This place was very charming. Super clean and very well appointed. My wife and I stayed here with our 8 month old for a weekend getaway and loved it. We grilled out for dinner each night and enjoyed breakfast sandwiches and donuts at Bodi’s bake shop every morning (best donuts I’ve ever had). Twin lakes isn’t a touristy destination, so even though it was Memorial Day weekend, it was nice and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Dr. Cheryl's place was amazing! Loved the peaceful area and surroundings as well as the home itself. It was very well decorated and had a lot of personality - very cozy and comfortable to live in! Dr. Cheryl was a great host and it was great to hang out with her as well as the other tenants during my stay. She's great with communication about anything going on during the stay and very accommodating. Had a wonderful stay - would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

Historical Hideaway Near Naval Base

We had such a great experience in Emily's home. We were blown away by the place , it was everything we wanted and more. This was our first experience in an Air bnb, so has made a very good impression on this service. We stayed here for our son's bootcamp graduation and it was the perfect location. Close to the train station if you want to commute to Chicago, a lovely beach nearby, a large mall etc., and most importantly a 10-15 minite drive to the Navy Base, everything you could possibly need but still tucked away in the sweetest historic neighborhood. we absolutely loved it and can't wait to book it again to visit him in A school. The house itself was clean, very tastefully decorated, and had very comfy beds! our son loved the master bed! On top of that many amenities were supplied, coffee machine, laundry, games etc. Thank you for being such a great host Emily. If your place is available we will definitely book again!
