Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Eastern Algarve

Margarida’s place was spacious, clean and it had everything we needed. We only stayed for a one night but this place would great for a longer visit too. Location was good, walking distance from everything. Check out the Flower Bar & Coffee shop nearby, it’s such a cute place. Margarida answered quickly and we were lucky to be able to leave our luggage at the place for couple of hours before check in and after check out. Thank you for a great stay!

What a wonderful stay we had at Peggy and Rupert’s apartment. It was a very short walk to the old town - meaning there are lots of cafes, restaurants, and shopping just steps away. Peggy or Rupert always responded to any requests or questions we had and even made recommendations based on the age of our family. The apartment was bright, clean, and comfortable. I would stay here again, without a doubt!

We had a fantastic stay. We were very well received by Maria! A super sweet woman who explains everything clearly and gives some tips for the area. The Airbnb is close to the beach in a nice village with a bakery under the Airbnb. The apartment was clean and everything we needed was there. We also enjoyed the balcony, one in front and one in the back, so you can sit in the sun all day. We were very satisfied!

Accommodation faithful to the description, close to bus and train stations. The location is ideal for going to the hyper center of Faro and visiting the surroundings. Maria, always smiling, gives very good advice that adapts to our interests. We highly recommend this place. Thank you Maria!!!!

We had a very short stay at Lurie’s place. Very nice host and excellent apartment for a family of five. He was always available for our questions or informations to help our trip planning . Great place to stay !

Great check in with Bruno who showed us around, he runs the cafe round the corner (Kais Cafe), very good snacks and drinks. The apartment was massive with everything you needed, lovely private terrace and amazing views from the roof terrace. Close to some lovely restaurants and the beach, everything within walking distance. We did not meet Isidoro, but he was very helpful and even offered us use of the bikes in the garage 😄

We had an amazing stay! The apartment was very central—just a short walk to all the main spots in Lagos, including restaurants, shops, and the beach. Patricia was a fantastic host and responded quickly to all our messages, making everything easy and stress-free. She also left us a lovely welcome basket, which was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Lagos!

We felt completely at home in Florence’s apartment. It’s a super cozy place, beautifully decorated with fun and thoughtful touches. Everything was spotless when we arrived — incredibly clean and well cared for. The shared areas are full of flowers and charm, and the heated pool was a wonderful bonus, perfect for relaxing at any time of the day. There's also a private apartment within the property, which made us feel that our car was very safe during the entire stay. The location is excellent: less than five minutes from the beach, with a lovely village nearby to explore, a fantastic restaurant just around the corner, and a great café we instantly loved. Everything is close and convenient, and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. Florence was incredibly kind and informative from the very beginning. She made our arrival and stay smooth and welcoming, always available and attentive. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Orlando and his wife Armanda are super hosts. They are very friendly and communicative. Their place is very peaceful and lovely. They have allowed us to pick up fresh oranges and eggs . We have loved our stay in their place. We just wish the weather was more warmer so we could use a pool more ☀️

Had a wonderful 5-day stay as a 30s friend group - the house is absolutely stunning, and felt like a real luxury. It's only about an hour's drive from Faro Airport, AC was great, kitchen really well stocked even for a bit group and the outdoor area / BBQ were ideal! It's in a peaceful neighbourhood (up a massive hill!) and far enough from the other houses to feel private. It was super easy to Uber into Lagos for only €5-7 euros each way - drivers weren't at all daunted by the location, and are fearless with the tiny old town streets in Lagos proper! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone seeking to explore the Algarve :)

We enjoyed a week in Noemi's nice house. We were here with 2 couples which is ideal because the house is nice and spacious with one bedroom with bathroom downstairs directly when you enter and reach one bedroom with bathroom upstairs via the terrace. This way you have privacy and share the living room, kitchen the terrace and roof terrace. The view from the roof terrace is fantastic on the sea and the market hall. The house is full of comforts and is located in the beautiful old town near the market hall and the place where the boats leave for the beaches is a 5-minute walk. There are umbrellas available. Noemi is hospitable and was there to welcome us and went up at 6:30 to say hello to us personally. The house has steep stairs that is good to know, it is an old fisherman's house. Thank you Noemi! We'd love to come back.

