Beautiful little cottage tucked away but close to the village. Garden was perfect for me and my dog. The steep hill up to the garden didn’t phase us as the view was worth it with open fields and horses behind. Vanessa and Bruce were very responsive and friendly, they kindly accepted my booking on short notice. I didn’t want to leave! Would happily stay again.

A lovely relaxing stay here, we were staying for a nearby wedding which was in walking distance so very handy! The cabin was very comfortable and spacious, and had everything we could need for our stay. Very peaceful and beautiful surroundings too!

Words do not describe what a beautiful place this is and what lovely human beings Jackie and Robert are. They have created something very special .Not stayed anywhere so peaceful and yet including an abundance of wildlife including the resident hens, doves, sheep, calves , pony. From the moment we arrived we were made so welcome and were left some home made cake. Robert gave us a tour of the small holding , their history with it and showed us the animals, they make it clear that if you want to be left alone they are more than happy to leave you to it. The breakfast was five star , freshly made apple juice , home grown fruit , home baked bread , cereals tea ,coffee. Hot shower , helpful advice on places to visit and eat and a very accurate sheet to walk to the village. We hoped to see the local barn owl and our wish came true when we saw not one but two of them flying across the fields looking for food . Not enough space on review to give it the true credit, hope to visit again.
