Holiday rentals with a pool in Florence

My wife and I stayed at Marco’s for a week for our honeymoon. We both loved it. Pool was beautiful and peaceful. The property is fantastic the pictures don’t do it justice. As amazing as it looks in the photos it is 1000 times better in person. The front gate made everything feel so secure. Walking up the steps to the guest house we were hit with a nice floral smell with all the daisies growing everywhere. Such a peaceful and beautiful property. The view was stunning looking over the mountains. The place was perfect. The kitchen was everything we needed and more, the pull out couch allowed us to relax and watch tv at the end of the night. The patios were perfect for coffees and meals. And the bed was nice and comfortable. Marco left a flower pedal heart on the bed for us which was a nice personal touch. We met his parents (who stay in the main house) they were very kind and gave us our privacy. There was lots of information about the area and things to do. Wish we stayed longer

Miruna hat uns herzlich empfangen und direkt vor Ort alles gezeigt. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und schön angelegt. Das absolute Highlight ist der traumhafte Blick von der schönen Terrasse. Der Pool ist schön groß, toll angelegt, dort lässt es sich gut aushalten. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, urig, zum wohlfühlen. Besonders war, dass wirklich alle Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs, wie Kaffee, Süßigkeiten, Nudeln, Wein, Öl, Duschbad, Pflaster etc. vorhanden waren. Die Lage ist für Tagesausflüge ebenfalls sehr gut. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit, danke dafür.

We had a truly wonderful stay – for all five of us! The house and the outdoor area were absolutely beautiful, even better than in the pictures. Everything was spotless, charming, well maintained, and well equipped. The garden was stunning, and the whole place felt peaceful and private. Ilaria and Francesco were the kindest hosts – helpful, responsive, and incredibly welcoming. We’re already thinking about coming back for a summer holiday (the pool and AC are perfect!). Great location for day trips to Pisa and Florence, and there are lovely restaurants nearby. It was an amazing birthday trip and really good value. Everything was absolutely perfect! ⭐️ Location: Ideal base for exploring Tuscany — you’re right in the heart of it all. Whether you’re heading to Florence, Pisa, or the charming hill towns, everything is within easy reach. House: Well-equipped and comfortable, with all the listed amenities in perfect working order. After long days of sightseeing, the pool was a refreshing retreat. The panoramic view over the valley is truly breathtaking. Host: Lorenzo is an outstanding host — friendly, responsive, and fluent in English. He was proactive and helpful throughout our stay. The house includes a detailed guidebook he created with handpicked recommendations for local shops, markets, restaurants, farms, and sights. It made planning our days effortless. Bottom line: If this listing is available — don’t hesitate. Book it. 10/10 would recommend!

How can we even put into words what an incredible experience this was! Antonella was kind and helpful, and her home is just stunning. She made us feel so at home even with our limited Italian. She prepared us a home cooked, four-course meal one night and it was absolutely delicious. She even gave us the leftovers so we could have them for breakfast the next day. The villa was breathtaking and in a perfect location to visit beautiful towns in Tuscany like Pienza, Montepulciano and San Gimignano. We especially loved the pool and visiting with the animals. This was a bucket list stay for us and worth every penny!

Die Unterkunft ist perfekt für erholsame Tage in der Toscana. Sehr ruhige Lage mit wundervoller Aussicht. Florenz ist in wenigen Autominuten erreichbar. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und stehts erreichbar bei Fragen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

We stayed 5 amazing days at Il Gufo and loved every minute. Jacopo is an amazing host and went out of his way throughout to make our stay great. Even meeting us locally and showing us the way to the house. We highly recommend staying at The Owl. The location, high in a valley provides spectacular views and is perfect to relax and unwind. We do not know what was better. The location, accommodations or the fact that we met Jacopo and became immediate friends. That combination made for the greatest memories. Also Luba, their beautiful dog, immediately loved us and greeted us ever time we returned. A little secret, he is an amazing chef and if you get a chance to go to his restaurant do it. Also his dinner recommendations were great. We had dinner at Corte Dei Frati 2 times. Thank you Jacopo for making our 30th Anniversary trip so amazing. We feel privileged to have met you and we will return on our next trip to Italy. You are an amazing person and host. Love Steve & Vicki

This is such a lovely place to stay. I was so happy to look at the surroundings with breathtaking views and the tranquility ( besides the fogs ) makes this place a paradise . The house was very spacious and confortable . The jacuzzi is really a plus and the swimming pool perfect . Francesco and Serena were so helpful to find activities for our family . The communication was great . I really recommend this place … soooo beautiful !

Een aanrader voor diegene die Toscane willen voelen met de sfeer van Florence in de buurt. Een mini dorpje en heel privé, rustig met een prachtig uitzicht op de heuvels en Florence. De locale restaurants maken heerlijk eten en zijn echt gezellig. Paola en haar collega zijn enthousiast en verwelkomde ons heel hartelijk. Ik was zelf nu voor de 10e keer in Florence voor werk en altijd in de stad verbleven, dit was anders en heerlijk. De locatie zelf is heel mooi onderhouden, authentiek en zeer sfeervol. Well done! Mijn complimenten voor het geheel.

Lovely stay in this rural location. Comfortable, scenic, friendly hosts! Nice pool!! Clean and everything we needed! Massimo made us feel as comfortable as possible down to the details!! We loved Iris the dog too (and we think she loved us!) Recommend the meal which helped make my wife’s birthday very special.

a charming little studio in the heart of Tuscany. great pool, beautiful skyline view of Florence and responsive + helpful host. if you're not too fussed about staying in the crowded city centre, this little gem will welcome you with open arms, green grass, blue sky and Tuscan trees galore. Also free parking! so just come with a car and you'll be at ease to go around.

