Holiday rentals with a home cinema in Gold Country

I loved everything about our stay here by the marina. Gorgeous water view and snow capped mountains in the distance, and lots to do nearby. Great central location for all Reno/Sparks destinations. We had breakfast a few mornings at lighthouse cafe downstairs and walked around the water. The rental was exactly as advertised with lots of little thoughtful amenities in the room/bathroom such as toiletries, q-tips, flossers, sunscreen, aloe, ice packs in the freezer, condiments in the fridge, etc. Chris was responsive and helpful with our request for an early check-in. I would absolutely stay here again soon!

Susan's place was exactly as describe...and then some. Very private and quiet. Mentioned before, but the option of watching a movie on the projection screen was great fun. Love the big screen. On another note, we had accidentally left some clothes in the closet. When we reached out to Susan she was very diligent in locating them and getting them to us. We could not have asked for a better host. We found the location nicely located since we had easy access to Tahoe and we were just over Kingsbury grade from Carson City, with a side trip to Virginia City. Thank you, Susan.

Fabulous slopeside condo! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Condo had ample room for us (3 adults), and the location could not be beat. Description is spot on. Check in/out was simple, and Shideh was a wonderful communicator. Would definitely stay again!

This is an airy and bright apartment building and Walter & Celina’s unit is warm and cozy, very clean and well-kept. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, very close to the train station and a Costco and stone’s throw away from restaurants and places to hang out. Walter is super helpful and a great host. Enjoyed our stay here, will come back to stay here if I visit the area again

The place was as described and looked like the pictures. Erica was very responsive to questions we had. The unit also had some extra bathroom amenities like eye makeup remover and Q-tips besides your usual shampoo/conditioner and body wash. They also gave a small s’more’s package. The kitchen had standard supplies but had some plastic dining ware that we were able to use for the kids. They also had a toy and book basket with games that my kids loved. Very family friendly. The location is a little farther from the ski lifts but completely walkable and in the village. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved the place so much that we will definitely stay there again, and Natalie was everything you want from a host so we will book through her again. Her communication was very friendly, helpful, and responsive, so the whole experience was a pleasure. Northstar Lodge is in such a convenient location it literally has a gondola next to it to take you up to the slopes. One day for lunch we skied down to Inclined Burgers in the Village, and then went back up on a chairlift next to the restaurant. At the end of each day, we skied down to just steps from our building! In the evenings we walked to the Village to eat dinner. One night we had s’mores (purchased at the front desk) at the firepit outside our building.

Great little place to stay, 12 min drive from Northstar and 3-5 min from shops and restaurants in Kings Beach. Stairs leading to the loft area could use a handrail, but they did specify that they're not suitable for children or the elderly, which is accurate! But the bed upstairs is super comfortable once you get up there. The sofa on the main level is not the same as pictured, but still comes out into a bed, although it's really only good for one person because the back center cushion doesn't come out and there's no actual mattress. But all in all this was a good place for a short stay, and the projector was awesome!

We had another Airbnb booked for the weekend, but when we arrived, we discovered smoke damage and had to find a last-minute alternative. Thankfully, we found Beth’s listing—and what a lifesaver! She responded immediately, allowed us to check in early, and even provided a parking pass so we could head straight to the slopes without any added stress. The place was cozy, convenient, and exactly what we needed. We’ll definitely be booking with Beth again in the near future!

Juan was extremely flexible when it came to checking in. Check in was set for 4pm, and I had a car full of boys playing in a tournament that weekend. I asked Juan if we could check in early and sure enough, we checked in early. The house was very nice, spacious, and comfortable. plenty of linen and pillows, and sleeping spots. The basketball hoops inside was a big bonus!

Our family had a fantastic stay over a long weekend. The house was immaculate and location was very peaceful. It had every amenity we could have wanted and some wonderful extra touches. Our kids loved the game room and hammocks. We will definitely be back!!

