We had an amazing time at this place. It was super peaceful and we could not have imagined a better place for our vacation!

Marvelous views, warm, friendly, generous and helpful host. Off street secure parking, washing machine very useful to have. Comfortable lounge, large kitchen and balcony. We would really recommend this place to friends, family and everyone. Approx 15 minutes drive to Rethymno.

We were looking for a location that provided peace and tranquility, Herberts home certainly ticked the box. Stunning views, relaxed and peaceful surroundings. Herberts was always in hand to assist and share his knowledge and passion for the landscape, we even learnt how to graft olive trees! This is a a gem and we will be returning.

All in all the villa was great. Valia was a devoted and caring host - nothing was too much trouble. It was nice that when we arrived very late to the villa Valia waited to greet us and left us some essentials to get us going. The view from the villa is stunning and the overall grounds were very idyllic. It comfortably hosted 6 of us but I would just say that the villa is not huge. You would definitely need a car if you stay here as you are far out from most things but there are good local supermarkets and bakery that you can walk to. Overall would recommend for a peaceful holiday.
