Villa holiday rentals in Gibbes

Our stay here was wonderful! We are a family of 5 and this house had plenty of space. The description in the listing is very accurate. John was great with communication, and helped make our arrival smooth. With the pool table, plunge pool, lounge chairs, and the beach access, we felt like we didn’t have to leave the house to enjoy our vacation. Plenty of towels, beach towels, and a washer and dryer. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes and appliances. We would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage. Thanks so much to Dawn and Mark for always getting back to us and for being so helpful with any local questions we had. We felt very welcome and didn’t want to leave! We stayed with our 2 young daughters who loved the pool. They also enjoyed the pool at Paul Owen’s. The local restaurants are lovely and Masey’s supermarket being walking distance was helpful. We also walked to Paynes beach which is 25 minutes towards Bridgetown direction but would highly recommend it! Peaceful beach with sunbeds and umbrellas. A beach bar with great food and we saw turtles. Don’t forget your snorkel!!

The pictures do not do this place justice. The views are so beautiful and the villa is well kept. Warren was so responsive and helpful with assisting me plan details for my bestfriends bachelorette celebration. He provided lots of guidance and recommendations and assisted me with purchasing flowers and grocery items for our stay. The villa has small touches like plush robes in each of the rooms and lots of linens and towels to utilize during your stay. Ms. Jackie was so sweet and helpful and welcoming during check-in and checkout. There is lots of space/seating for entertaining if you’re with a group. We took a stroll around the corner to a local spot called Wendy’s and the neighborhood felt safe and quiet. I will definitely return again. Thank you Warren and Sherri for making our experience so memorable.

We had the best stay at Mariam’s. The house is beautiful - the photos really don’t do it justice. Mariam went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and was so quick to communicate. The location was great - close to everything we needed whilst still feeling private and quiet. Sometimes by the pool we could hear the sounds of the neighbourhood, but we were never disturbed. We did enjoy the company of a very friendly cat, who would sometimes visit while we were by the pool. Amanda and Desmond were on hand and were brilliant. One evening the gas bottle of the BBQ ran out during cooking. However Mariam had this rectified by the time we even awoke the next morning. We’ll definitely be back - it’s a beautiful house. Barry’s place was everything we hoped for and more. The house is spacious, spotless, and well-maintained, and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook like you’re at home. Kyle was a superstar host; friendly, incredibly communicative, and always one step ahead of our needs. Naz was equally awesome, greeting us with local tips that made our stay even better. And Barry himself was a breeze to coordinate with from the first message to checkout; fast replies and genuine care throughout. We can’t recommend Barry’s place enough!

Beautiful villa! Spent a few days here to celebrate my girlfriend’s 28th birthday and it was everything we could’ve imagined! The view is amazing, barbados is such a lovely place. Everyone is so kind and helpful. Thank you for helping me put together a personal chef for the birthday girl! The villa was so amazing we didn’t want to leave. Can’t wait to come back!

Regina was a fantastic host! The space was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable—exactly as described, if not better. She was warm, responsive, and made sure everything was perfect for my stay. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches and attention to detail. Absolutely Stunning Stay! This home was everything we hoped for and more! A beautiful contemporary house right on the ocean, offering breathtaking views and the soothing sound of the waves. The property is incredibly spacious, with a large, manicured yard and gardens that add to the serene and peaceful atmosphere. The pool was fantastic, and the entire place was spotless—super clean and tidy. The nights were magical, with a stunning night sky and the peaceful ambiance of the ocean. It’s a perfect getaway for those seeking tranquility, beauty, and comfort. One thing to note—it’s best to have your own transportation to fully enjoy the area. Highly recommend and would love to return!

We loved every moment of our stay at Bairds View Villa. It’s a perfect location on the west coast if you’re looking for a quieter stay, right between Speightstown and Holetown with a bus stop at the end of the road for easy travel. Thunder bay beach at the end of the road is beautiful and has great local food/drinks. We hired a car for half of our stay to help us get around the island and explore but if you’re just looking to go to Bridgetown or along the west coast a car is not a must have as the buses are frequent. Yunus was easy to contact prior to arrival and very responsive. John the villa manager was a wonderful host and so helpful, he had good recommendations prior to check in and offered to do grocery shopping for us at no extra cost which was a lovely gesture. We would recommend Bairds View to everyone and can’t wait to hopefully return one day in the future. Thanks so much for an amazing stay!

Had the most amazing stay. The location of the villa was 10/10. To wake up and hear the waves splashing was wonderful. Would highly recommend and would return. Xxx

My family and I had an amazing time at this house. Beautiful home in a beautiful area. First morning there were green monkeys in the back yard but they disappeared after that day. They were not aggressive and. it was cool for the kids to see them right in the back yard. Laundry facilities are great. Home is as described and so worth the money. Michael was always very responsive and even gave us a bit later check out since our flight was a bit delayed. Pool was fantastic and I would definitely stay there again. The bedrooms all have AC and ceiling fans downstairs but it was still very very hot during the days downstairs. One Ac unit in the tv room would help immensely. Other than that we all loved it. Mullins beach is a 10 minute drive away. Will definitely be back. Thanks Lee and Audrey and Michael for all your help.

