Our homestead, Misty Isle Acres, is our little imperfect oasis, nestled within the beautiful Helderberg hilltowns of Albany county. Our in-law apartment contains a bedroom, full bathroom, and living room with TV (inc. Netflix & Disney+), DVD player, and futon. There is an enclosed porch and deck, complete with tables, chairs, and grill. We also have a large pond and woods to explore. Please note, this is a working homestead; the grass isn't always mowed and sometimes there are animal smells.

If these walls could talk, they'd tell a story of the history of Glenville, NY! Starting as a Broom Corn Farm and then a Speakeasy during Prohibition, the original bar is located in the basement! This is an off grid yurt with a woodstove for heat and an off grid kitchen - no running water or electricity - water can be heated on the woodstove. You'll have a comfy bed and futon. We love it when it rains. Staying inside, listening to the rain on the yurt and playing games is a highlight of our trips there. Cooking outside and enjoying a campfire & toasting marshmallows is also fun!
