The small house is much more spacious than it looks from the outside, it is very beautiful and cozy, and it lacks nothing. The view from the living room window and the dining area in the kitchen is great, on the water you can watch ducks, and in the evening the sunset. A highlight was the tour of the farm, we got everything explained and were allowed to pet the calves. The area is fantastically beautiful, and you can be in Workum am IJsselmeer in a few minutes by car. It was an unforgettable vacation, we would love to come again. The only issue is that the ceiling in the upstairs loft is 190cm so if you're tall this cute cottage isn't probably ideal.

The place is very nice and clean. We were very pleased with everything. Above all, the dike and the lock are only a few steps away, as is the old town of Makkum. We will certainly be back.
