Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Haarlem

We spent three nights in this very nice and quiet place. The accommodation is very nice and inviting. If you are lucky with the weather, you can see the sunset from the sofa and enjoy the atmosphere of the region with a drink. Better than any TV program :-). Very good starting point to explore Noord-Holland and also in the center of Amsterdam you are unexpectedly fast by bus (18 min from Dörfchen Ilpendam by express bus). Very nice and reserved hosts. We can recommend it without reservation.

We loved our stay at Mabel’s cottage while we visited the Netherlands to celebrate my bachelorette! The house has a good mix of seclusion and convenience: there aren’t many neighbors nearby, which offers a good amount of privacy. It is also conveniently located right across the street from the train station - which is two stops (~15 minutes) to Amsterdam Central Station. If you wish to visit a different city other than Amsterdam on your stay, Haarlem was ~20 minutes and is another very cute and quaint city. The home was decorated beautifully and was maintained very well. Nonetheless, Mabel made us all feel right at home and was quick to respond whenever we had a question. I would highly recommend staying here - thank you again Mabel for hosting us!!

Excellent location if you have a car to explore the fantastic places the Netherlands have to offer. A real enjoyable private space.

The accommodation is really very cozy and inviting. The existing Rituals products also made the house smell very good. I can only report good things about the immediate surroundings. It is nice, quiet and idyllic, yet you can get to Zandvoort or Amsterdam in a good 20 minutes by car. Ruud has given us some really helpful tips. In addition, we were personally escorted from the parking lot to the accommodation, which makes an immediate positive arrival. We enjoyed the time here very much. :)

Max was super responsive to our texts from day one. Great host!!!! Our stay was great with the kitchen having everything we needed for breakfast and late night snacks and more ... the cute balcony rooftop off the kitchen a bonus. Ambiance is amazing from the second we walked in! Beds were comfortable also and 25 min walking distance to train station. Would return again! Thankyou

What a lovely house to stay in! All is new and clean. The house has every comfort and the garden is also wonderfully sunny. You can look up the hustle and bustle of the city because everything is within walking distance. Across the house, you will find a nice sports field and playground for the children. In short: a wonderful place to discover Haarlem. We will definitely come back!

It was a story book area if your there on a Saturday you must try market by the church it was perfect

We had a wonderful peaceful stay at Maaike’s house which felt very homely and clean and had everything we needed to cook at home and relax. Beautiful location right by the national park and a supermarket 5 mins walk away! Really recommend.

Amazing stay! Absolutely perfect place to get away and only a short bicycle ride into town. Saskia and Tijmen were amazing hosts and extremely helpful with everything we needed. Absolutely would recommend. Thanks again!

Laura and her husband Arjan were the perfect hosts! Arjan served us breakfast each morning which included a basket of fresh bread, fruits and cheese. Arjan provided us with great recommendations and most especially - showed us how to use the tram system! It is a lovely apartment and they made us feel very welcome.

The Tiny House is iconic. It’s so cute and cozy. We had a great time staying.

The unit is just 5minutes walk to Haarlem Station! We made the right choice and was easy for us to move around Netherlands. Haarlem city itself is pretty and calm. The unit was cute and cosy too. Thanks Daan!

We had a wonderful stay at Bert and Marieke's spacious apartment. We were welcomed by Bert who helped us with our luggage up the stairs and showed us into their well appointed 2 bedroom apartment. It had everything we could need. The apartment was beautiful. We would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Bert and Marieke.

I can honestly say that this has been the loveliest stay I had in an Airbnb. The place feels like home right away. Sometimes you’ll be welcomed by two lovely very friendly and playful cats when get to the reception. The place is clean, and looks as good as the photos and even better. The best was very comfortable and the bathroom had everything you needed. There’s a wide collection of teas that I really enjoyed as well. Yes there’s no kitchen but I don’t think it’s really needed. The location of the apartment is so perfect. It’s near everything you’d need. There are many nice shops, cafes, bars and restaurants very close by. I’d really consider coming back to Everts place next time I come to Amsterdam.

Maaike and Marko were super friendly! We were able to check in earlier spontaneously, the apartment was nicely furnished and cozy. We felt very welcome and look forward to seeing you again.

This place is great and beautiful. the gardens are amazing.

We had the most wonderful stay. The Garage was perfect for what we needed. It was beautifully done, Sanny and Dennis had thought of everything. It had a lovely feeling to it, was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. Check in was really easy. We used the bikes (thank you!) and the location was a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Alkmaar. We would not hesitate to return. Thank you for creating such a cool and beautiful space. The Condominium is in a nice quiet part of Amsterdam, but still easy to get to city centre. Was very clean and comfortable.

Wonderful space! Beautiful interior, very well equipped for everything you might need over a long weekend stay. Marina was lovely, very helpful and communicative. The bed was extremely comfortable, location excellent, every part of the space is well thought out and would highly recommend it to anyone!

We had a lovely long weekend in Zandvoort. For a few days, the apartment is absolutely sufficient, the village center is right outside the front door and it is also only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Despite the attic and bright sunshine, it was quite cool when the blinds remained closed. Suus was always available for questions. Communication was very straightforward right from the beginning. Absolutely recommended for a relaxing time in Zandvoort.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very walkable neighborhood, close to restaurants, attractions and public transportation. Apartment was right on the canal and had a beautiful view out the front window. The bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

This place was wonderful! It was just as described. We enjoyed listening to the birds (wild parakeets and others) as we sat on the balcony in the mornings. The stairs are steep and narrow but that is just part of being in Amsterdam. One thing to note, there are 2 showers, 2 sinks, but only 1 toilet. It didn’t cause any problem for me, but those staying in the first floor bedroom will have to climb up stairs in the middle of the night. Overall, I highly recommend!

Outstanding stay at Huis Roomolen! Henri & Mel were terrific, kind, and very responsive hosts ~ they assisted us with bike rentals nearby, loads of dining options, and a fully stocked studio for our brief time in Amsterdam. The studio itself is in a beautiful, quaint, and very safe area of the city, just blocks from many canals. The studio was impeccably clean, the terrace is lovely, as are the fish and greenery; and the bonus breakfast goodies made for such a relaxing morning before touring around. We highly recommend and would absolutely return! Thank you again, Mel & Henri, for a fabulous stay!

We loved our stay right in the heart of Amsterdam. There is no better place from which one can explore the city, right near the Anne Frank house. The apartment was very clean, and the hosts were very friendly and very responsive. The weather was lovely, and the temperature in the unit was great. We like a cooler room in which to sleep than most, but that was not possible. The bed upstairs is comfortable, but not as nice as real bed with a good mattress. No oven or stove, but that was not a problem at all for us. The kitchen was great for the breakfasts that we ate there.
