Being a dog friendly space was very important to us. The backyard was the perfect place for our dog to be let out and for him to explore on his own. Although the space doesn't have AC, or it wasn't on when we were there, it cools off very fast if you leave the door open for a little! Ithaca is a beautiful town with lots to explore, many dog friendly places, and things to do without the pup when the evening calls for it. We recommend this space and the town for a few days get away!

Absolutely loved this charming cabin! Beautifully furnished with thoughtful touches throughout, it felt like a true retreat. The location is peaceful and private, and everything was perfectly comfortable for my two-day stay. Would definitely come back!

Perfect spot to spend the night with my two dogs! Dropped-off breakfast was delicious, fenced yard - and treats! - for the dogs was appreciated, and couldn’t resist a quick dip in the hot tub. Thanks for hosting!

If you are looking for a place to disconnect and unwind from the busy world, this is the place. Beautiful, serene, relaxing. The Jen (host) is kind, sweet, and went out of her way to make welcome us and make us feel at home. would highly recommend!!

Very cute cabin. We loved stepping out onto the deck and enjoying our morning cup of coffee with the sound of the stream in close proximity and the lovely view of the trees. My husband enjoyed a little fishing on the pond within walking distance of the cabin. As mentioned in the description, it is very close to the road. If you're a light sleeper, take some ear plugs. Also, it is a cabin so note that there may be a critter or 2 inside the cabin and bug bites are very much a part of the experience. I woke up with several bites. The shared bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. The shared kitchen was also helpful. We did cook a little breakfast there every day. Of the 2 cabins available by this host, this one has a little more privacy. All in all, we would love to return in the future. Great hosts.

One of my top two favorite rental spaces to date! Dan has created a space that met any need we had. Every last detail and inch of the space has been so well thought out. A bottle of wine was generously waiting for us upon our arrival. Dan is very thorough in his instructions and communication. He reached out during our stay to make sure we were doing well and didn’t have any issues. The setting is so peaceful whether you are up around the cottage or down by the lake. Our weather wasn’t great, so unfortunately time on the lake itself didn’t happen. We hope to visit again and be able to make use of the kayaks. Fantastic find if you’re looking to get away! Place was perfect. Quiet comfortable clean relaxing and a great location. We were able to experience the Finger Lakes at its finest.

we had a great vacation - my husband and 2 kids. we enjoyed the space and had everything we needed. we enjoyed being able to walk down to the lake. we sat on the deck, played games at the kitchen eat in counter. watched TV and relaxed/slept on extremely comfortable beds. it was a very quiet location even surrounded by other houses. it was close by to many of our trip highlights including the sandy bottom park, Naples pizza, red cat winery, lynnie lous ice cream and the Corning museum. would recommend this place to future families looking for a place to stay.

This is one of my fav places to stay! Secluded, quiet, quaint, it’s delightful. My wife and I loved returning here for our one year anniversary.

My wife and I have been to Watkins Glen numerous times through the years, but this spontaneous anniversary trip was hands down the best place we’ve stayed! Obviously a little bit newer, modern rustic tiny home vibes in a beautiful area surrounded by nature overlooking the lake. All the amenities you need and the location is less than 10 minutes from the village full of restaurants, bars, shopping, etc also right off the main road with wineries minutes away! Host was extremely responsive and proactively checking before and after our arrival. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful little lodge! This was a close-to-home getaway for my Mom and I. We explored old stomping grounds and new businesses and really enjoyed coming back to this peaceful little place.

My girlfriend and I wanted a peaceful cabin experience on a weekend trip to Niagara Falls. This FAR exceeded anything we could have imagined. Barb was incredibly responsive and gave great recommendations including a live music spot and an all you can eat breakfast She greeted us in person when we arrived and ensured that we were all settled in. This place truly is a hidden gem and we will definitely be coming back again! Thank you, Barb!

This stay was incredibly peaceful and private surrounded by tall grass, trees, and nature all around. The home was spotless, with large windows that let in beautiful natural light and a lovely patio perfect for relaxing. The host was kind, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. A truly serene and refreshing experience!

We love it in the Barnstormer spot!!! This is our second stay and we are plotting our next visit already ! We added the “staycation package” and what a treat it was! This was a dreamy peaceful little place. It was a welcomed relaxing space as I just finished a year of teaching. It looked just like the photos. Had many things that one would need to enjoy your stay. I loved the updated touches and bathroom while still being a rustic cabin. The fire place is so cozy. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This little home was so charming and cozy! It was quite chilly so we didn’t get into the pond but the view was beautiful and the house itself was whimsical and perfect for our needs! David was very responsive and came right over to help us light the stove our first night cooking. I would love to stay here again.

This was our second time now staying at Sherrys beautiful cabin. We love it here and we can’t wait to come back again soon. We are making this a tradition in our family coming to this amazing property. We had the most peaceful and wonderful weekend here and our dogs absolutely loved being off leash, exploring 200 private acres of land and swimming in the gorgeous pond. Thank you for having us and we can’t wait to come back.
