Surrounded by trees on 1/2 acre, our cottage in Kensington/ Berkeley Hills is a perfect country house in the city. Our relaxing light-filled retreat is decorated with our original textile designs, Kiran's fine art photography and has a hot tub under the stars.

The cottage itself is surrounded by a forest, and we spent many hours soaking in the scenery and peacefulness, while relaxing on the deck, eating meals outside, and taking dips in the hot tub. The cottage itself was very clean and stocked with amenities that made our stay more comfortable. Laura and Kiran were great communicators and hosts, and we would absolutely love to stay at the cottage again!”
Friendly, hospitable hosts and private comfortable room with queen bed in a quiet residential neighborhood near UC Berkeley. Easy walk to bus and BART, shops, pubs, and restaurants. The Garden Hideaway is a freestanding building in our back yard. The view from you room is of our vegetable garden (and perhaps of a hummingbird or two). There is unlimited free wifi. You will have access to one off-street parking space for a compact car.

Peaceful and quiet but just a few blocks to UC Berkeley, all the restaurants of the "Gourmet Ghetto", and the North Berkeley Bart station. WE ARE AVAILABLE FOR HOSTING.