I stayed with seven of my students and my colleague and it was perfect. We loved walking to the reef to do marine biology, going on the roof to star gaze and do math lessons, and the pool for the kids to unwind. I loved that the doors locked automatically so I didn’t have to worry about the kids each needing a key or forgetting to lock the doors. There was an area for us to gather as a group and the kitchen was large so more than one person could cook. Highly recommended

Helen’s place was absolutely beautiful and serene—exactly what we needed for a peaceful getaway. The lush gardens were stunning, the pool was perfect for cooling off, and to top it all off, we had playful monkeys hanging out nearby, which made the experience even more special. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing stay in Barbados.

We had a wonderful stay at Ruth's place! The property was beautiful- a brand new house with upgraded finishes and beautiful pool with a great outdoor living space. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed. Full laundry capability was helpful with young children. The AC kept the entire house cool when we needed it. This is important because Barbados is hot and humid even at nighttime. We appreciated the groceries that were provided on arrival, which is helpful after a flight when you are too tired to venture out to shop. Housekeeping was provided twice during the week and the pool was cleaned several times by staff when we were there. If we come back to Barbados, we would love to stay at Ruth's place again!

Absolutely fantastic. Location ideal for both Gibbes and Mullins beaches as well as Sea Shed and Larry’s restaurants. You’ll need a car for shopping with Jordans in Speightstown minutes away and has all the basics you’ll need to get going. Laura helped with a delivery from Massy so we had provisions on arrival. Paul on site to keep the pool pristine and help with any questions we had. Cannot recommend this place and the people who run it enough. If you stay here you won’t regret it.

We had a fantastic time at the Sweet Spot villa. Between the easy access to the beach and private pool, there was plenty to keep everyone entertained. The community is beautiful and there was ample space for our family of 11. It was also a huge plus to have bathrooms in each bedroom when getting ready each day. Todne was very helpful in getting our questions answered. Unfortunately, internet is spotty (which caused delays in communicating in general). It would have been helpful to have had some instructions regarding the house earlier (re: how to get ‘hot’ water, work the door locks, registering etc.) but we figured it out eventually. Overall, we had a wonderful time.

If you’re looking for a private quiet spacious space to relax, unwind and rest then Ridge View is perfect. Everything is just as described- From the view on the back veranda to bathing by the pool, doing our laundry under the sun, we had everything we needed and really felt at home and at peace. Mauva, who manages the villa, was always available and checked we were ok from time to time. The air fryer really came in handy too, but if you don’t feel like cooking there’s a place called the ocho ríos bullpen about 10min drive away- we LOVED their take on fish and chips! Would defo recommend and would defo stay here again. Thank you so much Sylvia & Mauva

The house was in a lovely location to experience the local culture. It is a friendly community of Vila’s with very friendly people. A short walk to the beach and a short drive to Batts Rock beach which is one of my favourite on the island. This villa is perfect to escape the high tourism of Holetown and Bridgetown.

The place is bigger than the pictures so much space inside and outside. Very peaceful and loves the sound of the sea at night. Would stay there again.

This is our second stay at Karen's place and we have absolutely loved it. It has felt like a home from home and we find the energy of the place so uplifting and so peaceful. This beautiful villa is a short walk away from breathtaking beaches, glorious sunsets and friendly bars. We truly wouldn't want to stay anywhere else and Karen is absolutely wonderful to communicate is; as is Crystal the villa's lovely agent. Thank you Karen for another unforgettable holiday xx

WOW what a wonderful 2 weeks we have spent in this amazing place. The house is surrounded by lush greenery. We saw families of monkeys and butterflies through the garden daily. Claudia the house keeper looked after us during our stay, she couldn’t do enough for us. Andrew was always available as and when we needed and he’s banana bread is superb. Thank you all for making our stay so special 🙂

We had a wonderful eight day stay. The Villa was perfect for our family of four and had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. David was very friendly and helpful. The property was beautiful and peaceful. The villa was even nicer than the pictures portrayed.

Green Monkey is an lovely, spacious well-equipped apartment and it is hard to find a more excellent location . The compound is very pretty and well-kept with a lovely pool and lots of greenery. Kerry was a wonderful host, communicating with us before and during to ensure everything was going well. Mullins is just footsteps away and such a lovely beach to spend the days on. We truly had one of the best vacations ever.

Wonderful place to stay. Fully stocked and the host was easy to reach. We will be back to the island again and this place felt like home. Great area and amenities.
