Beautiful space with stunning view! Perfect to disconnect and relax!

We had a fantastic stay in the cottage for nine nights. Villa Alta is in a beautiful location and the grounds around the house are so well maintained. We enjoyed both the shared pool and our own private terrace with hot tub. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and perfect for our needs. It was a perfect base for us to explore the area. Raffaella was so friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the villa on a couple of occasions. We would highly recommend a stay here.

We spent two nights there, everything was great! The hot tub overlooking the mountains is a good plus and if you go there in summer you can enjoy the fruits that grow on site. There is also a couple of neighbors, who are absolutely adorable and with whom everything went well.

!!! Hidden jewel of Tuscany !!! My girlfriend and I had one of the best holidays ever in this wonderful place away from the tourist strongholds. We were received in person by the host family upon our arrival. Just for your information: Molly herself is only a kind of agency from the UK with whom you have contact before arrival. On site, we were in contact with the host family and were welcomed by them very warmly. For the perfect start to our holiday, we were given a homemade antipasto plate, fresh fruit, a cake and a bottle of wine. When we got a detailed tour of the property, we could no longer come out of the light. Everything was just incredibly beautiful and prepared for us with so much love for detail. Starting with the pool area, which is equipped with the most seating, lying and chill facilities. Of course, the fire bowl should not be forgotten, which is just perfect for a cozy and romantic evening. In addition, there is the breathtaking view over Castiglione di Garfagnana and the associated nature. For us personally, the pizza oven and the associated barbecue station were an absolute highlight. The house has everything you need. It is super clean, well equipped (especially the kitchen) , the bed is really comfortable and again we would like to really highlight the attention to detail in all rooms. In addition, the surroundings are beautiful, you can just love the small villages, the mountains and nature. A perfect place to just unwind and enjoy the tranquility. In the end, it is only to say that we are incredibly happy to have discovered this place, a week there was far too short and we can recommend this accommodation with full conviction. The stay at Sara's house was really very pleasant. This beautiful, recently restored house overlooks a fragrant, flower-filled garden. The kitchen is equipped with super appliances and quality dishes. The beds are very comfortable and the linen is of high quality. nothing is missing to fully enjoy the holiday. Another thing that makes this village special is the fact that you have to leave your car and walk home on a pleasant walk while your luggage travels on the tractor driven by Bryan. far from the noise of the city, I spent hours immersed in the peace and greenery of the woods in the background. Sara and Bryan are caring and welcoming hosts and know how to anticipate every desire. I highly recommend this place if you want to experience moments of true relaxation.

The place is located on top of the hill. It has been a pleasure to stay for a few nights at Federico's place. He has been really helpful when we asked questions, to find the place etc. It is a lovely family house. We did not test the jaccuzi because off season but I guess on sunny days it must be amazing. The view from the house is stunning.

We really enjoyed our holiday at cas nel bosco, the house is very quiet and close to nature. We liked that very much. The pool and the garden offer total relaxation. We already miss everything very much. In the valley it was often 32 degrees in the first week and upstairs in the house it was very pleasant. The pool was super refreshing. The house has everything you need and the small village of Medicina is very charming. The access road is narrow and very winding, but we also saw some wildlife. Communication with Francesca and Paola was straightforward and enquiries were answered immediately. Thank you very much, we had a great holiday.

Great stay at this little cliffside house. Amazing view with a large terrace facing the sea. The description and photos of the listing are accurate. Very nice experience.

The host is great and beyond accommodating. The garden and pool area are a dream, much more beautiful and better in real life than in the pictures. You can highly recommend this place. The small village is super cute with good gastronomy.

The accommodation is a small cozy cottage, which is located on a large property on which olive trees and herbs grow. We immediately felt very comfortable. You live there very privately, i.e. the terrace in front is very protected by shrubs and trees, but you have a wonderful unobstructed view of the sea and Portovenere. It is very quiet and you can relax perfectly. We're so excited to have met Agnes. She is a wonderful host who was always available and supported us with ideas and information. It doesn't get any better - thank you Agnes !!! In summary, it was a great stay. We lacked nothing and we can recommend the accommodation without restriction.

