Excellent host and excellent Airbnb. I fell in love with Cary, the area is so beautiful and peaceful. The Airbnb itself is the perfect amount of space and Vicki made sure to include all the amenities. We felt right at home. We will definitely book again when back in the area.

This home was the perfect little getaway. Perfect for visiting family and friends in the area with lots to do in places to eat, etc. the host was exceptionally helpful and friendly. I highly recommend.

It was a great stay and very close to the train station which was a plus. A good ideal spot if you want to walk downtown to grab a bite. The place is quiet and perfect for a pair, me and my partner really enjoyed the stay. Thank you so much for having us!

Feb 26 - Mar 1 We were very grateful for David for approving our last minute reservation for the wonderful home. We flew to Chicago for my youngest brother’s Navy Graduation and what awaited us was the most pleasant experience and coziest warm home. Everything from the communication to experiencing the actual place is spot on. We would love to spend another trip to that same place when we come back for my second brother’s graduation. We highly recommend this place 10/10. Thank you again for David for hosting me and my family.

This place is so restful! The apartment was extremely clean and comfortable. We loved the big roomy eat in kitchen with a view of the river. We loved sitting in the front room and watching the river and all of the wildlife - ducks, birds, chipmunks, squirrels and even fish in the water! And the sunsets were sensational!

The host was very helpful, me and my husband enjoyed our stay although im a white light kinda person which i thought the bathroom gonna be but it’s yellow light. We love the place.

My group immensely enjoyed our stay. The views were beautiful and the amenities were very nice. We really enjoyed using the grill and the campfire. The location is very quiet and peaceful, and it was very easy to relax. Nick was very responsive and always responded quickly and helped us fix every issue. Nick was also very flexible with our check-in time, and was even able to help us get inside at 12 AM in the morning. If I ever go back to Fox Lake, I would 100% choose to stay here again.

We were in town for our sons’ Navy Boot Camp Graduation and our other Airbnb did not work out. Kevin was a lifesaver! He even let us check in early, which really helped us out. The place was clean, spacious, lots of hang out space with cozy couches and comfortable beds. It had everything we needed and Kevin was very responsive and friendly! It was only 15 minutes from the Navy Base, so great location for us. We would definitely stay there again! Thank you Kevin!

This place exceeded our expectations and we already talked about returning! It worked out perfectly for an old group of friends (who we all made time) to spend the weekend fishing and eating and all the things to do together! Loved that the backyard is fully fenced in bc we were able to bring along our dogs for the fun weekend too! The guys had fun taking out the kayaks and boat out into the lake too! So that was a fun amenity to the home! Unfortunately the weekend we went, the wind was terribly strong.. so we ended up not using the bonfire (but hopefully we can next time! 😅) - we weren't even sure how the fishing would be due to the weather but thankfully our group ended up catching a couple of pan fish! Thank you for hosting us! We cant wait to return!

This is not out first stay at Lori's home and not the last. Other than some not-so-good Chicago weather, our stay was great. Looking forward to the next one.

In town for son’s graduation from boot camp. Comfortable home and incredibly clean which I appreciate. Easy check in and check out. Loved the big comfy couch and would have enjoyed utilizing the outdoor patio and lake if it had been warmer. Great home for larger groups or families. Slightly longer drive than I would have liked to the base but worth it if you treasure a waterfront location and view.

We chose this home for its close proximity to the Naval base. Great location for a quiet stay. Close to shopping and restaurants. The home was cozy and the beds so comfortable. The basement area was nice to play ping pong, and also a quiet bedroom for my sailor to take a short nap in. Highly recommend staying here. Jakub’s communication was quick anytime I messaged him.

The house is even cuter in person! we were there for testing for my son at the Amen clinic, so, we ate close to Bannockburn, but in the evenings we would walk to the lake and all around the quaint little town close to the house. The wild berry thrift store was awesome!! Jon is fabulous and answers quickly! 😊

The location was great. About 15 min from downtown. The place was beautiful and clean. I would definitely book with Julia again.

In town for work and this was perfect place to stay for team. Easy walk to the shops and restaurants in Fulton Market while still providing a peacefully quiet setting. Bright, open and clean apartment with 3 large bedrooms. Nice kitchen for all meal-preparing needs If you don’t want to cook, no problem. Some of Chicago’s best restaurants are just a short walk or quick uber ride.

Had a wonderful stay and place was clean with two nice bedrooms. Location was convenient with brown line an easy walk. We were able to get to Wrigley quite easily and downtown. Would definitely stay here again!

The time spent here was wonderful. This place has everything you need to feel at home away from home. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area was also really nice with tons of food and drinks within walking distance. The blue line is a short walk away and the busses run on the corner. I would definitely stay here again when coming back to Chicago.

What a great find! I'm talking about the room AND the host! The beds were very comfortable and the amenities were all we needed. The artwork was wonderful and the design of the rooms (lamps, table, chairs etc) were great. I especially loved the small room heater, it looked like a mini fireplace, I want one for my room at home! Kaye has thought out what a guest needs with all kinds of extras (covers for the chairs for pets), extra blankets, packet full of local information, and clear instructions. She was responsive when I had questions or needs. I was glad to meet her as well, easy to talk with and a very interesting person who knows Chicago extremely well. If I make it back this way, I would definitely stay here again.

Just minutes from the lake and downtown, we were able to enjoy charming local shops, great restaurants, and stunning lakeside views without needing to drive far. We enjoyed our stay here! It has a comfortable king bed and unique decor which made our visit fun. The location is very close to the lake and walkable to several downtown restaurants, coffee shops, Lake Geneva Shore Path and lake tour boats. We enjoyed getting custom-make breakfast wraps downstairs. We had a college reunion event at the Geneva Taphouse a couple blocks away. Lots to do and see in downtown Lake Geneva!

Great place to stay during our trip, looks exactly like the photos and felt very central to all the places we wanted to go. Train entrance was very close and several establishments within walking distance. Host was extremely helpful and proactive with check in assistance and responded quickly.
