Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Eastern Algarve

Excellent location. Steps from beach. Loved watching surfers. Bruno made us feel right at home. Would stay again.

We stayed at Tobias' place for over a week and it met all our expectations of a stylish, elegant, well-equipped house with a magnificent terrace. The view of the sea while eating outside was fulfilling and beautiful every time. We were there with our two small children, who loved to explore the garden or run around the house. The neighboring SurfHostelw was also great, as we were able to book a yoga class there and were allowed to have a fish barbecue. Of course, the beach Praia Ingrina, 1 km away, was a highlight, as it is a sheltered bay and therefore ideal for small children. In addition, we were often just a few people on the beach. We will be happy to come back.

We had a fantastic vacation thanks to Rosa and Nuno. Both greeted us upon arrival and were very warm and absolutely helpful. They provided us with great tips on destinations and restaurants on their own. The place had everything we needed and also a great terrace for breakfast, dinner, chilling and with fantastic views of meadows and fields. The property is so large that you can walk laps of exactly one kilometer on a dirt track. Great was also the electric juicer, which we used to make fresh O-juice every day. An absolutely recommended place to stay with two totally lovely hosts.

The view itself is worth staying at this place. We loved listening to the waves as we fell asleep and loved waking up to an incredible view. Even while showering you can look out at the ocean. It was clean and has the bare minimum necessities. I think this spot on the interior has potential to be much cuter and a little better stocked, but we still loved our stay. We spent our afternoons on the deck tanning and loved how all restaurants, bars, and beach were all walking distance. This town is adorable!

Me and 2 friends had amazing 10 days at Arrifana Beach. The house is very nice and offers everything you need. Its quite, has a nice kitchen, an awesome terrace and you only need 1 min to the beach 👍🏼 Also Hugo is awesome. He is proactive, friendly and you notice that he really is interested in you having a good stay 🙌 All in all we highly recommend this house :)

This charming house is located in a huge (!) private area, so that no street noise penetrates the house. Henrique is a very relaxed and extremely likeable host. My expectations were actually exceeded on site by the exact description. There is a very spacious outdoor area and inside everything is lovingly and unconventionally furnished. I enjoyed the stay to the fullest.

We really enjoyed our stay here during our time in Faro. This is in a great location with everything close by. Lovely big apartment with everything you need to feel at home. Mauro got the cot built ready for us as we have a 4 month old baby which was kind. Our only gripe was the loud creeky floorboards when walking around upstairs but that is all. We’d definitely stay here again if we return to Faro ok the future

Elsa’s place made our honeymoon absolutely perfect. Spotless and exactly like the photos. A perfect base for exploring Faro and surrounding areas, lovely restaurants on your doorstep. Felt safe walking around the area, even late at night. Noise not an issue, just the construction that is mentioned in the ad but that didn’t bother us! The pool is perfect for cooling off on hot days! Sad to leave, thank you for an amazing holiday!

Jonathan was a great host. Super responsive and communicative. The location is close enough to all the bars and restaurants to walk in minutes but far enough to have some quiet. The outdoor terrace was great and the whole place was clean and comfortable. We made a mistake and locked the keys in the bedroom on accident and as to get them retrieved so keep them with you at all times in case the wind blows the door closed. We’d definitely stay again!

We were positively surprised by the appartment. It looked even better than ok the photos. The view was spectacular and location is ideal. Communication was also really good and Maria sent us useful recommendations. Would definitely visit again!

The most beautiful home. Central / walkable location. Very clean and spacious home. Easy check in, navigation and communication with the host. Stunning location. Peaceful and private. Within a 10 minute walk to two beautiful beaches. Ricardo left a long list of recommendations on where to eat, what to do and which spots provided traditional Portuguese experience. Overall 10/10 and highly recommend!

Host was very responsive & met us to walk us into the place. The photo for check in needed updating, it’s now at KK’s Thai Massage for a more accurate entrance area, but we rented a car and had free parking right in front (limited but got lucky!) Place was very clean and the balcony was the perfect spot for our morning coffee and resting at night. We walked to all the shops, pleasantly surprised just how much there was to do around! We ate at Terrazo Italian, incredible food! Beach was beautiful, definitely don’t suggest having a large suitcase tho for parking or elevator access :) Otherwise host was super nice, place was super clean & definitely bang for the buck for an air bnb.

We spent our vacation in this great beach apartment for the 2nd time and enjoyed Mark's hospitality. The apartment is perfect for our needs: On the one hand, this wonderful Praia da Falesia is "on the doorstep", on the other hand, you can quickly reach the west and east of Portugal by car to discover other beautiful places in the Algarve. Bars, restaurants and supermarkets are in the immediate vicinity and there is also an excellent cocktail bar with tapas to end a nice summer evening. We will be happy to come back.

Really lovely apartment. Very clean and well stocked… had everything you could need. The view from the balcony is fab, so relaxing to sit there listening to the lapping of the waves. Jose and Diogo were very nice to deal with. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for some quiet time out.

A place to book without a second thought. Very well arranged, spacious enough for 4 and a very nice quiet little terrace. The pool is next to the accommodation. Everything was very clean. André was very responsive in answering all questions. Really, don't hesitate to book. Isabelle / May 2025

Cannot say enough about this place-would recommend every time. Walkable to fantastic restaurants and shopping, view is unbeatable. The pool was an added bonus after a day of sightseeing! Easy to access hiking, ocean activities and shops to stock up on provisions. Maria and Robert were very helpful and responsive hosts. Stop looking and book!!

Hello, our experience, my girl and I, in Antonio's accommodation was unbeatable, totally exceeded our expectations, I recommend 100 percent, and she was very flexible to enjoy the Antilla area, and in quick response to any concerns, a hug and hopefully until soon

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed at many Airbnb apartments over the years and I have never experienced the professionalism, adaptability and helpfulness of our host Hélia. In addition, The apartment was absolutely beautiful with all the amenities and the extra touches of bottle of wine, water and tray of snacks are what makes this such a unique experience. I am not surprised that this apartment is always booked. Thank you

We had a fantastic week at Anita’s apartment in Praia da Rocha. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome – Anita and Antonio had left a generous guest pack including ham, cheese, wine, milk, water, biscuits and crisps, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch after our journey. The apartment itself is bright, spotless, and has spectacular views across the beach – which, pleasantly, wasn’t too busy during our stay. The location is excellent, with a great selection of bars and restaurants just a short walk away. Anita and Antonio were outstanding hosts – friendly, responsive, and clearly committed to making sure their guests have everything they need. Their detailed information pack was really helpful, and they were always quick to answer any questions we had. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this apartment – it’s a perfect base for a relaxing stay in Praia da Rocha. Thank you, Anita and Antonio, for your warm hospitality and kindness!

A huge 3 bedroom, modern, spotless apartment, with a huge balcony, very quiet at night and close to everything. Miguel was so helpful throughout the whole process, proactively telling us everything we needed to know for the check in process, even the google map location reference. My highest recommendation!