Nice and quiet place. Beautiful views of the hills .Lost of outdoor space and sweet distance sound of the church bell. Lovely place to get back too after a busy day elsewhere.

Little but very cosy house with a large and beautiful garden. The view is stunning and the house very well equipped. Renate and Matthias are very kind and communication was smooth and easy. Thanks for everything!

The place is wonderful ! The cottage had everything you need, a great space in front of the cottage - a private grill, a table with chairs, sun loungers, an umbrella and a grill. The nearest store is about 10 minutes by car, there are several great restaurants in pratovecchio and Stia. The pool area is great- the pool is clean, the sun loungers are comfortable, and the view is AMAZING. Definitely recommend for shorter and longer stays !

This is the third time we've rented Graziella and Matteo's house. What's more? We feel at home, they are always very kind and helpful. We'll be back.

Everything was perfect! We had a great time at Elisa's. The house matched the description and had everything we needed. Having a 1 and a half year old child, she provided us with everything we needed for him, a cot and a high chair. Our son was free to roam without problems and obstacles. We felt right at home. The sea is just a short walk away. The area is very quiet, with maximum privacy and internal parking (perfect for unloading luggage with ease). There are all the necessary amenities nearby. Elisa is always available to answer all questions with suggestions. We will definitely be back ❤️

Had a very nice time in an intimate and cozy house, which quickly became 'our' home. The cottage is located in the hills amidst olive trees and forest, although isolated, but it does not feel that way. You can easily forget the ballast of a busy life... Well worth it!

Beautiful cottage! Felt really welcome. Perfect place to just relax. In the morning you could walk to the bakery and get freshly baked bread. Before we arrived Dominick sent us a really nice welcome document with a lot of info of things to do!

Very nice house tastefully renovated. Large garden ideal for children and evening aperitivo, watching the sunset over the mountains in the distance. Very clean and very functional with everything you need for a great stay. The host family is very friendly and gave us good advice on sightseeing and restaurants where to go. Great

Authentic Italian residence in the hills of Tuscany. Fivizzano is within driving distance, where you will find nice cafes and restaurants. There is also a small supermarket with a wide range of regional products and high quality fruit and vegetables. The swimming pool was wonderful and already good in terms of temperature at the beginning of June. Communication with the host was great, very friendly and helpful. A car is a must.

We had a really nice time at this place! It is very quiet and private, located near Tereglio, so you can relax wonderfully in the middle of nature and mountains with a beautiful view! The cottage is rustic, you will find everything you need. The well-maintained and lovingly designed outdoor area with pool is particularly noteworthy. Lorenza's parents are really very friendly and helpful hosts and can always be reached for any concern (e.g. luggage, etc.). Thank you so much! :) We would come back anytime!

Elisa, you made our honeymoon a dream! Prior to the stay she sent us lots of information, pictures & voice notes to help with all our queries! We drove down to Santa Margarita after getting married in the lakes, it rained so I asked her if there was a dry cleaners who could clean my dress and my husbands suit and she took them straight after directing us to the property (it is beautiful and peaceful what we needed after a hectic social wedding!) Her husband helped carry our bags and they both were so friendly and have the most beautiful restaurant we had the pleasure of visiting! They left us a gorgeous bottle of wine on arrival which we drank whilst opening cards by the pool, and brought us stunning meats and cheese with olive oil made from the olive tree we sat under -just beautiful! Each morning Elisa left warm croissants and fresh fruit on the garden coffee table which was delicious and so thoughtful! Communication was amazing, thank you for everything we were truly sad to leave xx

Just a short walk to the city center and main attractions. The apartment is nicely furnished and very cozy. Daniela gave us great tips on restaurants and activities. The only downside was that the stay was too short. Excellent.

It was really hot when arrived in mid June but Mariasilvia gave us a fan which helped a lot, and the garden was cool to sit in morning and evening., and some eggs which were very welcome. As well as local walks and exploration we highly recommend the gallery in Piacenza for anyone who likes paintings. Very peaceful!
