Beachfront holiday rentals in Great Sacandaga Lake

This was our first trip to Lake Pleasant but it will not be our last. The neighboring houses were a great fit for our group. Andrew was very helpful and responsive to questions while I tried to figure out logistics. Everyone loved having our own little beach to enjoy a weekend of “lake life”. Location is on a peaceful stretch of a big bay on a clean beautiful lake. The house is comfy and comfortably fits a group. Even if you were in the kitchen, or cooking on the barbecue you didn’t miss out on the lake fun. We are already trying to figure out when we can go back.

We just spent 3 wonderful nights at Lisa’s house. The view was absolutely amazing! Everything was great. Very helpful when we asked questions and was very accommodating. Wish we could have stayed longer but had to get back to work. Would definitely rent this house again

We had such a wonderful weekend at Chandra's A-frame cabin. The space was private, quiet and had a gorgeous view of the lake. We enjoyed kayaking and having a fire on the dock at night. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing weekend with our pups!

This home was absolutely beautiful and the photos do not do it justice! It’s perfectly placed on the Great Sacandaga Lake with incredibly easy access to have fun out on the lake! The home was pristine and had absolutely everything you could think of needing in the kitchen!

Beautiful place, gorgeous lake, your very own portion of the shore, floating dock is a huge bonus. Kayaking, fishing, swimming or just chilling by the fire, cant beat that! House is clean, roomy, plenty or space for the family. Hosts were amazing, super helpful and responded within minutes to any inquiries. We will definitely come back next summer!

Spectacular water view! Nice outdoor space right on the lake. Cottage was pristine and had great amenities. Particularly appreciated the "hotel" touches like terry robes and a lavish welcome basket with wine and treats. Communication with the owner was prompt and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely wonderful. The lake house and cabin were perfect for the number of people we had. The owner Glenn is a hard worker and his accommodations are perfect. He and his wife Bev do such a great job taking care of their properties. This is our 2nd time at their Lake Pleasant lake house and we can’t wait to go back. A wonderful stay .👍

Just did a quick overnight camping trip not too far away from home. I loved that check-in is after noon. Those few extra hours really mean a lot when normal family life is so hectic. Donald was busy when we arrived around 1pm so his son was there. Donald did pop in later to check on things. Myself, husband son, daughter, and son's girlfriend had a great time fishing, swimming, and kayaking. We brought along our 2 dogs who had a lot of fun in the water. Campsite was exactly as described. Only 2 sites and the other was not being used so it was extra special. If you want peaceful, comfortable family bonding time with a real camp experience this is it! And Donald, and his family, haver really thought of everything.

Good getaway spot for a weekend in the winter. The area was quiet and private. Not too many people around which was great. Not far from downtown Lake George and 15 min from Bolton Landing. Place was clean and had everything we wanted! We will go again at some point! Beautiful views if you walk towards the water. Fireplace worked well. Kitchen and bathroom were very clean. All basic amenities provided.

We had an excellent experience… best way for our family to spend summer vacation. The home was a perfect fit for all 6 of us in terms of space and layout. We enjoyed the porch, pool , lake and all town had to offer. We will be back. Thank you, Michelle for being an excellent host !!!

4.5 stars This is a lakefront, standalone villa with a deck and chairs right over the water and incredible views from the living area. It was very clean and we loved starting and ending our days on the deck. This villa is at the edge of the property and feels nice and private. Unfortunately, the property next door has what sounds like a large pump right outside the bedroom window. The pump turned on/off every few minutes throughout the night, so if you are a light sleeper this may be tough for you.

Camille was very responsive and welcoming, house was very cute and spacious, loved the waterfront access and fire pit!

Amazing stay! Exactly as described in the listing. It was the perfect location for us, short drive to both Lake George and Bolton Landing. We were traveling with our 10 month old and there was plenty of space for him to play. The view of the lake was 10/10!

We enjoyed our stay at Melody Manor. The unit was immaculate and had everything you need. The view was fabulous! We were there in the off season so it was quiet - but, just what we were looking for. I can see how this would be a great place to stay in the summer - pool, tennis/pickle ball, kayaks, paddle boards, etc. Very happy with Rose and how responsive she was - will definitely consider staying here again if we are back in Lake George!

The sundowner hotel has easy check in and out ,very clean and the apt a choose had everything I need as I was home Great location,5 minutes walking from bars,,supermarket stores to get souvenir ,best breakfast you will have at “the breakfast spot club”.Me and my family had an amazing time (not enough days to enjoy,must go for at least a week if you really loves nature)Paula Lisboa🇧🇷🇺🇸

We absolutely loved our stay at Trifecta on the Lake. The house was amazing: clean, spacious, and full of little touches, including snacks and games. The location was also amazing: a small, clean lake, perfect for swimming, kayaking and fishing. And, our hosts were amazing: friendly, helpful, and responsive. If the opportunity arises, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you Jim & Sue!

This stay was absolutely perfect in every way! The space itself was spotless — clean, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. The host was exceptional — incredibly responsive, helpful, and genuinely friendly. Any questions we had were answered almost immediately, and it felt like they truly wanted us to have the best experience possible. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and worry-free getaway, I can’t recommend this place enough. We’re already planning our next trip back!

We had a nice time here, the listing is a little confusing because in one area it said essentials were not included and in another it says linens and towels were included (they were). The shower is tiny and was a little difficult for our over 6ft tall husbands but therr is a hose so they managed. The house water isn't the best but the host provided a few gallons of spring water which was greatly appreciated. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows were great. All of the chairs had blankets and the kitchen had everything we needed. The river is beautiful and very close to the house and the fire pit was nice. We had a lot of rain which killed our hiking plans but there were tons of board games and we had a great long weekend.

Jim and his wife were lovely hosts! The property is stunning and we loved sitting on the bench in the gardens as well as sitting on the private deck overlooking beautiful Lake Galway. A few restaurants within driving distance, including a cute diner about 5 minutes away. The host was kind enough to take us for a ride on their boat and gave some fishing pointers while telling us about the region. Outdoor hot tub felt great on cool evenings. We had 4 adults and there was plenty of space. We didn’t have the kids for this trip, but seems like a kid-friendly area and there were kayaks for use as well as a dock for swimming/fishing. We hope to return annually!

In the words of my 8 year old niece as we were sitting on the bench by the lake “I love it here, it’s so peaceful” Donna’s lake house was the perfect home to share with our family for a summer vacation. Close enough to home so we could go back and forth as needed, head into the village to meet friends for a great dinner/lunch. Yet the perfect spot to feel like you were away from it all. Large deck, great grill, well appointed, large lawn and beach. The neighbors were also very friendly and welcoming ! We are already planning for next year Thanks Donna !

We had an amazing time at Charlie’s Haven. Everything was as promised. Sandra was so sweet and helpful. The place was immaculate. The lake and view are spectacular. We didn’t want to leave and are already planning our next trip back. We highly recommend a visit to this little slice of heaven!

Loved the house! Great amenities, neighborhood wasn’t the best but the house was sooo nice.

Bob and Diane did a good job to be sure we had a peaceful vacation, even with other guest cottages. They weren't in their lakeside cabin so we had access to the whole shared property. It is a lovely spot with a sandy beach. The tennis courts and kayaks were a plus. It is on a hill but we are agile and in our 70's and it was fine for us to walk to the beach. We had a lovely time.
