This was a fabulous spot!! The owner was a truly delightful guy, nothing was too much trouble at all and he was very kind and accommodating. They made me a special dinner for being gluten free which was lovely and he got up very early to make breakfast for us to take on our Safari!! Was a cute place to stay, room was all you needed with lovely private terrace at the back. A nice quiet spot out the way but conveniently located for Udawalawe national park. Would definitely recommend!

Ranga&Alicia's AirBnb is a true oasis in the green. From the terrace we could watch fireflies in the beautiful starry sky in the evening. In the morning, the peacock "Frederico" always greeted us 😊 Ranga is such a likeable and lovely host. He even drove us to the Tangelle bus station on the last day with his tukTuk. The beach is only 5 min on foot. From here we explored the fantastic area: hikes on the km-long beach/ colorful, versatile animals/bus rides by public bus, e.g. to Hirikitiya or to Rekawa Beach...the nature around Tangelle is breathtakingly beautiful! Best AirBnb we had on our 4 week trip in Sri Lanka: cozy mattress/ large room/great terrace/drinking water/ good water pressure and a paradise wellness bathroom... We felt very comfortable and safe and would come back anytime We wish Ranga&Alicia all the best! Thank you for everything!

We stayed for just one night, but next time, we would definitely stay longer. Our host was incredibly kind and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. They even took us on a tour to the beach to watch the turtles lay their eggs, which was an amazing experience. The breakfast they prepared for us was delicious. We were taken care of very well. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
