Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Grímsnes- og Grafningshreppur

It was a peaceful place to stay with beautiful views. The house was big with a fully stocked kitchen. Sheets and towels were made for us when we got there. It felt like a home away from home. The pool was also truly amazing. It is situated a way out into the countryside, but also sort of in the middle of all the sights we went to see so fit us perfectly. We recieved quick answers to any questions and helpful tips on what to do and where to go. We were so greatful that the kids could visit the horses and cows with calves and cuddle with the dogs. All in all it was a perfect stay for us!

Highly recommended! The villa is well equipped and has a large space that fits 6 people perfectly with a great view and location that made our stay so enjoyable. Thor was a great host. And i will definitely comeback again.

A great cabin for a large group - we had 6 adults with room to spare. No issues with hot water, but we ran into a late night flooding issue in cabin 1, which Arni responded to the next morning. Can prep a basic meal in the clean kitchen, lots of dishware available. Cabins are warm and are well insulated, with amazing views of that gorgeous lake. Pillows and blankets were so comfortable. This is a solid location for fishing if you’re into that, with an outdoor sink by the lake as well. We loved driving home and saying hi to the sheep, lamb, and horses. There’s laundry, which is great, but the dryer is less effective than we expected (if you’re used to American dryers) so just watch out for that. Internet is perfect from the common cabin but inaccessible from the others. Need to pack shampoo/conditioner/hair dryer. We loved our stay here but note: beware Google maps if it takes you on Grafningsvegur Efri and then Klifsskogur - a narrow road that closes (at night/always?).

We had an amazing time at Emma and Oskar’s place. The location was serene and breathtaking. Beautiful views of the water and wildlife. The home was extremely cozy, tasteful, and had everything we could ask for. The deck had gorgeous views, a wonderful hot tub, the water was always hot, the beds were comfortable and the entire place had a cozy feel. Hosts gave very clear check in instructions which made it a breeze. The home is close to everything you need. We had an amazing time and highly recommend to anyone traveling to Iceland.

This home offered a cozy place to stay for our family of 9 as we visited the Golden Circle. The rural location was so peaceful. The kitchen was nice for meal preparation and the beds were very comfortable. We would definitely recommend this home for your stay!

We were absolutely amazed when we walk in to the house. Hjordis’s house is even nicer than in to the photos! House was very stylish, clean and cozy and with all little details which were waiting there for us we were really amazed. There were also provided everything you should need during your stay here. Also instructions was very clear so we didn’t have a problem with anything. It was also great location for our shorter Icelandic trip and we catch everything we wanted to see from there.

Leszek was very supportive, the information about the house precise. The place is beautiful, cozy and cabin-like. The hot tub is very pleasant (the water smells like sulfur due to the geothermal area). we would definitely recommend this place Nd come back again!

A very spacious modern home, perfect for our stay. It was very mindfully decorated and had everything we needed - kitchen, washing machine etc. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay was perfect, great location and lots to do nearby! Beds were all super comfortable and there was lots of room for everyone. She also added lots of nice little touches to the place which we loved! We had an excellent time and would definitely stay here again!

We stayed 2 nights in Elfa’s place during the summer. The instruction is clear and you have everything you need there. The apartment has a very good floor plans. You could definitely sleep peacefully if you have a company who snores. Elfa is responsive and even willing to let us pick up our stuff when we left and forgot our stuff in the fridge.

Great location, fantastic views, wonderful apartment with comfortable mattresses, well equipped kitchen and lovely hot pool.

Enjoying the scenery alone is very comfortable, except for the stable at the back that makes a sound from time to time, which can be a bit of an impact, everything else is well arranged.

Great stay!! One of the places in Iceland where the water in the shower did not smell and perfect location!
