The cottage is an excellent place to stay for a visit to the Forest of Dean. Lots of walking routes straight from the cottage with no need to use the car. It is well equipped with everything you need for a perfect stay. The peace and quiet was lovely.

nice , quite little cottage greeted with goats and cows on way in that are free to walk around which we loved! the cottage was a lovely size with everything you needed for your stay. ! would defently stay again . 😀

The Stables was the perfect destination for a relaxing holiday away from the city. Yvonne was an excellent host who gave us some good recommendations for restaurants and left us some tasty scones as a welcome gift. The view from the place is stunning and we enjoyed eating outside watching the birds. The place was comfortable, the shower was hot and had good pressure and the kitchen had everything we needed. I'd thoroughly recommend this place and will hopefully come again in the future.
