very spacious and had everything we needed, although it was a pity that it was slightly neglected.

We really enjoyed our stay at FIVE. It's a really calm and beautiful beach, but vivid Hiriketiya and Tangalle are just 15 minutes Tuktuk ride away, so perfect to enjoy both worlds, bustling and calm. The whole staff was really nice and we enjoyed everything! Fully recommend a stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay a lot. This is an amazing place to relax and spend some calm time directly on the beach. Cabins are super nice with a big bathroom. We especially loved the food - it’s very delicious, in particular the curry. Would recommend everyone to spend some time here, it’s a little paradise with lots of privacy.

the best stay in Sri Lanka. if you want to feel the nature and power of the ocean you have to live here for a few days. the sound of the ocean was fantastic, the house was clean and equipped. the hosts were very nice and helpful, they even did the laundry! definitely 10/10

It’s a really nice and quiet place just a min from the beach. It’s very relaxing and calm to live there we didn’t feel like leaving after five nights. Mahesh also helped us get a scooter and gave us advice on where to go about for eating and sightseeing. Will definitely go again

This is a lovely place to stay! It's in a secluded area so easier with a car or driver, although easy to get to from the main road. It's about a 5 minute walk from a lovely (and deserted) beach which has a couple of restaurants on it. The neighbours Wasana and Dimithu were on hand to show us round and cooked us some delicious food. The house was very clean and the pool was very refreshing!

This is a very nice and big place right in town! Very easy to find as soon as you jump off the bus. The food options seem to be a bit limited in this town so it’s awesome to have the option of having the hosts cook for us. The food they prepared was delicious and very affordable. Such a kind and hospitable family!

If your looking for a traditional srilankan home stay Henry’s place has it all. Good location just outside Tangalle. Henry and his wife were so welcoming and kind, house is bigger than it looks in the photos and has everything you need. We would def recommend it!

Just what I needed for a night on my way to Ella. The room is a bit hot but it has a fan and toilet. Clean and comfortable. The owner is very nice and helpful!

First of all, I have to emphasize that I do not review a stay in the cottage, but in the big house. The cottage was a bit rustic for us, but we were immediately offered a spacious room in the "Big House". The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The location is extremely nice, on a perfect beach which was very quiet in April. The fact that the place is a few miles outside of Tangalle could be better described on Airbnb. However, this did not bother us, as the environment was great for relaxing. There are several restaurants on the beach in the area. The restaurant attached to the property is rather high-priced. I would describe the breakfast offered as above average. Overall, the price of the accommodation was very fair in relation to performance. It can therefore be recommended.
