Family-friendly holiday rentals in Fayetteville

my crew and I stayed here for the Rim to River 100. centrally located near Fayetteville it was great for our needs as we traveled around the gorge.

This place was amazing. Really enjoyed our time here. The house is very nice and location is awesome. Would definitely come back again!

Cabin #9 was nestled far enough from the other cabins to make it feel private. Four of us stayed but there were sleeping accommodations for 8. Plenty of room. Everything was clean. The hot tub was very clean and a nice size. There are many beautiful things to see and tons of hiking trails very nearby.

This cabin was a perfect setting for a getaway with good friends. The cabin is surrounded by nature and is a very peaceful property. There are even some great trails to explore just out the back door. The cabin is equipt with just about all the cooking supplies and utensils you would need. The view out back was spectacular, even on rainy days. Highly recommend.

An amazing property. Very peaceful. Hot tub A+. Heating stove in living room was very effective and nice to quickly warm up inside after a night time hot tub soak on the patio. Easy access to all directions and in the gorge. Friendly check in. The only ‘issue’ was the comfort of the mattress, but that’s a personal detail/preference and very hard to please every single person. Enjoyed a trip here with my wife. Was a beautifully little town and the cabin was plenty comfy. We stayed in the love shack and plan to come back again and try one of the other cabins in the future! Got to talk to the Hostess during check-out and she was very welcoming and friendly!

We came down to whitewater raft and zipline with Adventures on the Gorge. The cabin was so close to Adventures on the Gorge. It is nice and secluded, and has everything you need for your getaway! The hottub was great after a long day of adventuring. The host gave great local recommendations and even stopped by our first night to see if we needed anything. Our two boys (10 and 12) enjoyed the woods around the cabin. The personal touches were amazing- fresh flowers on the table, fresh baked cookies, and souvenir glasses to take home! I have stayed many places, but this one is a favorite for sure!

I had an amazing stay! Gary was very responsive to messages and very friendly. The cabin was beautiful and in a very peaceful location! Very clean and well maintained! I would definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect "home base" for an outdoor getaway. The wifi was reliable and fast, and helped us stay connected to the necessary travel basics (maps, local business listings, etc.), but the natural surroundings invited us to disconnect from everything unnecessary. The screened porch with hot tub was an absolute delight every morning and evening. Heating provided by a gas fireplace hooked up to a thermostat - no fuss, super cozy. Kitchen had everything we needed for a few simple meals. We had an awesome time and would happily return!

Christine had issues with her cleaning staff so our check in was delayed but she communicated this to us. She was very apologetic, friendly and outgoing. Christine was so nice to allow us to stay past the checkout time. Thanks, Christine, for making us feel like family.

Great cabin that is very close to Gauley Fest location. I also love how secluded it was and it came with our own fire pit!

Wonderful place to stay!

One night stay on our way heading south but already making plans to return to check out the parks and trails in the area. House is just like described, very homey and clean. Great location

Pictures don't do it justice. Located perfectly for New River or Gauley related trips. Everything you need. Clean, quiet, beautiful. Very close to bridge, great spot for Bridge Day.

Great stay at the Wiseman house. We were in town for son’s wedding at Gaines Estate which was beautiful and the staff was great, especially the wedding coordinator Allison! We loved the convenience of the location and the flexibilities of the hosts. We had plenty of space at the Wiseman house to move around and get ready for the weekend’s festivities! It was extremely clean and everything was thought of which is so appreciated.

This was our 2nd time staying here and both times were wonderful. Great location, extra clean and well stocked with essentials. The Host was very responsive. The front porch is great for morning coffee :)

We loved our stay in the cabin. It was so peaceful. We got visits from deer every evening & shows from the lightning bugs every night. We enjoyed eating our meals on the screened in patio. The hot tub was the perfect way to relax before bed. The twin beds were not very comfortable (& they were also really squeaky). The other beds were fine, though. If you’re terrified of bugs & spiders, this probably isn’t the place for you. They weren’t excessive, but they were regularly visible. Mostly daddy long legs, nothing too scary.

Such a great place and host. Easy check in and out and, and excellent amenities! We highly recommend!

This stay surpassed our expectations. Everything Jerri had control over was perfect. The house is perfect. The communication was perfect. The closest 2 neighboring houses were very friendly and accommodating. The neighborhood felt safe once we got further up the lane and it opened up to a beautiful piece of land.

Beautiful location. Even though it is "off the path" a little (which is what we prefer), it was still very convenient to anything you might want to do. The park was super close, great places to eat or shop also very close by but yet the home is tucked away in a beautiful area and very private. Colleen could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed meeting her and staying at her place. The gorge is fantastic and very close, a hidden gem for sure!

I love the New River Gorge National Park and this was the perfect, peaceful location for my partner to spend a week relaxing in the area. We especially loved the wood burning fire place with provided wood and the hot tub. The location isn't "private", but you still feel plenty private with how the surrounding cabins are laid out. Great King sized bed as well!

Second time we have stayed and have enjoyed each. Large farm house, is starting to show its age but that adds to the character. Pool and hot tub worked perfectly, Only 6 miles from Fayetteville. Great place for a large group on a rafting adventure.

Bill was a great host. Willing to accommodate where ever he could and gave us options on things we might not be able to do at this location. Place was perfect for our group of 8 - slid chairs over so everyone could sit at 1 table for meals. The grill was great, the bathrooms were very nice, beds were comfortable and there were plenty there. Pool table was nice, you can tell they have had some guests that were not very nice to the cues, not the host's fault. Really nice towels, which stands out from other places we've stayed. The local area is nice and there was plenty to do for the 2 days we were there. Again, Bill was just great to deal with...
