The cottage is a peaceful and homely cottage that sleeps two guests. The Cottage has a fully equipped kitchenette, a bathroom with shower, two 90x200 square feet beds that can be attached together into one King Size double bed, two bedside tables and a wardrobe. The cottage is on the Golden Circle, about an hour's drive from Reykjavik and about a 40 minute drive from Gullfoss and Geysir. There is a pool a short walk to the Borg or pool on Laugarvatn, where the Fontana spa is located. The owners of the Kot live on the next property and are available to assist guests.

Jóhannshús stands in a spectacular place with great view over Stóra-Laxá river, Langjökul glacier and a rig of mountains. Placed on a family horse farm 10 km from Flúðir village, close to the Golden circle. Very good geo thermal heating in the house. Hot tub uses also geo thermal water.
