Beachfront holiday rentals in Franklin County

This was the perfect place for my friend and I to stay for our girl's weekend. The place was warm and welcoming and it is central to almost everything. I would definitely stay here again!

I have been coming up to the area since I was young, but it was my wife’s first trip to the Adirondacks. I wanted to show my wife all of the special places my dad took me when i was little. I managed to show her some of the other spots before we checked in, and I’m glad I did, because once we arrived at the air bnb, we were home. It took little time to realize that we were spending the entire trip on the lake and at the camp. To try to put it in perspective, we woke up each morning while it was still dark to make sure we could watch the sun rise above the lake each morning (and get some prime fishing time in). The cabin itself is well maintained, and very charming. Ona was very responsive and an excellent host. Highly recommend!

this is a great Adirondack experience. we saw a porcupine and caught plenty of perch and fried them over the fire it was great! It is a great place for swimming and fishing. the children did a littleswimming but it was a littlecool for that in September. If you want a rustic experience without all the modern luxuries this is definitely for you.

The place was very nice. A couple issues but we got around them. Was only there for one night but it was nice.

This cabin was perfect. The charm of an old cabin in the woods with all the conveniences of a modern home. Everything was super clean. The location was awesome and included a boat we used for fishing and every water toy you can imagine. Our host was a wonderful person who went out of her way to assure our stay went off with any problems. We love you Ingrid.

This place is the perfect cozy cabin get away! It's secluded enough that you have privacy and feel as if your nestled in the woods and your close to everything. We will be back!

This cabin is in the perfect location.. private and peaceful. We had a wonderful time ice fishing on the lake right outside the cabin. The house had everything you could want and was super cozy with the fireplace. We’ll be back for sure!

Skyward’s Oak Cabin was beautiful- we were blown away by the serene surroundings, how easy the check in and check out process was, the cleanliness and coziness of the cabin, and the proximity to hiking trails & other activities. We were greeted with a complimentary charcuterie board and IPL beer. We ordered dinner in from the restaurant on the property (not the best food but was okay) and in the morning we used the free paddleboards and Kayaks on the lake. There was also a volleyball net and and fire pit with things to make s’mores. The only thing we didn’t love was that we contacted the host to see if we could check in early but i never heard bank. Overall we couldn’t have been happier!

Randomly found this and absolutely fell in love. The view, the cabin, the beach, the fire pit, all exceeded expectations. Will definitely be returning

So comfortable. Excellent mattress in master bedroom. Clean and quiet. Kitchen was really well stocked. Very easy and enjoyable stay minutes from town and easy to get to. Thanks you! Rudy was very responsive which is always nice.

Me and my friends attended a bachelor party here. We had a phenomenal time. This place has sensational views, great trails, great fishing, the local town is truly beautiful. The location is private quiet and a great place to relax. I highly recommend!

Stay was exactly as expected. Very quiet and peaceful setting. I spent time in that area as a young adult so, I knew what to expect. The only thing we’d say is at that price point, it needs some upgrades. Like a new gas stove and either a coffee press, Keurig, or an ADC. Other than that, the Stay is great!

This is our second visit to The Whiteface Lodge, we always staying there! Erin’s place was a cozy corner room with amazing natural light, and lovely views of the trees. The staff at the Lodge are always friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be back!

Six adults stayed here over Winter Carnival Parade weekend in February 2025, and the space was perfect for three couples. The layout is well-designed, with bedrooms situated on different levels for added privacy. The master suite, located upstairs, features its own full bathroom, while the lower level has two additional bedrooms—one with a queen bed and another with a bunk bed—along with another full bathroom. Each bedroom has a closet, providing ample storage. A convenient half bath is located on the main floor, just inside the front door. The gathering space is cozy and inviting, with plenty of comfortable seating for everyone. The fireplace adds a warm touch, especially on chilly winter nights. One suggestion for winter stays: it would be helpful to have a shovel available in the unit or on the porch to clear snow off the steps., as they can become quite slippery. Although we notified the owner, this remained an issue throughout our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful surroundings and plentiful amenities!

My wife and I just spent one of the more enjoyable weeks in our long history of visits to the Adirondacks. Jerry and Linda’s log cabin on Middle Saranac Lake is, quite simply, a treasure. Awesome location right on shoreline. Very nice man (Dan) motored us across the lake. Rustic but very comfortable. Spectacular views. Great kitchen. Comfortable bedding. Propane lighting throughout. Weber grill on porch. Two kayaks and one canoe included. Aluminum boat (also included) with electric start Honda was perfect. Lots of tiny islands nearby. Hot (very!) shower, flush toilet. Swimming right from dock. Sandy beach close by. Sunsets, sunrises, total peace and serenity. Just what we were hoping for. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. You will too! David and Debbie B

Great townhouse perfect for a week away with a group. Kitchen had all the essentials for cooking meals, comfortable beds great views of the lake. We enjoyed the communal campfire in the evenings.

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Heath Camp. There was plenty of room for the 16 of us. The large porches made it possible to be outside even when it was raining. There is a nice assortment of boats and kayaks on the beach so we didn't need to bring ours along. The updated kitchen is large and well stocked. The only downside to the location were the biting flies that pestered us near the water! But, there is nothing Karen could do about that. This is a great place to have a large gathering!

We enjoyed the fact that it sat back off the road, behind another cabin, and had plenty of parking. The surroundings are great for an evening walk.

The photos do not accurately capture how pretty this place is. The home is thoughtfully and stylishly decorated, the beds are very comfortable, and the screened in porch is lovely! We had a wonderful time on Loon Lake and especially enjoyed the canoe and kayaks. There are no homes directly across the lake, and there is a lot of greenery on either side of the home. So the place feels very private. We had a minor issue during our stay, but Mary communicates efficiently and the issue was resolved satisfactorily. We would definitely consider booking this place again!

This is the perfect spot for a family get away. Everyone felt right at home- even kids and dogs :). The weather when we were there was Adirondack "unsettled" but the house had great space for playing with the kids, rocking on the awesome porch swing and, even in the rain, a safe private road for walking. Bob was super responsive with communication and questions. The house is super close to Saranac, Placid, hikes and paddles- if it wasnt " the days of covid" we would have spent time wondering more for sure.

Great little townhouse on the lake. Finding the place was a little bit difficult with all the snow, but it wasn’t too bad. No issues

This is our third stay at Ampersand Bay, all were fantastic. They let us check in early and the place was just as described. We will be back Memorial Day weekend to enjoy another stay.
