5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The location was absolutely perfect for our team, with easy access to the K’Gari barges. The house met all of their needs comfortably, and David was a breeze to communicate with—friendly, responsive, and professional. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this Airbnb and will definitely be booking again in the future.

Wow, there are no words to describe the peace and tranquility of this riverside home. From the moment you walk in, you can just feel the calmness and you are instantly gifted with the most beautiful views. It’s truly special. The house came wonderfully stocked which is always very thoughtful (and getting rarer and rarer with Airbnb), and had games and books and plenty to do. Bedrooms were beautiful and the beds were very comfy: beautiful, elegant bathrooms adjoined both bedrooms. Morning coffee on the couch just gave the most beautiful views in every direction, as did dinner on the beautiful deck. HIGHLY recommend!

Lisa and Mel have created such a haven in a tranquil bay overlooking K’Gari. We arrived late and left early and yet they had prepared a continental breakfast and were so responsive with local recommendations. The Amethyst Cottage is homely and very comfortable with a generous king size bed plus indoor and outdoor seating. The shower and bathroom are very spacious and everything was sparkling clean. Thank you so much for providing a wonderful retreat from which we explored the Mount Walsh National Park. Rachel and Andrew
