Cabin holiday rentals in Franklin County

Very nice private place to stay. Friends and I enjoyed it a lot.

Been staying at various places in Lake Placid over the years. We had 6 adults and 2 infants. The place was exactly what I was looking for. It was cold outside and staying in the house for an entire day was very relaxing and comfortable. The fireplace was amazing! The hot tub was also a plus! Kitchen was well stocked and we were cooking daily! We had a good laugh guessing how many “bear” items were in the house. I challenge all future guests to take a guess. Make sure to include all bedrooms and bathrooms =) All in, it is a great place for family and friends to stay, we look forward to coming back in the future.

One word: amazing. This rental was unlike any other stay that I’ve booked, and I’ve stayed at a lot of places. An amazing and luxurious cabin in one of the most underrated areas in New York. From start to finish, Kathryn was available to aid with any issues, providing clear instructions and recommendations for what to do. The rental was maintained, well furnished, and provided so many views of the nearby mountains and trees, although there were a lot of dead and alive insects in the cabin, so do be aware of that. Sometimes I felt like just staying at the cabin rather than exploring (what I came to do, haha). I can say for sure this is one rental I hope to book again in the future. Thank you Kathryn

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay. Our dog immediately fell in love with the space both inside and out. It was great to have a place to stay with our dog where we didn't have to worry about others around (our dog is a bit reactive to other people), and we could easily go outside and immerse ourselves in quiet, peaceful nature. We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely have to consider staying again if we come back up to visit the Adirondacks in the future!

Just Book this place! My review follows all the past positive reviews. This place is awesome for a winter hangout with all the privacy you want and a short scenic drive to Lake Placid. The views from the front deck are beautiful and the hot tub on the back deck is a great place to unwind after a playful day in the snow. So - just book this place if you are into enjoying life in the Adirondack Mountains. Thanks Richard & Jocelyn!

Great house at a great location. House was nice and warm despite the 0 degree weather with high winds. Driveway was maintained clear during 15” of snow. Great sledding on the property, ice fishing on the lake and cross country skiing on the rail trail that passes the house. Main floor and upper floor were great, lower level needs some TLC and the two lower level beds were very uncomfortable. No problem with the rest of the rooms. Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of room to gather on the main floor. Could use a larger table, plenty of room in the house for our group of 13 but not a big enough table for us to all eat at together (kitchen island provided most of the needed extra spots). Overall a great place at a great location.

Wonderful stay at white pine camp. The house is so much better than the photos, space is clean and clutter free. Photos make the camp look way more dated than it is. Very spacious. Could not find anything to complain about definitely looking forward to returning in the future

I have been coming up to the area since I was young, but it was my wife’s first trip to the Adirondacks. I wanted to show my wife all of the special places my dad took me when i was little. I managed to show her some of the other spots before we checked in, and I’m glad I did, because once we arrived at the air bnb, we were home. It took little time to realize that we were spending the entire trip on the lake and at the camp. To try to put it in perspective, we woke up each morning while it was still dark to make sure we could watch the sun rise above the lake each morning (and get some prime fishing time in). The cabin itself is well maintained, and very charming. Ona was very responsive and an excellent host. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time at 3 Birches. I hope to return! We enjoyed so many local hikes, as well as walking on the nearby trail and kayaking. The house was so comfortable, and the neighborhood quiet except for the birds. Thanks!

This was a wonderful place to stay. It was private and right on the river. There were trails through the woods and our dog enjoyed them. We saw various wildlife. It was close to family that we were visiting and just a few miles outside of town, very convenient location. I do not fly fish but the cabin had everything that would be needed to make your own lures. We checked in on Saturday and after a day or two, Timothy checked in with us through the app to make sure everything was going well and was satisfactory. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay! What a gorgeous location on Kiwassa Lake. Felt very remote, yet it was just a quick drive to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. The cabin was lovely and cozy, with a great living room for hanging out when it rained and snowed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook - though it’s a tiny space. However even it had a great view of the lake. Loved the private dock with Adirondack chairs. Great for the sunset view and bird watching.

We had a lovely stay at Aileen’s. The cottage is waterfront, so we were easily able to launch our SUP, and we really enjoyed sitting on the porch with lake views.

This cabin is in the perfect location.. private and peaceful. We had a wonderful time ice fishing on the lake right outside the cabin. The house had everything you could want and was super cozy with the fireplace. We’ll be back for sure!

Billy's cabin is an amazing place nestled in Middle Saranac Lake! We loved the peacfullness of the wilderness, the view of the lake, the clarity of the night sky, and the loon population! The boat access-only cabin overlooks the lake with a large deck to enjoy incredible ADK views. Around camp there is a fire pit overlooking the lake, a few small watercrafts, an outhouse, and a dock where we parked our small fishing boat with an outboard motor. In the cabin there is a kitchen, sitting area, main bedroom, full bathroom, and a lofted sleeping area. The cabin operates off-grid, but Billy has a clear manual that covers everything you need (hot water/shower included!). We loved it and will be back again!

Our stay at Claude’s cottage on Loon Lake was absolutely amazing! The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully decorated with rustic charm. The beds were very comfortable, and the fully equipped kitchen and bathroom made us feel right at home. We especially loved spending time on the lake with the included boats and relaxing by the fire pit in the evenings. What truly set this experience apart was Claude’s exceptional hospitality. When a few unexpected hiccups came up in our trip, Claude went above and beyond to help—he graciously let us arrive a day early, quickly fixed an issue with the stove, and was always fast to respond to any questions we had. He even brought us a bottle of wine to help brighten our stay, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Claude clearly cares deeply about his guests and the experience he provides. We felt incredibly well taken care of and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend!

my languages are weak in describing Pam's cozy cabin along the lake, it is right on the beach, yes you hear it right, there is a sand beach made along the lake, not sure how the host managed to do this, however too much fun along the lake side watching the foliage across the lake from sunrise to sunset with your loved ones beside a firepit; Pam is such a kind and great host always responsive to my questions even accommodating my request to check out a bit late due to a global VTC meeting assignment, very much appreciated on my wide, will recommend to friends for sure :)

Had a wonderful week here. hiking, kayaking, taking our boat around Oseetah, Kiwassa, Lower Saranac, Lake Flower.. Easy to get to? well, Sherry made it easy the first time, and we handled it after that.

The cabin was beautiful and perfectly rustic. The setting was gorgeous for the fall and the property and trails were fun to explore. It would’ve been nice to take a hot shower after we climbed Cascade Mountain, but the portable heaters that were provided along with a big, cozy fire in the fireplace warmed us up. It snowed this morning before we left and it was a perfect way to end our short visit!

Todds place was awesome, we had a great stay! Cute little cozy cabin with a fire pit in the backyard, perfect for a couples weekend away & a great location! About 10 minutes to lake placid and very close to stores / gas stations if needed

Great place to stay. It's our favorite airbnb we've stayed at so far. It's simple, quiet, private, and very clean.

Amazing host, I had to book the cabane for a friend that was travelling the area. He was there for him, even went the extra mile of showing him around in his car. Very courteous and friendly. The Cabane was neat, clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend this place. Thanks Robby
