Holiday Home Mila is located in the coast village Egmond aan Zee, 50 meters from the dunes and 100 meters from the center. The beach is 300 meters away from the house. In the village there are several good restaurants, bars and lovely terraces. The supermarket is 200 meters away. The center of the cozy cheese town of Alkmaar can easily be reached by bus with 20 minutes. A day in Amsterdam is also a possibility. From the train station (Heiloo or Alkmaar) every half hour a train goes to A'dam.

This holiday house in the back of my garden offers the excellent retreat if you want to experience the beauty of the Dutch dunes and beaches and escape the hectic city life. The house is located in a quiet street, walking distance from the beach (10 min) . Egmond aan Zee is one of the most beautiful areas in The Netherlands only 30 minutes by train from Amsterdam (station Heiloo is 5 km from Egmond aan Zee). Excellent for hikes and cycling. There is a storage for the bikes with the house.

Schrijvershuisje/ holiday cottage "Little Hemingway" is ideal for the lazy reading holiday. Our cottage has plenty of books in the closet! There is also an opportunity to write. If you don't want all this, enjoy the peace, the sea and the dunes in our picturesque Egmond. Our cottage is small but very warm and cosy, and has a ditto sleeping loft. Three minutes walk from the beach. N/A : from July 1 to September 1, the cottage can only be booked per week, from Saturday to free/sitting.

Outside, on the balcony, there are two large awnings, 2 sunloungers, heaters and a lounge set with six seats. Private double garage for 2 cars.

We look forward to welcoming you in our lovely summer cottage. Centrally located near the dunes, the beach and the cozy center of Egmond aan Zee. Through your own entrance you enter the cozy living room with 3 sofa with stool, dining table with 4 chairs, kitchen and bathroom. Upstairs there is a bedroom with sink, double bed (140 x 200) and a single bed (80 x 200). Our cottage has its own terrace with table and 4 chairs and is equipped with a sunshade.

COZY summer cottage, located on a quiet street 10 minutes' walk from the beach. Dunes, forest and cozy center around the corner. Parking included. Layout: living room with kitchen, TV. Double bedroom with double bed and wardrobe. New bathroom completed in December 2022. In the corridor another folding bed, which gives access to the south-facing patio with table and chairs. Egmond aan Zee - Nice house near beach and dunes!

Just north of the lighthouse, 100 m. from the beach and the dunes, is our cozy cottage for 1 - 3 people. The village center is about 300 meters away. When you come back from the beach, you can enjoy the sun on your own terrace. In the late and early season you can also come to us for a weekend, midweek or a few individual holidays. We only rent to tourists without babies. We do not rent to foreign employees/temporary agencies.

We went on a trip to the sea with 3 friends and had been looking for an overnight stay, where all 3 can stay in a reasonable bed in a nice apartment atmosphere and not in a small hotel room. The apartment is also well suited for families or solo travelers parents with slightly older children (because of the stairs to the sleeping area). I saved it as a favorite if we want to go to Egmond by sea with our son again.

A very nice accommodation that is exactly as described in the pictures. With the bikes, you can be in Egmond aan Zee in a few minutes. There are also many possibilities to get to other places from there by very good bus and train connections. The hosts are very friendly, although they live right next door in the summer months, you can't hear or see the two. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back .

The location of the house was very central. The house lacked nothing, everything was very clean and cozy. A beautiful fresh bouquet of roses stood on the table. Information about the apartment was well described. Ester gave us tips on what we can do. Thank you, we enjoyed the 5 days of vacation.

It was the perfect birthday present for our mother! The accommodation is very lovingly furnished, cozy, clean, a beautiful terrace! Everything is within walking distance - supermarket, bakery, beach! Very special highlights were our bike tour through the dunes and the weekly market. Everyone was very friendly in the village. Jolijn was always easy to reach and helped directly with questions! Thank you! Overall, we had a wonderful time - happy to come back! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
