Family-friendly holiday rentals in Franklin County

Overall great stay. Loved the hot tub and the neighborhood. Unfortunately, the thermostat was locked up and it was a cold weekend, so the house was freezing. Also advertised a coffee maker, which was there but no coffee pot. If you bring your own k cups there is a keurig though! Lots of clear instructions throughout the house and easy check in and check out.

Leslie and Chris' home was amazing. Everything from the house decor to the beautiful landscaped outdoors, you felt like you escaped somewhere magical. The home is packed with everything you would need or want -- games for the kids, extra towels, each and ever bbq utensil you'd need. We made use of so many wonderful amenities - the wood fired sauna, the pizza oven, the grill and more. What really made this place special was Leslie and Chris' hospitality -- from the welcome basket to the routine check-ins. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt as comfortable as possible.

Absolutely gorgeous and felt right at home from the minute we stepped on the porch. Ona made us feel so welcome with thoughtful touches. Incredible place for some badly need R&R. Thank you for sharing.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay. Our dog immediately fell in love with the space both inside and out. It was great to have a place to stay with our dog where we didn't have to worry about others around (our dog is a bit reactive to other people), and we could easily go outside and immerse ourselves in quiet, peaceful nature. We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely have to consider staying again if we come back up to visit the Adirondacks in the future!

This was a great spacious space. Right on the lake. Everything was lovely would definitely stay again. The only issue was there’s a pizza parlor above and there is some noise from there, but it wasn’t really much of a distraction.

Beautiful town home in a peaceful community! The town home was clean, comfortable, fully supplied and had plenty of room for a family of 10. Amenities were all worth staying in this community. The little private beach was lovely. The kayaks and paddle boats were fun! The golf course is amazing! Lake Placid Village was a short drive from her as well as the public beach. The town home owner is very responsive and helpful. She requests that there are no outside activities after 9:00pm. We were unable to be outside on the deck or use the hot tub after this time. The fire pit is shared with the adjacent townhome and is in a small area next to the creek behind the town house. It is not wood burning. Overall it was a beautiful place to stay and we had a wonderful vacation!

House is well taken care of inside and out. Tucked back a bit with lots of privacy to enjoy the surrounding nature. Would recommend.

This is a 10 out of 10 review. Could not recommend more. The guests in my party complained about cleanliness between couch cushions, windowsills, and under furniture. Note, this is not on Mea or Ann. The towels, bathrooms and bedding were great. Kitchen fully equipped. Hot tub was perfect after skiing. Kids were having ping pong tournaments all night . Bring your party here.

A hiker’s dream. The perfect reprieve nestled in the heart of Saranac lake. Joanne’s cabin was the perfect location to tackle the Saranac 6 Ultra hiking challenge. With 6 mountains across 5 different locations in saranac lake, we were able to stop at the cabin 2 times to change clothes, eat & restock supplies. The blackout curtains in the bedrooms were also greatly appreciated as we were able to go to bed very early the day before for a 1:30 am wake up. The house was very clean and cute. The laundry room was convenient to wash dirty clothes. The showers were glorious after 17 hours of hiking. Joanne was a kind & responsive host. I would stay here again with my family or friends.

Joe’s Cabin was a perfect space for our family! Long driveway was perfect for sledding with our 3 year old, we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere yet so close to the main street in lake placid. Skiing was great and not a far drive from whiteface either. Amazing views out of the living room windows of the mountains in the distance. Snowed every day we were there and there was a snowplow that always made his way down the road and driveway. Joe was a great host and very accommodating. Loved being able to bring our dog with us as well!

A home away from home for all your ADK adventures.

Reinaldo is such an awesome host! So accommodating for me and my group and the air bbb itself was awesome especially for price!

Conveniently located to downtown and Lake Placid attractions. Large fenced in yard perfect for our dog. Although the location is on a somewhat busy road, the cottage is tucked away several hundred feet away in a quiet, private yard. Very unique design touches in the cottage including a vaulted ceiling with fan and comfortable king size bed.

This Airbnb was the perfect spot for our long weekend stay with our dogs and we will certainly be staying here again on our future ADK trips! It is a quick drive into Lake Placid and especially convenient if you are hiking any of the high peaks from the Adirondack Loj (less than a 10 minute drive away). The house is stocked with anything you could possibly need and was spotless.

We had a lovely stay at Michael's cabin. It was very comfortable, had a great deck, and was quiet and private. It was a 5-minute walk to launch our kayaks for paddling, there were several hikes within 30 minutes, and we enjoyed exploring the area. Overall, it's a beautiful spot and an enjoyable place to spend a vacation.

Great experience, loved cross country skiing so conveniently located out the door.

Great location from the town, and from nearby trails. Very clean place and easy to check in. Nice to have a fenced in yard for the dog and hot tub amenities.

The condo was great! We stayed for a ski weekend and enjoyed the beautiful view of mirror lake, access to the indoor pool and hot tub and easy walk to shops.

Timmothy was very easy to work with and enjoyed our stay! Whiteface lodge has everything you need and close to town.

We loved our stay here and would love to stay here again! Great room, beautiful lodge, and lots of amenities. The room and building looked just like the pictures! Timothy was very kind and responded quickly to my messages.

5 Star accommodations in every sense! So much to offer in one place. The view from living room at night looked like the scene from a movie. Everything was perfect! Will definitely stay here again!

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Whiteface Lodge and found it to be the perfect destination for a family winter getaway. The lodge itself was inviting and cozy, and Timothy’s suite was very comfortable. We loved all of the onsite activities and amenities, as well as the lodge’s proximity to town, the mountain, and all of the Olympic facilities. Can’t wait to hopefully return with our family next year!

Great set up within Whiteface Lodge with full access to the resort and amenities. The full 3 bedrooms and baths was so nice for our family.
