The pictures do not do this property justice. Beautiful house, property and furnishings. This is an ideal location for anyone who loves nature and wants to get away from it all. The house is huge, full kitchen plenty of amenities, numerous rooms, very comfortable and spotless. The cherry on top was the host! David is extremely gracious and very accommodating. We are looking forward to returning to enjoy this property more!

The house was perfect for our family, which included a toddler and a 2 month old baby for the weekend. Unfortunately it was a rainy weekend so we couldn’t enjoy the deck and the awesome views very much. We would stay here again!

We recently returned to the Mountain Top Estate for a mini-vacation. Only a few days, but thanks to our hosts, and the beautiful house and grounds it really seemed like a full-fledged vacation! Swimming in the gorgeous pool was a highlight as well as quiet evenings taking in the scenery, and enjoying the game room. Getting to see wildlife passing through was an extra bonus. :)  Highly recommend !

My family and I had a wonderful time at Suntower—it truly did not disappoint. From the peaceful surroundings to the breathtaking views, everything was just perfect. We enjoyed watching deer and bunnies wander by, and even had a friendly cat visit us on our last night. The hot tub was the perfect way to unwind in the evenings. Our 6-year-old loved playing outside, and the home itself was spotless with very comfortable beds. Without a doubt, this was a 5-star stay for us. We’ll definitely be returning!

We've been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Bill and Linda are great hosts and the place always looks great. We had a great time riding through the state parks nearby and hope to return soon!

We were in the area for a Search and Rescue K9 training and needed some place that would accept dogs. We found this listing and we knew this was the place for us. With 130 acres our pups were able to take some great walks and play together after a day of learning. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your family home. The Barn was even nicer than photos indicated. Everything stated was there, it was very clean. The property was beautiful! Didn't get to see Tanya's dog but we did see a few deer and Alvin, Theodore and Simon the chipmunks!

Always an excellent place to stay when in Sullivan County.

Our stay was perfect! The house was very relaxing and comfortable. We felt right at home. When we visit the area again this will be our go to spot!

The family had a great time considering the damp weather. There was a lot to do with the great selection of board games and just hanging out in the back screen porch. The kids did enjoy grabbing the firewood in the woods. The location was also spot on very close to World’s End State Park.

Steven has a gorgeous property. Honestly, the pictures don't do it justice. The kitchen is more than stocked with everything you need. I would love to have a family vacation here. We love Tunkhannock and hope to return in the near future.

Our stay was perfect. The house felt SO clean when we arrived. The views were breathtaking. I sat in the gazebo almost every morning with coffee to watch the sunrise. The photos on the website don't do the house justice. The living/dining/kitchen areas are all open and the layout flows very well. It's incredibly cozy but the high ceilings give it an extra special feel. The landscaping around the house gives you tons of privacy even with the windows and shades open. Highly recommend!!!

Had a wonderful girls' weekend with friends. Heather's house is one of the best on the lake; incredible main room, 2 porches, plenty of space for everyone. Centrally located to reach the clubhouse or other houses on that same side of the lake. Definitely hope to return.

What a wonderful home! When we pulled up I was so exited to see it was just as beautiful as the pictures. The drive in was also gorgeous. We felt so at home here and I was sad to leave. We traveled with older parents so everything was a little more challenging. This house was one of the only homes I could find with a 1st floor bedroom and bathroom plus a walk in shower. 2 of our family members couldn’t make it so we only used 2 of the bedrooms but there was plenty of room for several more guests. The grounds are beautiful and my kiddo enjoyed exploring by the creek & there is nearby hiking. We got delicious ice cream down the road but did not try any of the nearby restaurants. We used the kitchen a good amount and had no problems! Our trip was to visit family in Williamsport/college graduation… this was far enough away to feel like a vacation but close enough to easily drive into town. The hosts called to check in and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend!

Bell cabin is an absolutely wonderful place to unplug and relax! Between the serene surroundings, the adorable cabin, and the access to the creek, our group had an absolutely fabulous time. I highly recommend this place for any family or friend group looking to unplug.

Jess's place was quiet, peaceful, and relaxing; just what we were looking for for our trip. It was clean and comfortable. Her son was an excellent host! My kids liked meeting the animals. Highly recommend and will visit again if we are in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at John’s place. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our 4 days of exploring the area state parks. It was the perfect place to relax after hiking all day. We enjoyed the deck for viewing the local wildlife and stargazing. John was quick to respond to our questions and very helpful. Great location to state parks, and comfortable place to stay.

We enjoyed the place although weather was cold and did not explore much outside. All amenities required for our trip was available and host was really responsive. We would like to visit again this fall.

Nicole's place is great. Easy to get into. She brought me fresh eggs and some maple syrup. Very peaceful and serene. I will definitely be staying again on my next business trip.

Thirteen of us stayed at Lake Akela Lodge for three nights and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. The expansive grounds are well maintained, and the view is breathtaking. The interior layout is clever, with two bathrooms on each floor and at least one window in every single room in the home. It was easy to gather together for conversation, meals and games, but equally as simple to spread out when a little solitude was in order. We enjoyed the comfortable mattresses, nights around the fire pit, barbecuing, kayaking, the porch swing and rocking chairs, catch and release fishing, and the peace, beauty, and serenity. Host Jessica and Cohost Jason were always kind and very responsive. This is a special property - a hidden gem of sorts - and we would definitely love to return.
