Farmstay holiday rentals in Eastern Algarve

When we arrived our host, Manuel, was waiting for us. He welcomed us and explained our amenities and surroundings along with recommending a few restaurants in the area. Our stay was perfect, peaceful and secluded - exactly how we prefer our holidays to be. We will definitely be considering staying there again next time we’re visiting Portugal!

We had a lovely stay overall despite a very special context (general power outage) for a good part of the day and evening. Which has impacted our stay because now in the majority of homes everything is electric.. . Of course the host could not anticipate this extremely rare issue, but we felt very alone and without information. The next day they came to the news and took the necessary steps to ensure that the appropriate measures were put in place.

I really enjoyed the house, I hope to come back more often! Quiet place, very enjoyable. Super kind host. I highly recommend it!

Leslie is a lovely host. She was extremely helpful, supported us with local tips, eg with the local car rental. Her place is calm and beautiful. I loved the beaches close to the house. Just amazing!

Bernardo was an amazing host! We truly had a wonderful time at Bernardo’s place – we loved everything about it. The lighting, especially the brick-style lamps, was really unique and added a special touch. His place is also equipped with everything you need for a relaxed and hassle-free holiday. Aljezur was the perfect base for exploring the area between Aljezur, Lagos, and Sagres. The town itself also offers plenty of shopping options as well as some excellent restaurants, bakeries, and cafés. Communication with Bernardo was super easy, and he was proactive in making sure we had a pleasant stay. We can truly recommend him and his place!

We have enjoyed Casa de Asseiceira 2 very much, very clean, very comfortable and functional, well equipped; we did not miss anything. The peace and tranquility that reigns in the place invite you to rest fully. Lurdes and Emanuel are super hosts, very kind, respectful of privacy, and at the same time attentive at all times, conveying the certainty that if you needed them they would be there, although it was not necessary, since from the first moment we had everything we needed to enjoy the stay. We fired up a barbecue and used it every day, and we were able to taste the best fish from the Porto Covo municipal market at home. Thank you very much Lurdes and Emanuel for letting us enjoy your house, we left with the sadness and at the same time joy of leaving behind some unforgettable days.

We loved the peace and quiet of this cottage, the pool was gorgeous and so refreshing after a day in the sun. Oranges were amazing ! We loved having fresh juice everyday. So private and peaceful we stayed 6 nights and would stay at Ana’s place again.

A beautiful cottage in wonderful surroundings. Birdsong in the morning, otherwise silence. Nearby, there are beautiful bee-eater birds, and in the garden, we have seen hoopoes and green woodpeckers, among others. It is not far to the tranquil Luz. It has avocado trees all around. If it was possible to give 10 stars fom 5 I would do so. We directly felt at home and Willliam was the perfect host. We will definately come back.... What a beautiful place to stay. we had a lovely 3 night stay at Ruben's house. Communication with Ruben was very good and respons always prompt. The house itself is well equiped and the highlight is (for us) the fantastic pool. The rooms are big and clean.

We had a great week at this property. It was very spacious and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen and complimentary water and bottle of wine. Beaches were a short drive, and Tavira was a lovely small town. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!

I had an amazing stay at Talurdo! The area is very secluded and calming. It was so relaxing to walk around, chill in the hangmat, sweat in the sauna, look at the stars … Chris and David are the most lovely hosts. 10/10 would reccommend for a detox getaway in nature.

Talurdo Retreat is the perfect place if you are in need of peace and tranquility in beautiful zen garden oases surrounded by Algarves majestic mountains. We went horsebackriding with Chris, kayaking in Pego Escuro and hiking - always acompanied by their lovely dogs. The hosts are very kind and welcoming. I highly recommend it.

My friend and I had an amazing few days at Francisco’s. We were in need of some rest and relaxation, which was exactly what we got. The space is beautiful and has everything you could need for a chilled break. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

We wanted a place that was quiet where we could rest but still go places easily. The room was lovely and the bed mattress was very comfortable, which is important. We slept great! The outside was very unique and well decorated and also had many very comfortable places to sit to read or lay in the sun. Our host was exceptional in all the help he gave us in recommending restaurants and places of interest. He was caring and was easy to talk to. Their two dogs were very friendly and their flock was well cared for and beautiful to see. It was a relaxing and wonderful getaway for us, and we were not disappointed. :)

Mildred and Alex's house, and the surrounding grounds, is a real slice of paradise. This is a house that has been very well designed and made to live there. Everything is spotless and better than the pictures. In spring, the view of the flowers, the hills and the starry sky, is very soothing. The house is close to everything. The meeting with Mildred and Alex was a real pleasure. Their daughter Emay, so friendly and efficient, responds to requests and transmits information very quickly. Not to mention the dogs Lilly and Louis who are adorable. To date, this is one of our best Airbnb Experiences! We hope to come back again again soon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Loft. It really felt like a little piece of paradise! We loved how immersed in nature it felt & particularly enjoyed the outdoor kitchen, being able to watch the sunset every night from the terrace & being able to make our own freshly squeezed orange juice from the plentiful oranges. The daily visits from the dogs was also a joy. Jurgen & his parents were lovely hosts. Lots of places to visit nearby & great eating recommendations too. We will definitely be back!

Villa is absolutely beautiful exactly like it is in the photos highly recommended, Would definitely stay here again villa is only a few minutes from the town by car. Everything you could possibly wish for in the kitchen, right down to a third fridge in the outside barbecue area. We stayed with friends, as 2 families so eight in the villa and had plenty of room. also separate areas for all of us so it never felt like we was all on top of each other I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying here Till the next time 😎

Beautiful location, we had a great Time!

Wow! What an amazing place to stay! We couldn't believe how beautiful this place is. House, garden, pool, the view over the mountains and the quiteness where absolut fantastic. 25 minutes by car to Faro beach just by to the airport. We would definitely come back. Our little kids loved the place as well.

We were on site as a family with six adults and one toddler and felt comfortable from the first minute. The house is wonderfully decorated and offers a very quiet and pleasant atmosphere. The location is perfect for excursions by car to the numerous spectacular beaches and rocky coasts. Fernando and his family are wonderful hosts, were easily accessible at all times and helped us a lot! We would always come back!

Perfect place to slow down and enjoy! We had a family reunion and there was space for everyone to feel comfortable. Kids had a blast with animals and all the equipment available to them. We will definitely come back and will recommend to anyone planning a stay with friends or family.
