Monthly Rentals in Dungeness

The cabin was perfect for the couple of day's rest and recuperation that my partner and I needed. It is in a very quiet area with a lovely serene outlook. The weather was changeable but we were able to both sit out happily or cosy up indoors if necessary. The cabin was always warm without any need to use the heating. It was also spotless with a lovely hot rainfall shower. We didn't cook as there were lovely options to eat out locally, but the kitchen was well equipped if we'd wanted to. The absence of a TV was as liberating as we'd hoped and meant plenty of time for reading, games, time together and wildlife spotting. The appearance of the very tame local foxes at sundown was a real treat. We had a fantastic reset of our minds and bodies and were sad to leave but happy we'd chosen to stay.

The Old Log Cabin balances style and comfort. It's personal, but not cluttered, and has a surprising amount of space. Best is its location, in the frontline, looking across the shingle to the shore, with a hardy garden, and a perfect indoor/outdoor living area that makes you feel you are part of the wild while still providing shelter from the harsh Dungeness elements. You feel part of the quirky Dungeness world of humans and industry when you look back, but alone in the landscape when you look forward. It's a perfect balance. And Adam is a great host, communicative and friendly.

A great building and location, blessed with panoramic views at every angle, this house really is special. Dungeness really is beautiful and this place is the perfect spot to enjoy the beauty. Thank you 🙏

My partner and I have had a wonderful stay in Stuart's place, despite the bad weather- in fact we rather liked the stormy evenings in the cosy apartment, added to the atmosphere of Dungeness. Stuart was really easy to contact about our check in/check out, and we loved arriving in the place just before sundown, with the Pilot pub a 3 min walk for our evening meal. Everything you want to see in Dungeness is right on your doorstep- we don't drive so it was ideal to cab it from Rye and then have the pubs, the shingles, the seafood shack and Prospect Cottage all within walking distance. It was a really comfy cosy stay so thank you, and we hope to be back!
