Gather around a modern table for dinner with mountain views visible through picture windows and sliding glass. Pop open a cold drink and have a seat on a sunny deck, or recline in a leather armchair beside the wood-burning stove in the living room. The Tree House is a 2 bedroom 1 bath A-frame cabin built in 1971 overlooking the trees. Our home has a beautiful picture window that allows for amazing scenery as you sit and enjoy friends & family inside or on the deck. Our home was renovated by us in 2017/2018, it has been so much fun to be hands on while our vision has come together to give an industrial rustic feel. The Tree House can be used as a base camp as it is centrally located in the NC mountains ...10 Minutes to Historic Flat Rock & the Flat Rock Play House, 15 minutes to downtown Hendersonville, 15 Minutes to Dupont State Park, 20 Minutes to Brevard, 35 Minutes to Tryon Equestrian Center, 45 Minutes to Blue Ridge Parkway, 45 Minutes to Asheville, & 45 minutes to Greenville, SC. Once you head up the driveway you will have parking for 3 vehicles on the parking pad. Do not park in the garage. Please use caution when pulling in and backing around deck support poles. Guests will have access to the entire property minus one owners closet with a pad lock. Available as needed by text, phone, email. I will be happy to recommend cool restaurants, breweries and area attractions. We love to hike so we can provide suggestions on hikes in the area. The cabin is set a top a plot of land along a private gravel road, yet only minutes by car from downtown Hendersonville’s dining and shopping. Pay a visit to Carl Sandburg's Home, then grab a cold one at Oklawaha Brewing Company. A vehicle is reccomended We have a Insignia Roku TV & DVD player. The TV is attached to an antenna with about 15 stations and it has apps for Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Google Play, & Sling. Guest will have to use their account logins for the apps

Studio sized cottage in historic W Hendersonville with a firefly theme, one block to the Ecusta Trail. Separate but next to my house (no shared walls). Consists of a large bedroom & a bathroom with a tub/shower. Inside the bedroom is a "kitchenette" area with a mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven & keurig. There's also a love seat to relax and watch tv. The queen bed has a comfy medium firm mattress and nice cotton linens. Lovely private backyard w/ grill. All are welcome and respected.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a full-size fridge, stove, microwave, and Keurig, and the king-size bed features a medium-firm mattress for a restful night's sleep. This studio is in our basement. Pros: very communicative host who responded quickly, clean, great price, just as described. We had never been to flat rock and were surprised that the town had several restaurants, a waffle house, and gas stations less than 10 minutes away. Cons: not quite as much privacy outdoors as we imagined. There are several other rentals on the farm and guests have to drive right by the pond/front porch of this rental to enter/exit the property. Just about every hour during the day a car was passing right by us. It’s not the hosts fault at all, but one car was particularly loud and disruptive. It just took us out of the moment sometimes, so it’s not a secluded type of environment if that’s what you’re looking for. And it wasn’t advertised as such, so I didn’t take away any stars for this.

We had a great stay at Paul’s place! Very easy to find and he allowed us to check in early. The only complaint would be that the dryer does not dry quickly and you have to dry your clothes several times. Other than that everything was absolutely great!

Our stay at Sandy's was the perfect getaway from our busy lives. She has a beautiful country property with horses, chickens, sheep, and a friendly dog named Buddy who greats you every time you arrive or leave. The airbnb was clean, complete with everything you need to cook, and has an amazing screened in porch with comfy chairs so you can relax and watch the farm animals walk around the property. The location is private and quiet. Nonetheless, you're only 40 minutes away from downtown Asheville or a 15 minute drive from the mountains, rivers, and cute restaurants in Brevard, NC. Sandy was a fantastic host - she even let us pet the sheep. Thank you very much Sandy - we will be coming back again if we're ever planning a trip in the area. I highly recommend this Airbnb!
