Holiday rentals with a kayak in Granbury

We loved the home!!! We had great time and the are was very cozy also neighbors we great as well!!! Highly recommended

This was the perfect home for our multi-family stay with young kids! The house was well stocked with a crib, toys, books and games, and the pool and fishing access were a huge hit. The house was clean and comfortable! Very quick drive from the house into the Granbury town square. We would stay again!

Our family of 4 (+ our dog) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shorhaus on Lake Granbury. It was impeccably clean, the kitchen was very well provisioned and the beds were comfortable. We loved the game room and spent a lot of time playing ping pong & shuffleboard, but also really enjoyed cooking s'mores over the fire pit. It is an incredibly peaceful spot on the lake. The Canadian Geese and ducks seemed to enjoy it too! We didn't need much help, but both Mike & Christine were very quick & responsive when we had some questions. Loved it and we'd definitely go back.

If you are looking for a lake house right on the water with paddle boats and canoes to enjoy fun in the sun in Granbury, this is your home. A beautiful neighborhood, friendly atmosphere right on the water wish we could have stayed longer but we had to get back to work. This is a gem on the lake. So much room great kitchen barbecue pit worked great for a nice home-cooked meal.

Wonderful lake home! Gorgeous views. Home was clean and comfortable. Hot tub was clean and great to relax in. Husband and kids loved fishing off the dock. they caught quite a few (bring minows). We used the kayaks and enjoyed exploring in them as a family. Our kids are 12 and 9 and did fine on the steps down to the dock...but they are steep and give a workout on the way back up so would be harder for younger kids or anyone not physically able to handle them. Host was helpful and responsive. We would definitely go back!

We absolutely loved our stay and wished we could stay longer. The community pool was great. It was a beautiful view and so cool being on property with the amazing longhorns. We had delicious farm fresh eggs and steak to cook on our stay too. Family and pet friendly. Would be great for large groups interested in renting multiple cabins. We loved the house layout, it was perfect for two families. Beds were really comfortable too. A really fun and peaceful trip.

The Crow’s Nest was above and beyond what we imagined — truly the perfect getaway for our family of six! From the moment we arrived (in the middle of the night!), we felt welcomed and completely at ease. Scott went out of his way to make our late-night arrival smooth by thoughtfully turning on lights, creating a warm and inviting welcome. His responsiveness and care throughout our stay were exceptional. The home itself is a dream — beautifully organized, clearly labeled, and stocked with everything a family could need, right down to the delightful s’mores bar! Our teens were obsessed with the game room, while the puzzles and family games provided cozy moments for us to connect indoors. The location offered the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure, with access to the water and charming nearby towns. We genuinely wish we had more time just to enjoy this amazing home. I would highly recommend The Crow’s Nest to anyone looking for a getaway!

What a beautiful little hideaway on Granbury Lake! Clean and pristine! I LOVE the decor! It was adorable and so well put together! The beds were WONDERFUL! SUPER comfy!! So much that I had to ask where she got them so I could get one myself! Loved the soaking tub as well as the hot tub. The view of the lake is wonderful—really adds to the peaceful setting. The fire pit was a fun way to end the day. We enjoyed our meals on the deck, though you might want to bring some bug repellent and citronella candles or torches to repel bugs and mosquitoes, as you’re at the lake with lots of typical wildlife and water around you. It’s also close to the town square as well as groceries. We personally had Amazon and Walmart deliver groceries and other items. I honestly was impressed how quickly aforos got back to us when we had questions—even late at night—I kind of felt bad for her to be so on call all the time—she is really devoted to making sure your stay is wonderful! I look forward to next time!

What an amazing place to stay! We stayed over Thanksgiving and it was close enough to Ft. Worth to visit friends and Granbury where we had some work to do the next couple of days. Super peaceful and comfortable! Wish we had more time to be able to explore the ranch! The shower was fantastic and I was determined to use the hot tub even though it was cold outside! Really unique experience staying in a safari tent. I highly recommend it!

Our family had a wonderful stay there, we grilled, we made s'mores, we played broad games and had fun in the surrounding attractions. The host, Amy, was very responsive to our questions and requests. During the first night, the storm took down a tree branch blocking the driveway. It was taken care within a day while Amy and her family was overseas. Appreciate it. Overall, we had a good visit.

This is more than a place yo stay: it is a retreat and a place to reset and recharge. You can pet all the livestock, walk the river, swim, visit the adorable downtown (just a short walk away), or enjoy the peace and serenity from the rocking chairs on the porch. I hope to go back soon!