We hebben heerlijk genoten van de tuin die verrassend groot was! Af en toe loopt er iemand langs maar kijken niet direct de tuin in. Gezellige diertjes die af en toe even aan komen lopen. Daarbij was het huisje van alle gemakken voorzien, een bed die top slaapt en het meest mooie uitzicht ooit! 🤍 Monica is echt de liefste vrouw, die je warm welkom heet en het verblijf eerst even laat zien! Dankjewel en we komen zeker nog eens terug!

Die Wohnung hat unsere Erwartungen voll und ganz erfüllt! Sie ist wirklich schön eingerichtet und hat einen gewissen Altbaucharme :) Jonathan ist ein super lieber Vermieter, er hat uns tolle Tipps gegeben und die Kommunikation lief immer reibungslos. Der Pool ist an heißen Tagen ein besonderes Extra und auch die Nachbarn, mit denen man sich den Pool teilt, sind sehr freundlich und lieb! Wir würden jederzeit wieder hierhin kommen :)

We have just returned from a great holiday in Tuscany. Our first visit to the area. Eleanors place was as described, was clean and comfortable and has been the perfect base for what we had planned, visiting Florence, Sienna and other villages in the area. We hired a car from the airport and the directions to the property were good. We had good communication with Eleanor from booking to arrival and during our stay. The property is sitiated within a family owned olive grove with lovely views from the estate over Florence and the surrounding area. We would recommend this property to family and friends. Thank you

We had a really great time here! The location is absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. The Airbnb itself is clean, stylish, and well-maintained. The pool is definitely a highlight—such a lovely spot to relax. One downside was not being allowed to eat or drink by the pool, which meant walking up and down the hill every time we wanted a snack or drink. A bit more leniency on that rule would definitely improve the experience. That said, the host Luca was incredibly responsive and helpful. He and his son made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. Overall, it's a wonderful place, and we highly recommend it. Thank you, Luca!

Amazing home with a stunning view of Florence. Raffaella provided clear instructions on how to get to her house and even left us taped notes at the entrance so we wouldn't get lost on our arrival day. We stayed a total of 9 nights with two adults and two kids under ten and enjoyed every minute of it—the private pool, the stunning view, and the private backyard were all more than we asked for. Highly recommend.

Incredible host. Incredible house. You feel like you are inside a postcard. The most beautiful views are all around you. We did not want to leave. Just breathtaking.

This 500 year old house is ideally situated in Tuscany and the Chianti region. It is a perfect place for day trips to other towns, for wine, tasting excursions, and for visiting Florence. The idyllic setting gives you a sense of country life in Italy, and the views from the patio and house are stunning. There are spectacular wineries within 5 to 10 minutes of the house. We found the house very comfortable and enjoyed our stay very very much. Rose and Pier couldn’t have been more helpful in planning our stay and excursions. We found through them fabulous restaurants, and wineries that we would not have discovered on our own. They were also incredibly responsive when we had questions. Our only confusion about the house was that the listing showed three bathrooms, but one was in the laundry room in a separate building . Just something to know. Thank you to Rose for a lovely vacation ! It was the perfect place to explore Tuscany from!

We can't imagine a more beautiful place to stay while we visited Chianti! The location is absolutely heavenly, and Emanuela's home is stunning. Everything was so comfortable, and our family particularly loved spending time outside and enjoying the pool. It's conveniently located for several Tuscan day trips, and there are many amazing wineries nearby. And the icing on the cake were Emanuela and Giovanni, who went above and beyond in helping us throughout our trip - from recommendations and help with reservations to having a few food items and coffee stocked for our first day's breakfast. Easily the best hosts we've ever enjoyed in our years staying in Airbnbs!

This is a wonderful setting: absolutely beautiful gardens full of roses (in May), stunning views, lots of sunny terraces and places to sit, and a lovely pool. The house itself is very well-equipped, and attractively furnished with antiques, and comfortable beds. The kitchen has everything you could need. There are great places in easy reach, including Certaldo (take the funicular up, and we recommend the Fonte Antica restaurant), San Gimignano with its towers and allegedly the best ice cream in the world, and Colle Val d'Elsa. There is good train access from Castelfiorentino station to Siena, Florence. Arianna our host was very welcoming and helpful, and lives nearby for any queries. If en suite bathrooms are your thing (we don't particularly care), you might find the arrangements of bedrooms and bathrooms a bit unusual; only the room with two single beds is truly en suite, and the bedrooms in the basement share a bathroom with no door between the two bedrooms. But not a problem for us

Wir (7 Freundinnen) haben den Aufenthalt in der Villa sehr genossen! Das Haus, vor allem der Vorgarten und der Pool, sind wunderbar. Maria ist super! Sie hat uns sehr viele Tipps zur Umgebung zugesendet (auch die notwendigen Sachen, wie Einkaufsmöglichkeiten). Zudem wurden wir mit einem sehr feinen Kuchen überrascht und wenn man etwas brauchte, kam sehr schnell eine Antwort. Die Villa ist gut ausgestattet und die Umgebung wunderschön. Parkplätze hat es genügend. Einzig die Schlaglöcher und der Zugang zur Villa sind etwas herausfordernd - jedoch machbar!

We stayed in the villa for 3 weeks with my family (2 young kids) and it was absolutely perfect!!! Francesca was an incredible host, fantastic communication. The house itself was beautiful, clean and the pool was just magic. Close to Florence and all the wonderful towns nearby, we can’t recommend this place enough. Would stay again without hesitation.

Stunning home in the middle of a lovely vineyard (Probably one of the best homes on AirBnB). It's even more beautiful in person - full of art, thoughtful design/luxury finishes, and Tuscan charm. Highly reccomend!!
