Holiday rentals with lake access in Gaienhofen

Honestly Claudia's place must be one of the best AirBnBs I've ever stayed in; perfectly proportioned, bed was magic, kitchen had just everything you'd need, garden was beautiful. Sitting area was perfectly cozy. Location-wise, it was without fault: gorgeous area, beautiful views, 3 very good restaurants within walking distance and a takeaway that did absolutely everything (even the pizza was great), and the village shop was fantastic. Claudia herself looked after us perfectly - great recommendations (especially Bad Saulgau and Bad Buchau - absolutely amazing) and I got to soak in my favourite hot frothy water in both locations. It feels like it's only half an hour from anywhere interesting (maybe a bit more for Friedrichshafen). Fantastic weather helped too, but it was amazing.

Had a very nice long weekend with 6 adults, 4 children and 2 infants. The host Julia is very friendly and accommodating, made us feel right at home. The house is just great and offers very good opportunities for families. Would love to come back!

With easy access and welcoming messages this characterful house was quickly home from home. The property is well maintained and furniture and fittings are of good quality..The kitchen is lovely and very well equipped. The location of the house is very convenient for public transport and easy walking distance to Lake Constance, a local well stocked supermarket and local bakery / cafe. As dog owners, the special welcome for our pet was much appreciated and the good sized well fenced garden was a great asset. The outside seating area was wonderful in the sunshine. Definitely a happy place to stay.

We had a great time staying at Eckharts place. The place was clean, spacious, and flooded with light, in a very peaceful neighbourhood with all stores in walkable distance. There’s a neighbour’s car that comes greeting in the garden every day, which is great. We had some funny scaredy cat moments as sometimes the ceiling was creaking mysteriously…. And at night the bed made mysterious sounds… but nothing too scary 😁 The host is very responsive and helpful. Thanks for having us!

We were very happy with our stay, everything was lovely and the hosts went above and beyond to make it a nice stay. Perfect for a small family and great location.

A wonderful house with veranda and seating, located directly on the lake shore with a swing; all around trees, reeds, birds, view of the water, access to the lake. Everything is available in the kitchen and bathroom. Despite the rainy weather, I found the surroundings and the view of the lake extremely attractive, I felt very comfortable in the house and the surroundings. I'd love to come back!

We had such a great time at the apartment. It was very well furnished with a pool table, darts, foosball, a trampoline, and also many toys and items for younger children’s if needed. The kitchen had all the dishes, silverware, cutlery, and items needed to cook at home if desired. The village was small, quiet, and very relaxing. There is a nice restaurant we tried on the lake front that was very good within walking distance. The lake is very close by, and we enjoyed walking the trails and paths in the area. I would highly recommend for your next stay.

The contact was very kind. André gave us great tips and clearly communicated. The house and especially the kitchen is well equipped! We were all very comfortable :)

We had very nice days in the "Seeschatz". The apartment was perfectly equipped, quiet and the swimming pool was great. We arrived by public transport and it was easily possible. The boat dock is minutes away. The children (1 and 4 years of age) loved the toys. Overall, we felt very comfortable.

Alexandra's place was very clean, nice, and walkable distance to restaurants and attractions. You have a nice view of the street from the window. We really enjoyed our stay! Thanks for hosting us. One thing to note is that there is no elevator and the unit is on the third/top floor.

Beautiful apartment with amazing lakeside views. Light and airy. Pretty garden. Very stylish but also practical and comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed and the sofa was huge in the sitting room space was great for relaxing. Bed big and comfy and nice linen with a choice of pillows. Great shower. Peppa also provided all the basics plus a surprise bottle of wine which was very much appreciated. Easy, pretty 10 min walk through the gardens into town. Also countryside with a pathway within 2 mins walks so giving the dogs a walk in the mornings before we set off to discover the area was so easy. Peppa is so friendly and helpful too - the perfect host.

The location of the apartment was awesome! Especially nice for children, as the playground is not too far away. We found the hosts very thoughtful and found the place clean. This has been renovated with a lot of love - great praise. In the bathroom we were missing a towel rack and a storage space for e.g. shower gel. Overall, we were very satisfied and can recommend the hosts with a clear conscience.

Dagmar & Stefan are two super likeable hosts. It was wonderful to stay at your place. We felt at home. The check-in is super easy, all the information you need on top of it a few cool tips for the area. Always accessible, responded directly. What more could you want. ✨ The apartment was super clean and generally a luxurious living as we like it. We will also not forget fantastic views of the lake and the beautiful sunsets. If you are very sensitive to noise, it is very quiet it is not through the restaurant below & also the street and ventilation pipes can be heard when you have the window open. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need in everyday life. Also great with the 2 car parks in the garage + elevator. It can't get any ✨ better park right outside the door and the supermarket is also less than 2 minutes away . Just great !

A very nice, spacious and sunny apartment! The location is very good, you can quickly reach the lake, or by bike/car in Konstanz or Stein am Rhein. Despite the direct proximity to the railway tracks, it is very quiet and the trains are very quiet. It didn't bother at all. The small balcony with beautiful views into the garden is really very cozy. All in all, we were very satisfied with Olesa's apartment, she was very friendly and the communication worked out very well. Highly recommend!

A beautiful apartment, great location and felt like a haven. Tastefully decorated, quiet even though on a main road, modern with the most perfect reading spot overlooking the park to the lake! Thank you Leonie for this wonderful home you have - we loved our stay!
