Miner’s Camp is a very cute, quiet little cluster of cabins. Ours, a small single bed with a kitchenette was perfect for our stay at the Western States Training Camp. The cabin’s location was a short walk to the Foresthill Elementary school, coffee shop and cafes. The cabin was clean, instructions were clear, and the property was super quiet despite the other nearby cabins. Our kitchenette was minimal (we had two of everything, plates, cups, mugs, so lots of dish washing) and equipped for simple cooking rather than full meals, but it got the job done.

Exactly as described. Definitely rustic themed but very clean. Bed was very comfortable and dressed with soft linens. Perfect for my one night stay.

The cabin was super cute and perfect for our quick but great little stay. My oldest son loved the loft! We’d love to come back when there’s snow and enjoy the cozy vibes all over again. Thanks for a lovely stay!

This cabin was better than the description! Loved this cabin. So comfortable, adorable, and a great location in town. We arrived at night. The heat was on the the cabin was very comfortable when we arrived. Had everything we needed and more.

Everything as expected. All I needed as a single guest for a walking distance wedding reception.

We were so happy with Cottage #2. It was cute and cozy and well equipped. The hosts were responsive and pro-active in communicating. Being able to sit on the deck and enjoy watching the river activities and also being able to hear the river at night was magical. We wish we had booked another night. We will be back anytime we come to Placerville area again. Thank you.

I loved everything about this place! It is very centrally located and super dog friendly. The host and team were very nice and responsive. Will gladly come back!!!

The place was exactly like the pictures. Even though other cabins are nearby it was still very private and relaxing. It was easy to get to places no matter what direction you went in but far enough away from the busier towns.

This stay was absolutely amazing! It was the perfect cozy little cabin, super clean, very peaceful, everything I could ask for! We were welcomed with a glass of wine, they offered a complimentary sauna session, and check-in was completely seamless! Definitely would revisit!

Tim and Kayla were remarkably helpful, responsive and receptive. Be aware that tiny homes are pretty cozy but ieverythings there for you. Loved the location, top of the hill and beautiful. Toogood and Miller across the street! Cheers!

This place is nearby all you need and more yet secluded. Very beautiful view of the lake from the backyard. Very peaceful and quiet. Place is perfect for your get away!

Perfect if you want a get away free of distractions. The place was just as described and really well kept. A family of deer live in the area so it was a wonderful surprise to catch them walking around the property from the deck. We look forward to coming back in the summer time when we can explore the swimming holes in the area, and make use of the outdoor shower.

What a fantastic cozy place to stay after a day of wine tasting! A couple of things: 1. The bed was very comfortable! 2. I was super impressed by the little details! The snack basket and the Advil did not go unnoticed! The toiletries in the bathroom were a nice touch as well. 3. I appreciate how the kitchen was nicely stocked with measuring cups, spoons, and other items! Nothing was missed. 4. Of course Tim and Kayla were amazing hosts! Tim was super responsive to our cry for help when we couldn't get the heater running and quickly swapped out the propane tank for the fire pit! We will definitely be back to stay!!

Stayed over the weekend to celebrate our 2 year anniversary. Such a lovely stay. Justin was very responsive and ensured we were very comfortable for our stay. Loved getting away from the city and enjoyed being with nature. We were able to enjoy the bonfire with some wine. Also got to enjoy the wine tasting on property and the pizza was delicious.

The tiny home was clean and comfortable, w/ the kitchen of a full sized home. Great deck too. A highlight for us was the pool and hot tub area; world class, w/ amazing views. The wine cave was pretty amazing as well. (& the wine!) Kayla & Tim were very nice and personable, as well as responsive - they answered questions quickly before we booked the place, and continued being hospitable, & also gave us some great local tips. We look forward to our next stay.

The workshop was absolutely charming and exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, Gail's personalized welcome signs made my pup and I feel instantly at home. The craftsmanship and attention to detail throughout the space were truly impressive, and the cozy ambience made it even better than the photos. Gail was incredibly attentive and communicative throughout our stay which is always greatly appreciated. Will be coming here again when we're in the area :). I highly recommend the workshop to anyone looking for a cozy retreat.

Hope & Tom were very welcoming; their property is lovely. I enjoyed chilling on the deck watching the baby goats play. Can’t go wrong with fresh eggs. Would stay again if ever back in the area.

Cara’s place is a gem and we’re glad we found it. The perfect getaway from the busy Bay Area. Certainly, the creek just beneath really is the unique part of the whole experience. Of course we loved the hot tub and all other amenities too!

Great location and lovely place. Easy access and great communication with Amy. This is a perfect place for 2 if you want to escape to Tahoe for a long weekend.

Our stay at Matt’s cabin was nothing short of magical — a true core memory for our family. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The location is absolutely perfect — we were able to hike right from the front door to a beautiful trail Matt recommended in his check-in book, and even swam in the nearby river. Back at the cabin, we made the most of the wonderful amenities. My kids had a blast riding Matt’s family’s bikes up and down the quiet street, and we ended each day grilling rib eyes on the deck while taking in the stunning mountain view. Mornings were spent sipping coffee on that same deck: peaceful, cozy, and unforgettable. Inside, the thoughtful touches continued. My kids discovered the convenient desk tucked away in the master closet and used it to draw pictures of our trip and work on puzzles from the charming green cabin downstairs. Every little detail made the stay feel special and comfortable. Matt was a gracious and communicative host, highly recommend

I'm not fond of Hotels so Tiny Tina was the perfect place for me to say while I visited my Sister in Auburn. It's Tiny but so adorable and just a great place to relax. Linda

I was looking for a quiet spot tucked into nature that was close by outdoor areas I wanted to explore. This was perfect for that. The house is easy to get to, was cozy, and has everything you need. Solid deck area just off the bedroom for relaxing outside, and then a beautiful little slice of nature right off the deck with pretty mix of trees, flowers, birds, etc. A very peaceful setting and even prettier in person. I explored Sly Park rec area which had some good hiking and lake activities just 15 minutes up 50. Also convenient location to explore Slab Creek for Kayaking. The wifi was strong enough for solid remote work too if needed. Overall, awesome little cabin on great piece of land and I will hopefully be back!

We stayed at Laura and Dan’s gorgeous home for our wedding weekend as our venue was in Newcastle! The house was perfect for us and our bridal party! It was the perfect house to gather with all our closest family and friends and enjoy! From the pool table, to the hot tub and the bunk room for a girls slumber party it was perfect! Laura and Dan were excellent hosts and we hope to stay again. We shared lots of laughs and memories were made! Cheers! Connor & Maggie
