We had such a wonderful stay at this cozy barn in Roblin! It’s a beautiful, peaceful spot , the perfect getaway to relax and unwind. I brought my partner here for her birthday, and she absolutely loved it! The barn has a charming and comfortable vibe, and it was the ideal location since it’s only about an hour away from the 1000 Islands Rockport Cruise. It made for a memorable and scenic get away. Highly recommend this spot for couples looking for a romantic escape!

We booked this place for a family gathering and we loved it! The house is spacious and very well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed. The rooms are spacious and clean and so are the bathrooms. I’d strongly recommend water shoes if you want to go into the water, we did not have them and did not want to take the risk with the younger kids. Peter is an amazing host, gives very clear instructions and is very flexible and understanding. I definitely recommend this place.

I stayed in the bunkie for 5 weeks. I had a very wonderful and peaceful time . The hosts went over and above to ensure my comfort and enjoyment. The surrounding area is very quaint, lovely and historical. A gem for the region.

For anyone who believes that living off the grid is impossible or not practical I would be interested in knowing how you feel after staying here. The silo is functional, spacious and quiet. The outside kitchen and lounge are where the relaxation, meals, laughter and memories are made. The "city" dogs had a great time exploring and hearing animal sounds that only echo in the county. (iykyk) The "city" humans are well rested and at peace. Life is just better after staying at The Silo. Try it. I dare you.
