Family-friendly holiday rentals in Eastern Algarve

A really lovely villa, photos don’t really do it justice. It’s very spacious and there was plenty of room for our group, 6 adults and 3 young children. The pool and play area were very popular. Lisa and David were great hosts. They provided everything we needed and more and were very good with communication and info. Some lovely personal touches for our stay left in the villa too which were much appreciated. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this villa and hope to return again sometime.

The accommodation was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed at, the views in the morning on the rooftop where unforgettable, the host was very helpful and approachable when needing some guidance, the only concern is that we didn’t stay for longer!! Would 100% recommend

Es war eine bezaubernde Unterkunft. Sie war groß für zwei Personen und wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Having been to Tavira before I knew exactly where the house was situated. I needed accommodation for my brother and I plus our father and his companion, both mid eighties. The location was absolutely perfect being right in the centre of town and with its lovely balconies offering an outside space perfect for “people watching “ to keep the interest for the older generation. Plenty of bars, restaurants, patisserie’s and shops all a nearby level walk. The kitchen is well equipped, rooms a nice size and whilst it would be difficult for a disabled person with the internal steps it was fine for our 87 year olds. One flight up to the living area which also has a shower room and one more to the next level with two bedrooms with a shared balcony and then another to the master bedroom. Would definitely recommend and return. Many Thanks

Excellent séjour en Algarve. Tout était conforme à nos attentes, et le logement très bien situé, à proximité des restaurants et commerces. La piscine est un plus non négligeable.

Tout était parfait ! Le logement était en parfait état, très propre et à proximité du centre-ville à pied. La piscine est un vrai + ! Je recommande:)

Our stay was wonderful, the townhouse is beautiful and in a very peaceful spot, yet so close to town! The hot tub was great in the evenings. It was super clean and has beautiful Portuguese charm. The space is large and private, it is nice to park your car right at the door to bring luggage in. Communication and recommendations were good. Alojamiento al que no le faltaba un detalle. hay de todo lo que puedas necesitar. la comunicación con la anfitriona fue muy buena, atenta y resolutiva. La zona tranquilita pero con todos los servicios alrededor. Las playas próximas en coche. Aparcamiento bien (últimos d mayo). Nos sentimos como en casa.

Our stay was wonderful! After a long week of traveling it was a great place to settle down with gorgeous views and everything you need within walking distance. There were multiple options for beaches whether we wanted more quiet versus more public with food/drinks available. Grilling on the rooftop made for beautiful family dinners with a cool grill and amazing views. Laura was very helpful with showing us around, providing recommendations, and even letting us back into the home when we locked ourselves out! Easy drive (30-45 mins) to Lagos or Faro for day trips. Overall definitely recommend!

Had a great 2 night stay at Isabel’s! Perfect location within walking distance of all restaurants in Old Town and within 5 minutes of the beach. Would recommend to any couples staying in Albufeira.

Honestly, I can’t say enough about Ana on how she went above and beyond to make my weekend celebrating my birthday and bachelorette with my friends special! She went as far as to in on the surprise to ensure that I was completely blown away! The villa is spectacular and my only regret is the number of balloons we left lying around when we left (sorry Ana). The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, great convenient location with a grocery store and cafes nearby. Also wasn’t too far to get to the main strip! I highly recommend booking this gorgeous villa!

Fantastic apartment, stunning views. Apartment itself very spacious with everything you can possibly need. All appliances high quality. Balcony very private and very quiet. Paula a great host. Wir hatten vor unserem Aufenthalt ein unerwartetes, schwieriges Ereignis – umso dankbarer sind wir, dass Marco und sein Bruder so unglaublich hilfsbereit, herzlich und unterstützend waren. Die Unterkunft war wunderschön, durch den Flur etwas hellhörig, aber sauber und genau wie beschrieben, vorallem war der Meerblick unbeschreiblich schön! Doch was unseren Aufenthalt wirklich besonders gemacht hat, war die Menschlichkeit und Fürsorge unseres Gastgebers. Vielen lieben Dank, Marco! Absolute Empfehlung!

La casa de Helena es estupenda, cómoda, amplia y muy limpia. Ella siempre pendiente de nuestras necesidades y muy bien explicadas todas las condiciones. Ideal para llevar perro. Estuvimos muy a gusto en su casa. El pueblo tiene de todo y está muy cerca de la playa. Unas vacaciones fantásticas. Gracias Helena!

We had such a wonderful time at Manuel’s place. He was so welcoming and the apartment and pool were gorgeous. So peaceful and located in the heart of the algarve. We explored all along the coast and mountains from Monchique to Ria Da Formosa - which we highly recommended. Thank you!

Stunningly beautiful and private oasis! You get all the privacy you want in this gorgeous house with an amazing eco garden. The natural pool is great…no chlorine, no itch. Jan is a super nice and responsive host. We’ be back

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Le logement est très bien équipé et très bien situé face à la mer. Un parking accessible facilement. La literie est très confortable et de bonne qualité. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour sous le soleil Portugais.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Olhao. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig aber zentral gelegen, sehr geräumig mit einem sehr schönen Außenbereich. Die Kommunikation war top.

Carla’s Villa Abaton ,Estoi (pronounced”Stoi”) exceeded all expectations, very spacious ,clean ,comfortable and quiet, solid structure keeping noise in the Villa to a minimum to other rooms. Will recommend Villa to anyone who wants an authentic (Rural)area to stay in. Top stars go to Carla’s Villa

We stayed at Isabel’s villa for 9 nights, we were 4 adults and 4 kids. The villa is fantastic - much better than the pictures, well equipped with everything you need and very spacious (big rooms, lots of outdoor space, bbq and a big pool). We paid to have the pool heated which was beneficial as some days it was a bit chilly. The villa is fairly remote, we had cars but also used Ubers to get around. It’s about a 3-4 min drive to the nearest supermarket and a 5 min drive to the main town and beach. Isabel recommended some day trips and local restaurants, all of which were great. She was also flexible with check in and check out times which was super handy with the kids, and was very responsive throughout the trip when we had questions. We’d 100% recommend this villa for a family holiday and hope to return!
