Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Haarlem

We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

Max was super responsive to our texts from day one. Great host!!!! Our stay was great with the kitchen having everything we needed for breakfast and late night snacks and more ... the cute balcony rooftop off the kitchen a bonus. Ambiance is amazing from the second we walked in! Beds were comfortable also and 25 min walking distance to train station. Would return again! Thankyou

Jan and Inga's place was a great place to stay. it was clean and comfortable. The shower was great! It was also within easy walking distance to the center of town. Jan recommended the Restaurant de Hoofdtoren to us for dinner and it was fantastic. We went every night! Hoorn is such a cute town to stay in also. I would recommend this Airbnb.

The apartment is great, but the absolute highlight is the terrace on 3 sides of the house, right on the water. The large glass fronts in the living room provide a view of the water, which makes the apartment special even in cool temperatures. The only downside is that you'd rather not go on an excursion, but just stay in the apartment.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay in this lovely apartment. Nestled in a quiet, picturesque alley in the heart of Haarlem, it’s conveniently located near excellent restaurants, supermarkets, and key attractions. I especially loved the vintage jukebox and arcade machine in the room! The skylight in the ceiling was a fantastic touch, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that even the curtains and lights could be controlled via an iPad. Our hosts, Marieke and Rico, were incredibly friendly and helpful—truly a rarity in the Airbnb world nowadays. Overall, this is possibly the best Airbnb in Haarlem. I highly recommend it!

We booked the house because it appealed to us from the reviews. Our expectations were far exceeded. We arrived at a house where we immediately felt at home. In the kitchen there is everything you need for daily use. Everything is very clean and tastefully decorated. Communication with Saskia was possible without any problems. We rented the house with a friendly couple and went home after a week very well recovered. We can recommend the house without hesitation. We would like to come back next autumn. The most perfect little house in Maarssen! Located about 20 minutes via bus/train from Utrecht and 30 minutes from Amsterdam, this gorgeous abode was a piece of heaven after a day of exploring! Upon arrival I was greeted by a few friendly chickens wandering the property and Ewoud, who made me feel right at home with not only great recommendations for Maarssen but helpful incite for bus information/apps and bike rentals. The house itself is so picture perfect cute! Comfy beds, relaxing bathtub, washer/dryer and a lovely outdoor space fitted with patio furniture. Keep in mind the stairs inside are rather steep and spiraling - but I found that it only added to its charm and felt like the bougie treehouse of my childhood dreams (lol). Got a chance to chat with Catelijne and Ewoud a bit on the eve of my departure and they are such wonderful hosts - would 100% recommend and would love to return!

Laurent is a fantastic host: helpful, always ready to give great advice about his neighborhood and beyond, and super quick to respond to messages. We asked if we could leave our luggage after check-out so we wouldn’t have to carry it around all day, and he was happy to help. On the first day, he even welcomed us with some snacks and wine, and there’s also coffee and tea available. The house is a typical Dutch home, so the stairs to reach the apartment on the third floor are narrow and steep — a great way to stay in shape! The apartment itself is clean, well-maintained, and tastefully decorated. The little terrace is really lovely . the neighborhood is a great place to stay: full of shops, bars, and restaurants. It’s well connected by public transport (line 4 takes you to the city center and line 3 to the museum district), but you can also reach the center with a 25-minute walk. This was my best experience with Airbnb. I absolutely recommend it.

It's one of the best Airbnb's I have stayed in. Mirjam was very sweet and you could tell that it's her passion to make her guests feel welcomed. She went above and beyond our expectations and we would definitely stay here again. Also I cannot not mention the excellent breakfast. It was very filling and thought out. I can't see how you can rate this place anything other that 10/10.

The place is beautiful! We would return whenever possible, plenty of space and Chris is the best host!

Kim is very responsive to any communications. Well equips home. Left some items by way of coffee etc to help when you first arrive.

We slept three nights at the Bubblehouse. The hosting was super warm. Yvonne was available and very kind throughout our stay. The house and location is just beautiful. The beautiful tranquility of the countryside surrounded by tulip fields. My partner and I recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay at Bert and Marieke's spacious apartment. We were welcomed by Bert who helped us with our luggage up the stairs and showed us into their well appointed 2 bedroom apartment. Great stay in this beautiful apartment. Annette is very welcoming and flexible and communication was very fast. Everything is within walking distance. The place is very calm and peaceful. It was a very enjoyable time of rest and visit and I highly recommend it.

Mariska & Boaz were super cooperative, polite and ready to help even at odd hours. The town is beautiful and relaxed with good connectivity to Amsterdam Central. Though we missed the tulips just by a week still overall worth it. Highly recommend anyone who wants to stay at walking distance from the tulip fields

Yafit and Jerry’s apartment was everything we wanted and more! Such a beautiful spot and well equipped. Me and my friend stayed for 3 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed chilling on the outdoor seating area after a long day of sight seeing in Amsterdam. On our first day we explored Zaandam on foot and on the bikes provided at the apartment. We visited nearby Zaanse Schans which was great! The other two days we spent sightseeing in Amsterdam which was easy to reach on the train. We loved our trip and we would happily stay here again!

Our stay at Monica and Pasqual’s was excellent. The home is exactly what is depicted in the photos. Monica and Pasqual’s communication with us was excellent and when we asked about our bicycles they provided us with a solid lock so we could safely leave them in the front yard. The huge bedroom windows overlook an intersection and I loved sitting in bed with the morning sun streaming in, enjoying my early morning coffee while watching the local people go about life. The location was perfect for us to walk from the train/bus station or cycle to family and friends.

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

Outstanding stay at Huis Roomolen! Henri & Mel were terrific, kind, and very responsive hosts ~ they assisted us with bike rentals nearby, loads of dining options, and a fully stocked studio for our brief time in Amsterdam. The studio itself is in a beautiful, quaint, and very safe area of the city, just blocks from many canals. The studio was impeccably clean, the terrace is lovely, as are the fish and greenery; and the bonus breakfast goodies made for such a relaxing morning before touring around. We highly recommend and would absolutely return! Thank you again, Mel & Henri, for a fabulous stay!

The host filled the fridge with an unexpected treat of drinks and wine, which pleasantly surprised us. There was a lot of space in the apartment, it was generally nice. I was a little cold at night, but on hot days it will be great. You could hear the footsteps of the people living above us and how someone was using the water, because the house was built a long time ago. It's definitely a very nice garden. Very kind and helpful Host.
