Monthly Rentals in Fagundas

We loved our stay at Pedro's house. Nordeste and its surroundings have an end-of-the-world charm, the house is pretty like everything and we were able to enjoy the sunrise over the ocean every morning from the windows of the living room sipping our cafes, a treat! The house lacks nothing but it can be cool, if you go outside the summer, bring pijamas and socks in pilou!

Our stay here was nothing short of incredible. The location is unbeatable—waking up to the sound of the ocean and having panoramic views of the Atlantic from the property was a dream come true. The home was spotless, beautifully designed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was welcoming and responsive. We loved the outdoor space where we enjoyed coffee in the mornings and some drinks at sunset. It truly felt like a peaceful retreat tucked away in paradise. Being so close to nature made this the perfect base for exploring the beauty of São Miguel. We can’t recommend this place enough!

Casa Auri is a wonderful apartment in a quaint and scenic village, and Claudia is a most responsive and helpful host! In advance of our arrival, she sent very helpful videos about how to park at the apartment and how to get inside. And she was always responsive to our questions, giving very helpful travel tips! The place itself was spotless and set up very well for a comfortable stay. It also has great accessibility to some hiking trails which begin about a mile from the apartment. The charming town itself does not have many food/eating options, but we were able to stock up on what we needed for making meals in Povaoçao, about 15 minutes away along scenic winding roads. Beautiful stay in this apartment. Nordeste is a bit further away from the rest of the island, but it felt like living like a local for a few days. The apartment was beautifully decorated, in a pristine state. I highly recommend if you’re planning to hike and do other activities in the area of Nordeste.