This place was perfect for us. An old California home (but with lovely hardworking AC!) with lots of character. The neighborhood was enjoyable and felt safe into the evening, a short 25 min walk to the capital buildings. Great price, comfy beds, plenty of space to work and relax. The 5G WiFi was fast and reliable (but took me a day to figure out, since the non-5G one is quite slow). The projector was fun and my dog loved people watching out the front windows.

10/10 house! My family and I loved this house and had the most amazing time! We had a few outings planned that we ended up cancelling because we loved how peaceful and serene the backyard was. The hot tub and Blackstone BBQ are great amenities that we took full advantage of. A true oasis! We have a 2 and 4 year old and they loved running around, swinging in the hammock and playing on the bunkbeds. The house feels so loved and well taken care of that we felt right at home. The host was very responsive and made sure our stay was 5 stars. They even provided complimentary bagels and cream cheese from a local bakery that made the perfect breakfast sandwiches. We would recommend this house to anyone visiting Reno!!

We stayed here for 10 days with our young children and hardly left the property! The house is stunning and there’s so much to explore outside. We spent most days swimming in the gorgeous pool too. Michelle was the most helpful and responsive host I’ve ever met - she was wonderful. Thank you for hosting us!

A Perfect Stay – Cozy, Thoughtful, and Exceptionally Hosted! I can't say enough good things about this stay! The space was incredibly cozy and comfortable—just what I needed to relax and unwind. Every little detail was thought of; anything you could possibly need was already there, from kitchen essentials to extra blankets, toiletries, and even little touches that made it feel like home. Therese truly went above and beyond in every way. So kind, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, she made sure everything was perfect from the moment I arrived until check-out. Ranjita was amazing host for our trip to Napa and San Francisco. We absolutely loved staying in her beautiful home. All of her decor and layout made it possible for us to have a place to relax and unwind after sight seeing and venturing. My family of 2 adults and 2 kids had a great stay at this cozy spot! The location cannot be beat if you ski at Northstar. You can literally see the end of Village Run from the window! My kids enjoyed the bunk bed, and they had everything we needed for a short weekend ski weekend. The host was very friendly and proactive. I recommend staying here and hope we might have a chance to visit another year!

Adam and Sidharth are probably the most communicative host my family have ever rented from! Thank you Adam for that! Pros: Worldmark by Wyndham is where we stayed. Worldmark think of the extras like spices, salt/pepper coffee nicely stocked kitchen. Filtered lake view, twin beds one bedroom and queen in the other. 2 minute drive to Bolder parking. Great for skiing. Con: the room we stayed in was above the employee lounge with a TV running all night. We never slept. That’s not Sidharth’s or Adam’s fault. If you are at all near reception make sure you tell them to turn the TV off!!!

Very good family ski in ski out condo for spring break. Well stocked kitchen and updated appliances. Clean bathroom with plenty of towels etc. Comfy couch and living area. A little bit of a walk (with stairs) from the parking area so if you have senior members of your group keep that in mind. Very easy to get to and from the slope (ski down to gondola in 15 seconds). Village run returns you right to parking area for the condo.

Lori was a great host very friendly and quick responses! It was exactly as described and accurate to the photos! Perfect for our family of 5 the kids loved the loft and projector screen! You can’t get any better than this location we walked right outside to the gondola and all the restaurants are close to get to, steps away. All you need is right there in the village! We are already planning our next trip back!

Location location location. Walking distance to just about anything you could want/need. Valet was easy. Kitchen was stocked. And the pool and jacuzzi’s were the cherry on top. Would definitely recommend.

My family and I had a great time at Zeke's place. The people from the previous stay did not return the keys but check-in still went smoothly. After our skiing day ended, I enjoyed watching skiers return to their cars, down Home Run, from the dining room table. Our family's routine of ski, play in the snow, hit the pool did not get old for the duration of the stay. Looking forward to returning.
