(Sleeping place for 6 good friends.) Good cabin to stay in, warm and cosy. Good to have as a base because there is short drive to Reykjavik(80 km), south and west side of Iceland. Short drive to nature of the South: Golden Circle, Waterfall Faxi, Seljalandsfoss, Skógarfoss, glacier, mountains, lakes and rivers.

My place is close to The Golden Circle and the Highlands. The place has picturesque view. You can see Hekla, Eyjafjallajökul, Langjökull through the windows of the cottage. Closed to the cottage is Skálholt church, one of Iceland´s most important historic sites. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, the coziness, the kitchen, the hot tub. My place is good for couples and solo adventurers. Only 2 km to Health service. If you have back problems we have a soft mattress for you.

I stay in a magical place in front of the lake with a breathtaking view. The house was very clean, very quiet, comfortable and equipped with everything you need. Super location, as well as communication with hosts. Follow the instructions of the host carefully to get to the place, not very easy to reach with Google maps. Highly recommended! This house is beautiful and the view is amazing. We loved soaking in the hot tub while gazing at the glacier in the distance, surrounded by trees. There are stairs to access the house, but we were able to navigate them just fine. The nearby town had a lovely spa, Laugarvatn Fontana, that we enjoyed, and we recommend the restaurant Linden. We stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The host was responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Berglind’s place is comfortable, clean and a home away from home. She has put many fine touches and details into her Air BnB that made us feel so welcome and made our stay convenient.