Great stop here. Helena was communicative and we had a good stay. 3 floors, 2 kitchens and an outdoor bathroom/shower...what else do you need? Great location, a few steps from bar/restaurants, a few more steps to sand/chairs/umbrellas. Everything worked. Bed was fairly comfortable, one of the better beds on our Portugal Tour. We were ready to move in so thanks for the relaxing visit! Make sure you are ready for some stairs.

Pedro's place is absolutely beautiful, with a grand vista of the ocean! It's clean and convenient and we loved it!

Awesome place to both recharge and meet good people. Beautiful nature and beach nearby. Cats and dogs are the best company :) Sara was very involved, always friendly and helpful and organizing trips or gatherings. Lovely environment, great for a recharge!

Actually, so much has already been written about this great Airbnb. We agree with ALL positive reviews. If you are planning an individual holiday in the Algarve, you should book here. It was fantastic. Our life in the almost 2 weeks took place mostly outside. It is so nice to enjoy the first coffee/tea on the roof terrace in the morning or wine in the evening. Our 2nd favorite place was the courtyard with kitchen counter. We loved having breakfast here and enjoying the affogato in between. We had planned not to cook. However, it was so much fun in this well-equipped kitchen. So, there were small dishes or salads in the evening. Restaurants, the small market hall, the local grocery stores and 2 discount stores are within walking distance. We liked Silves very much. There are good opportunities to shop for beautiful things here. Many thanks to Marta + Levi for the communication + the new dishwasher

This was a great base for a holiday in Tavira. The accommodation was perfect in every way - spotlessly clean and tidy with well thought out decor. We particularly loved the well equipped kitchen. Manuel, our host was very responsive and even though we got to Tavira quite late, his Dad was there to meet and greet us. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

We had a very pleasant few days, we loved the house and the area. The attention received from Ana was 10/10.

We felt so lucky to have found this wonderful and spacious apartment with its amazing terrace (perfect for sunbathing!). The apartment itself is extremely well appointed and Mary and Roger have provided absolutely everything you could need, with plenty of cutlery, crockery and glasses (and dishwasher tabs). There were also beach towels if you needed them, a great little electric barbecue grill, loads of seating on the terrace … it seemed that anything you might want was already there, and there was loads of space for the two of us. Olhao itself is a beautiful town and perfect for wandering around. We had a fabulous week there and would definitely recommend both this apartment and town to anyone who’s looking for a not too touristy part of the Algarve to visit.

The stay at Pedro's house was excellent! He offered to let me in earlier, he was very kind to receive me and show me the place, he gave me very good recommendations! The house is fully equipped, from umbrellas, kitchen things, lots of towels, the bed is very comfortable, lots of storage space! The house is beautiful, quiet, large, and has a balcony with a very nice view. Close to everything! I traveled alone and felt very safe! Like home! I definitely recommend it!!

The place was perfect for two people. If you like beaches, the location is perfect! Very nice welcome from the host.

Silvia’s place was perfect for our family of four to enjoy our stay in Lagos! It is ideally located within a 5 minute walk to the historic town centre and had plenty of space for all of us to relax after action packed days of hiking and sightseeing. After a long day of traveling, we were overjoyed to find a refrigerator filled with delicious food! We would definitely visit again if we ever go back to Lagos!

Perfect little apartments for a couple or 3 - spotlessly clean on arrival, 2 min walk from the beach and and bars and restaurants in the village - the rooftop has a great view and is good for a glass of wine in the evening. The patio terrace in the flat is great to get out the sun / wind and dry clothes. Easy access, near walking trails to Luz or Salema - great flat.
