Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Gainesville

Nothing but great things to say! Our host was super nice and responded quickly when we needed to communicate! The cabin is on the side of a mountain so you get beautiful views! With that being said I wouldn’t recommend driving at night if not used to driving mountain roads and the description of the road is accurate it’s a one way with some pull off areas for traversing. You don’t have to have 4 wheel drive during non winter season but there are people with cars that live there but we wouldn’t have felt comfortable to do that. The stairs to go up to the master bedroom are steep as she said but they have a non slip grip tape on each step and there are gates at every level for children/pets. The hot tub was so nice and was already up and running when we arrived. There were towels, dishes, some condiments, and a decent amount of kitchen utensils and such. Downtown blue ridge and ellijay are both pet friendly places! Amicalola state park is beautiful with an easy hike to the waterfall.

Beautiful spot! We didn’t want to leave! It was a wonderful few days relaxing and enjoying nature.

Your home is wonderfully appointed...you thought of everything! Clean and comfortable, and the porch fireplace was so relaxing to come back to each evening. Thank you for a lovely stay during our daughter's wedding week!

We enjoyed our time at the cute casita. It was very clean and homey. The backyard has lights that cast a cozy look over the back deck and yard at night. The house is not far from lots of restaurants and coffee shops and shopping. Beds are firmer and pillows a little flat, so if you prefer a more substantial pillow, bring one. It’s not a deal breaker. Snacks and Keurig cups are provided. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms. 😊 There is a lovely wooded area behind the backyard. Neighborhood is quiet. A desk in the second bedroom for working. This bedroom has a daybed with a trundle. The master bedroom has a queen. Hangers provided along with iron and ironing board. 😁 The kitchen appliances include fridge, stove, and microwave, but there is no dishwasher. We really enjoyed our time in this very clean house. 😊

We really enjoyed our stay! The home and surrounding area were both beautiful. Loved having a peaceful, private place and still being just a quick drive to so many places. Would recommend staying here if you are visiting anywhere in the area!

This mountain cabin rental was exactly as advertised. The description and photos matched the actual property. Brittany was terrific to deal with and was proactive in providing us with needed information in advance. This was a fun place to stay, and the lower level with pool, darts, other games, etc. was a nice way to spend a rainy evening. This was a good value and fair price for the property. Highly recommended.

Devin’s place is absolutely stunning! She left snacks for us humans and our pups, the decor was beautiful, and her place was clean. We felt right at home away from home and would recommend her place to anyone traveling to Gainesville.

Everything was immaculate and we had a wonderful stay. The only negative we could come up with was the hot water was less than desired.

Jonathan’s place is convenient, functional and well-stocked. I was recovering from surgery while I was there, and the first floor location and comfortable furnishings were just what I needed. Jonathan replied quickly to any questions. Would stay there again (although, next time preferably without the surgery!)

My initial inquiry with Jade was about proximity to the conference we were attending. From maps it seemed that we would be in very close walking distance. Better than that, we were a couple of blocks uphill from the conference. There is a Trader Joe’s across Peachtree and an Aldi’s down the street. But best of all! I texted Jade the first night of our stay inquiring about a wine bottle opener. He told us where to find it in the wet bar. It wasn’t there. I told him no worries we would buy one next day. Instead, he brought one, sat it outside the garage door, took a picture of the package, and sent it to me via the Airbnb app! We laughed so hard that he had gone out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. This was a great stay for us. All our needs were met. Oh, and transportation from the airport via Marta was efficient and inexpensive. We paid $2.50 each way. There was some walking involved with luggage, but we were capable of that. Thanks, Jade! Would stay here again!

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Teresa and Michael’s beautiful home for a weekend wedding at a nearby vineyard, and everything about our stay exceeded expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth by Teresa, Michael, and their adorable dog Jack! Their home is spacious, spotless, and full of charm. Every little detail has been thoughtfully considered, and we had everything we needed to feel completely at home. One of the highlights was the generous gift of fresh, free-range eggs from their hens — such a lovely touch! After the whirlwind of the wedding, we were so grateful to be able to unwind by their stunning pool area, especially since they kindly let us stay past checkout time (as no other guests were arriving that day). It was exactly the kind of peaceful, restorative moment we needed with our loved ones. Thank you, Teresa and Michael, for your hospitality, kindness and for making this weekend extra special for our entire family!

Prince was a great host. His penthouse was pristine, the view is AAAMAZING! Walking distance to several restaurants and attractions. Highly recommend, 10/10. Thanks for your attentiveness Prince!😊

Ms. Carla was a great host she went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Her apartment is exactly as described it was so beautiful. The kids loved the movie theatre. We had to stay here as our home was under construction and it was our home away from home. She was an amazing host and I would come back. I can not express enough how thankful I am for Ms. Carla.

The apartment looks just like the photos. Easy parking, comfy king bed, very clean, very fast Wifi, easy to work from home. It was situated perfectly between downtown and suburbs; which is exactly what we were looking for during our short stay.

Loads of character, bright and cheery. Host was super friendly and stocked the place with snacks and drinks. Very clean with plenty of towels and linens. Love all the farm animals. Great place to bring your dog with plenty space to roam.

Just a really wonderful cozy place and the host were just as amazing. I would highly recommend this five star accommodation.

We loved this little cabin so much. I am not exagerating when I say we honestly did not want to go back to our real home. Lol. We want to go back! There is so much more to do in the area that we did not get to do. The whole family enjoyed everything the cabin and location offered. Thank you!

This was my family's second time coming here! We felt right at home coming in. Such a great place for lots of people. Beds are very comfortable as well as the couches! Pool is fantastic and the pool bathroom is the perfect touch to not get water all over the house! Thomas is such a great responsive host and very easy to communicate with! I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. If we need to go back for another family event this will be our first choice!

This was a very nice place. My children had a wonderful time engaged in all the games they had. The space is lovely and accommodating and we will certainly return if in the area.

This is our second stay here and we loved it again! It’s an adorable space and the location on the river is so peaceful. Tons of hiking to explore nearby. Hosts were helpful and responsive. We’ll definitely be back!

Our family had a great time! We love the proximity to the square. The hosts were attentive and responsive with all inquires being answered in a matter of minutes.

Great and cute stay! Ac worked great and the location was easily accessible. Shower wipes were a nice bonus as there is no shower. I’d recommend bringing extra mosquito repellent if you are planning on being outside at all. We loved the extra entertainment pieces - board games, books, coloring stuff, and more. Highly recommend!

Great place for 1-2 people to stay in while visiting Dahlonega. We had everything we needed and more. The location is perfect as it's walking distance to everything you need. Also the bed was extremely comfortable! I would stay here again in the future!
