House holiday rentals in Flat Rock

Our family felt right at home at Michael's A-frame. My husband commented that it felt as though we had stayed there before, and it really had. It has every amenity and creature comfort you could want or need, including a nicely stocked spice cabinet, plenty of linens, board games and puzzles, and a place to do laundry. Michael was friendly and helpful. Our family had an awesome time, and we hope to be back to enjoy the property in the summer months!

Amanda was an amazing host! She was super helpful with sending recommendations before our trip, and was on top of responses while we were there. She was more than happy to accommodate our needs.

Wow this place was absolutely amazing the pool and the hot tub were definitely the highlight of the stay but the house was also very homey and clean and it’s was a fun time

It was lovely, the communications with the manager were perfect and we enjoyed our stay there very much. Linens could use a little refreshing, however.

Our family is huge so it’s really hard to find a house large enough to host all of us. Daniel’s house was GORGEOUS and so spacious, the photos did not do this place justice. The upstairs was beautiful with large windows that let natural light in. We did encounter a mama bear and her baby, but Daniel warned us every day during our stay to keep trash in and be aware of the bears. We were secured inside the house and got to watch through the windows. It was an amazing experience for the kids. The golf cart was a game changer. We didn’t have to move our vehicles a lot. The amenities were perfect for us and the kids. Two pools, mini golf, and pickleball was all we needed to stay busy the entire weekend. Lake Lure was closed, but that was told to us weeks before the trip. We will definitely come back when Lake Lure opens. 10/10 vacation!!!!!!

We have stayed at a lot of airbnb homes and this was by far the cleanest! The screened in porch was so relaxing, especially during a rain storm. We even saw a double rainbow! The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed! Great host, beautiful home, and beautifully landscaped yard! We had a great time.

It was cloudy and rainy most of our stay but it didn't matter. The house is so big and very comfortable. The indoor pool was wonderful. (They are very strict about kids not being allowed in the hot tub though.) We were able to use all of the outdoor amenities, too. The house is charming! The kitchen was well stocked. The kids loved the room with the bunk beds and being able to play with the balls on the pool table. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Absolutely loved our stay! The drive definitely needs the 4WD that they recommended but only in certain minor bits and pieces on the way up. Very top of the mountain and the views were spectacular! Also the therapeutic bed was an awesome surprise!

Great little cottage awesome for us pet parents the back porch was very nice and relaxing.. nice to have a park for the kids and dollar general for last min things only 2 mins walk. cottage has everything you need also a special touch that muffins and fruits await you on arrival

The view was amazing, and the whole reason I specifically booked this house, and I was certainly not disappointed. The house was as listed, felt very comfy, was clean, everything as expected. I would highly recommend this rental and plan on coming back.

This Airbnb was the absolute dream!!! We stayed here the night before my wedding and it was amazing. Me and all my girls are all Hendersonville locals, and needed a place to slay that was close to our venue. This place was absolutely perfect!Everything about this place was so thoughtful and put together. Kim left us some treats for the night, which were much needed after our rehearsal dinner. I will be recommending this house to family and friends who need somewhere to stay who are out of town. We might even have another girls trip here! If you are thinking about coming into Hendersonville you should definitely stay here!! 100/10🤍

My stay at the cottage was truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning beauty of the surroundings—the natural landscape was breathtaking and created such a serene backdrop. The cottage itself was perfectly clean, with every detail thoughtfully maintained, which made me feel comfortable and at ease right away. The peacefulness of the location allowed me to fully unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It was the perfect combination of beauty, cleanliness, and tranquility, making my stay an incredibly refreshing and rejuvenating experience. We loved our stay here! The house was within walking distance of an event we were attending at Highland Lake Cove and it was so nice to be in the quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The house was comfortable and spacious and we had everything we needed. Great and communicative hosts!

Corey's place was a beautiful, clean oasis for us after a long day of volunteering with Hurricane Recovery. The location was close and convenient for all our favorite things in the Flat Rock/Hendersonville area like Flat Rock Village Bakery and Skytop Orchards. The house is a spotless new build, and has everything you would need for cooking a nice dinner at home. It was perfect for our family of 6. Corey was responsive and a wonderful host.

I can not say enough positive things about this charming and beautiful house. Everything single thing was found perfectly wonderful. It looks and feels completely brand new in every aspect of the house and I was surprised with how tasteful it was. I’ve stayed at several properties and I would say this one is the cleanest and most comfortable house I’ve stayed at! I will stay again and you should definitely choose this house!! You will not regret it.

We are so lucky to have found this home for our weekend in the mountains to attend a family wedding! The location was perfect and our stay was cozy and just what was needed. Everything was abundant—from towels and linens to fresh air and white squirrels! This is truly a special home with great hosts.

Great place to stay for a quick weekend in Asheville!

What a beautiful house and grounds. My close friends stayed in this home, they were very happy. It was close to the one my family stayed in, which made it super for visits. We would definitely think about coming again to Flat Rock!

We absolutely loved our home away from home while visiting friends in Hendersonville. Lisa’s place is charming, tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, with thoughtful amenities throughout. The layout was perfect for our group—three bedrooms and bathrooms made it easy for six adults to get ready and relax with plenty of space. The outdoor areas were a bonus; even in the rain, we could enjoy them comfortably thanks to the covered spaces. We also really appreciated the local recommendations and helpful insights provided in the guide that made planning our time in the area so much easier. Small but meaningful touches—like morning coffee and tea, and a well-stocked kitchen with everything we needed to prepare breakfast or dinner—didn’t go unnoticed. Christen was responsive, friendly, and on top of all communication, which we truly appreciated. We would all highly recommend this stay and would happily return!

We had a great stay! The house was very clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed. We brought our two kids and they had a lot of fun — it’s a great space for families. The outdoor area was especially nice for relaxing and spending time together. Would definitely recommend for a comfortable and enjoyable getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was about 3 blocks from downtown/main street. The cottage was very clean, simple, and I could see how it'd be perfect for a long-term rental for say a traveling nurse also. To be honest, we arrived late - it was dark, we had a little bit of trouble spotting the "yellow" house in the dark. The sign on the tree with the number helped once we saw it. Waze didn't tell us whether the destination was on the right or the left. The area was quiet and peaceful. The front porch was a great spot to kick back and relax.

We all loved the house which was extremely comfortable for all 9 adults. Hot tub and screened porch were perfect for lounging after meals. Plenty of fluffy throws to wrap up in to keep warm and the table fireplace was a delight sitting around. The round breakfast table in the kitchen was large enough for all of us to play cards and games. The beds were quite comfortable and there were plenty of extra pillows and blankets for all bedrooms. The garage has been converted into a game room and we spent a few hours there testing our skills at ping pong and skeet ball. This house was one of the nicest and cleanest homes we have stayed in and hope it is available the next time we come to the mountains for a visit.
