Monthly Rentals in Dungra Khasmahal

I had a lovely stay at Dolly aunty's place. The loft is located bang in the middle of town but down a cul de sac, once you take the alley to the house, the traffic noise ceases and you enter a residential area that's quiet and peaceful. All local conveniences are located at walking distance. The apartment has a private terrace that overlooks Kalimpong town and the neighbouring mountainscapes. The bedroom is spacious, well ventilated with lots of windows and natural light. The kitchen unit is separate, next to the apartment, on the terrace. You can watch the clouds pass by the mountains as you cook/eat your meals. The kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials, which in my case made long stay possible. This is a comfortable, safe, gem of a place, especially if you're a solo female traveler looking for long term rental. Dolly aunty is very easy to communicate, relatable and considerate, she always checked on me if I was ok and if I needed anything. Will definately revisit again.

We stayed three nights at Pali Ghar and had a really wonderful time. The rooms are very spacious and peaceful. The property is very beautiful with great views and some lovely walks to nearby temples. Kabir and Ahana are really kind hosts, they gave us lots of good tips and recommendations. Big shout out to Sanjay too, the quality of the cooking is very high, every meal was a treat and we even got to make Momo with him and Ahana. Everyone was very generous with their time and knowledge and we had a really enjoyable and relaxing stay. Highly recommend! Thank you!

Avikesh missed posting the main views photos, the mountain, valley and river views were so awesome and serene! The location is very calm and peaceful, we had a very nice sleep all the nights we stayed there. The apartment was very specious. The beds, rooms and bathrooms were super clean. Nice restaurants for all preferences were nearby, including the south Indian Malabar. The market was at walkable distance and all essentials were available. Avikesh and Joseph were great hosts, they helped us arranging local sight seeing with a good driver and vehicle at a very reasonable rate. Internet speed and stability was very good.

We had a wonderful time at Dr. Udai’s homestay - exactly what we were looking for. The place is beautifully maintained, with artistic touches and a lovely garden that we loved exploring. His dogs were a big hit, especially Coco - playful, gentle, and a constant companion for the kids! Udai and his family (and support staff) were incredibly warm and helpful throughout. He also arranged reliable cars and drivers for local travel. The food was homely and comforting. Though we missed clear views of the mountains due to weather, we truly didn’t feel like we missed anything - the experience made up for it. We captured some great memories here and would highly recommend it, especially for families. Just a tip - ask Udai to arrange your pickup and drop, as finding the place on your own can be tricky. All in all, a 5-star experience!
