Holiday rentals with a kayak in Gold Country

We loved the kayaking and swimming in the lake tail. The house was big and comfortable, kitchen well stocked. Beds were very comfortable and bedrooms spacious. Beautiful patios with view of the woods. Close to Yosemite Valley and we had an amazing time.

Our family is so happy to be staying at Tanya’s house! It’s just a 5-minute walk to Pine Mountain Lake, and we’re also able to use the swimming pool, which is a great bonus. The only issue we noticed is that most of the non-stick frying pans are with scratches and can’t really be used anymore. Other than that, the house is great and we’re all really enjoying our time here. Thank you for letting us stay in your home!

The house was perfect for our group of 5 that included two kids. Pictures are an accurate representation of the space. Everything was clean an comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The back deck was great with views of the golf course. My kids loved watching the deer and wild turkey's walk by. We even saw a small fox one day. The lake is only a 5 minute walk down the road, with a great little swimming beach. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

One of the best airbnbs we have ever stayed in! Everything was clean and just as pictured! If you have a family, this place was perfect! Well stocked in every baby item you could possibly need! We also had a blast taking out the paddle boards to the lake everyday! The hot tub was clean and peaceful and the beds were so comfortable! I would highly recommend! Definitely worth the price!!

Kathleen were fantastic Host. She communicated well, instructions were professional and very detail. Best part of the stay was the Newly setup spa tub, we enjoyed it a lot and it was relaxing after the end of the day trip to enjoy it. Thanks and look forward to staying here again !

The perfect home to stay at for a family gateway. The home had all essentials needed. Beds were comfortable. Very clean home and spacious. My family enjoyed their stay. Definitely give this a 10/10

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s place. The place was easy to find, clean, amenities as listed in description and very accommodating for our group with small children with the backyard trampoline, playground tire swing. The house is beautiful and everything worked well - AC, grill, appliances, no issues encountered which made this a convenient and hassle free stay. Close to Oakhurst for all your conveniences, Bass Lake and Yosemite. Check in/out process was very smooth, clear instructions were provided in advance.

This place was perfect for our Anniversary get away! We were able to spend a day at Yosemite riding E-bikes and spend the next day on the lake. We received a discount to rent a boat because of our host and enjoyed the hot tub at the end of each day! There are many restaurants within walking distance, a grocery store, and a fun friendly bar close by. We will definitely be back!

This place is absolutely fabulous with a lake view! We were greeted by Ben, who was wonderful and gave us the white glove walk through of the unit and the areas. The location is the best. It’s within 2 min walk of everything you need (grocery store, souvenir shop, restaurants, bar). The locals here are extremely friendly. The unit is equipped with a fireplace and hot tub, great for nighttime hangouts. Enjoy your cup of coffee on the front porch. Tom, the owner, is so impressive, he is a local for 30+ year building his business which includes this Airbnb and boat rentals and restaurants/bars. Helping to support the community and hiring incredible people to run it all. Highly recommend you rent a boat if you stay her, you get 10% off. We loved it so much, we are already planning our next trip here!

We’ve stayed with Gerson and BethAnn twice now. And we have enjoyed it both times. It’s a great place to make life long memories with my family. I would recommend this place to anyone.

great place, the locations is amazing and close to alot to walk to. the place it's self is fantastic. the only downside is the kitchen doesnt have any cooking stuff just a microwave but the restaurants are all around it and east to walk to. definitely worth it.

Exceeded our expectations! Even more beautiful surroundings than pictured! Lots of tranquil seating, lounge chairs, a hammock to enjoy reading , relaxing and bird watching /! Also, their land connects to further hiking, and they have a paddleboat for the lake and two kayaks to use on the lake, or to borrow! The hosts are very warm and friendly and happy to offer information on local biking/ hiking/ etc. Looking forward to coming back with friends! Thank you both for your hospitality!

Very impressed with this rental. Honestly it is better than what the pictures show. Lots of parking for cars or boats, great spaces inside, and quiet little street with your own private cove.

wow! Our new favorite place! The kitchen is well stocked with what you would need to make a simple meal, the rooms are all spacious and beautifully decorated. And the beds and bedding were so comfortable! We were able to use our streaming stick and had access to the HVAC control. Internet was great...no buffering at all! I can't say enough about Lisa's place. The location is great. Lisa is a great communicator, friendly and thoughtful host. We had a basket of goodies waiting for us with a welcome note and, I left a top behind and she called to let me know. We were able to turn around and go back to pick it up. I was so thankful for Lisa's thoughtfulness. We are already anticipating and planning our next stay!

We had a beautiful stay at this serene getaway tucked in the woods, surrounded by peaceful forest views—exactly what we were looking for! The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, making it a perfect escape from the city. The host was incredibly communicative and responsive, which made our experience even smoother. If we had to mention anything that could have made it even better, a jacuzzi would’ve been a dreamy addition (just a personal favorite!), and an on-site trash disposal system would’ve saved a little time during checkout. That said, both these things were clearly mentioned ahead of time, so there were no surprises. All in all, a wonderful stay—we’d love to come back again !

My girlfriends and I loved our stay at the Big Dipper! The cabin is beautiful, comfortable and conveniently located. There was plenty of space for the six of us. We particularly enjoyed hanging out on the stunning deck, in the hot tub and at nearby Speedboat Beach. Sally was a communicative and helpful host, and her local recommendations are spot on! We would happily to return and will not hesitate to recommend this property to our friends and family.

I loved this cabin in the woods. Worked well for our group and the location in blue lakes is great. Would love to come back!

By far my favorite air bnb I have stayed at. Great location and community and the perfect sized home for my family with tons of things to do.

The cabin was amazing. Just outside of town and on a private pond. They have a summer camp across the pond. You hear cheerful kids playing and the serene landscape of the ca foothills. Truly a great place to stay.

Total relaxation on Chipmunk St. The back yard is a peaceful haven, inducing naps and calmness. Hot tub and fire pit were wonderful. Access to bikes, kayaks was a plus. Walk to beach and downtown easy. Free concert on the beach Friday evening was fun. Great food everywhere we dined. Elaine was very accessible and helpful throughout the trip. Stairwell to bedrooms is a challenge but beds extremely comfy.

The cottage is in the woods about 10 minutes outside of Nevada City and exactly as pictured. There was a large bedroom downstairs and two bedrooms, a kitchen and a living room upstairs. There was a bathroom with a tub/shower upstairs and a bathroom with large shower downstairs. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you might need to cook. There was a nice deck outside the kitchen and another picnic table and a fire circle at different locations on the property. The driveway is a little steep. We figured out that it is much easier if you swing the car to the left just before you turn right into the driveway. The air conditioning works well. It was a very comfortable stay for our party of five adults.

Love Neals place, so serene, literally! The three bed was great for our family. The kitchen was very well stocked and the road the home is on is so sweet. In the winter, be prepared for snow for the ski bunnies! Soda springs is at the highest elevation… We came looking for snow and found it. I bet the lake in the summer is gorgeous too. Thank you Neal!
