House holiday rentals in Dukes County

Erin’s home is awesome! We rented it for our daughter’s and their families - 4 adults, 4 children shared the home for the week. The house was SPOTLESS at check in, and so well appointed, from kids toys, kitchen staples, beach chairs, beach towels, bicycles, a fabulous outdoor dining patio with large table/chairs/umbrella, quality bed linens, towels, etc. and rooms full of nice, comfortable furnishings. The neighborhood is fabulous, especially for families who want to enjoy the pool (which is awesome!)/playground/small beach area. It was quiet and relaxing and very walkable and there are also several larger Falmouth beaches you can drive to within a few minutes. Downtown is about a 5 minute drive to shops, restaurants and grocery stores. All in all, it’s a great house in a really great location!

We found ourselves needing last minute accommodations, and Bruce’s place proved to be the perfect fit. With a full set of four rooms and a pool, it catered to all our needs and exceeded expectations. The pool was a significant highlight, enabling me to fulfill my polar plunges; while the House offered rest of the group ample space to unwind and relax. Notably one of us found the massive bean bag especially comfortable, often waking up there. The House itself boats multiple amenities that made our stay comfortable Though the pool area could use a bit of sprucing up; it never hindered my enjoyment of the cool water Location wise, the house is a brief 15 minute walk to Vineyard Haven; However for future visits a car is necessary as Taxis are beyond expensive and Ubers are almost non existent. All in all, it was a fantastic place to spend the weekend; and our host Bruce was kind and responsive to our every need. We look forward to give the Vineyard another visit; Hopefully back at Bruce’s

Our family stayed at Madi's place for our summer vacation. Madi was very responsive and communicative prior to our stay with local recommendations and instructions for the home and beach passes. Our family of 5 was comfortable and we had a wonderful time on MV. Would definitely return to Madi's place.

Exactly what we hoped for: Quiet, peaceful, friendly neighbors, and close to the restaurants in Edgartown. The pool was perfect for late afternoons/early evenings with the kids after long days at the beaches. Our hosts were very quick to respond to any messages or questions we sent. We loved our week here and look forward to coming back next year.

We had such a fantastic stay at Sue’s beautiful Edgartown home! The house was charming, spotless, and well-stocked with everything we needed—from kids’ toys and extra keys to cozy spaces for the whole family. Even with some chilly weather, we made great memories thanks to Sue’s warmth and hospitality. One huge highlight was the car rental—what a convenient bonus! It was clean, reliable, and made exploring the island a breeze. Sue was responsive and thoughtful throughout our stay, checking in with helpful suggestions and going above and beyond. She truly made us feel at home. From shell picking at Felix Neck to relaxing in the playroom and enjoying everything the Vineyard has to offer, our family had a wonderful time. We’re already talking about our next trip back—and hoping Sue’s hot tub addition is ready by then! Highly recommend!

Lovely location and very clean. Good spot to travel qround island. Lambert Cove was beautiful at sunset. If you have a bad back you might want to bring a mattress pad.

We have been going to this area for decades and decided to rent vs other options this year. Place very comfortable, easy access (bad leg) with deck ramp key. Water pressure fab as family actually commented. Would look to do again! Excellent…

Rachel’s house was great, and had everything anyone would need… Beds were comfortable, water pressure in showers was perfect. Most importantly, Rachel was so lovely to deal with… She was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!!!

We were here for a wedding and the house was perfect for our group. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the location was ideal for our purpose. Samantha was always quick to answer all of our questions - she's a great host!

House was impeccably clean, with bathrooms and kitchen welcoming. The kitchen had everything one could need to cook and comfortably prepare meals. Overall, an excellent house - strongly recommended!

We traveled with 4 couples who have know each other since HS, 40 years ago. It was a great home to relax and catch up. The house is lovely and we loved that we each had our full bath! I highly recommend this home and this location.

The cottage was everything we were hoping for and more. We love the “up island” experience so much. We are in full group discussion of booking it again sooner than later.

This is a lovely old family home that has been updated with all the modern kitchen and bathroom conveniences you need. Very cute cottage feel, lovingly maintained and updated just enough over the years. Our group included three couples with kids, and the many rooms were perfect for us. One note is that the full bed described is a bit more of a daybed so kind of small, but still cozy. Great house for a family with kids. Really pretty landscaping too and a lovely back deck. Would stay again!

Great stay, perfect for 2 people, wonderful alternative to a hotel so that we could each have our own bedrooms and great value. Matched description. Took us a minute to spot the driveway as house is tucked back from road, but super cute. You’ll want a car to be able to fully explore island easily.

Rodrigo‘s place was excellent. It is spacious and clean and has everything that you would need for a Vineyard visit. You are in someone’s backyard but it is still very quiet - except for the roosters - but even that was more charming than irritating. I would absolutely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our time at this home. The kids loved the finished basement and we had plenty of common space for two families or 4 and 5. Carrington was responsive to our needs and communicated well. The house was located close to Oak Bluffs and I enjoyed easy access to beautiful running routes by the ocean.

This house was amazing! Beautiful and very clean! Megan had timely responses to messages and was clear in her instructions regarding the check in process. The beds were comfortable. The outdoor shower was maybe our favorite part of the trip, all the ladies enjoyed being outside and also the coolness of the inside of the house. There was tons of room. The overall aesthetic of the house was a calm, beachy vibe and made you feel like you were right beside the water. I wish we had played horseshoes in the back yard! If we need a place to stay in the future for a group trip with the ladies I would try to book here if it was available!

Staying at Rebecca’s Hideaway was a wonderful experience! I stayed with the family during the Thanksgiving holiday during the offseason and the location was absolutely beautiful. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and even left us treats at the house! The location of the house was private, but a close enough drive into downtown Edgartown to get drinks and dinner or do some shopping. There are many options to relax outdoors and it’s a close walk to get to South Beach to enjoy nature. I would definitely recommend staying here and would rebook in a heart beat!

We stayed over the long weekend at this beautiful property. It’s located centrally close to all the major attractions and beaches. The property had beautiful features and felt very comfortable. The home itself had a lot of charm and had a positive energy. Hosts were very kind and nice to communicate with. They left us wonderful treats and fresh eggs from their beautiful garden. Overall it was a great stay at their property. Highly recommended and we will be staying there again. I will highly recommend getting a car to travel in the island so you can go to Edgartown or other places.

All I can really say is… wow!! From the moment we arrived, Liza was incredibly communicative, accommodating, and welcoming. And upon arrival, we recognized how truly special her home is; with so much character and charm! It’s very private and felt incredibly safe. The home seems nestled into Martha's Vineyard itself and the back led out to a private green space, dock, and beach with blooming bushes next to the path. This was such a rare find. It was so magical, we spent an afternoon painting watercolors of the view of the boats on the water that you can see from the living room. With six girls staying for a bachelorette weekend, we had an abundance of room. It is more spacious than the photos capture. Situated in a prime location near Edgartown. And every piece of decor, plate, bowl, cup felt vintage, special, unique. This place has authentic charm. Bottom line: Our stay was incredible. We all can’t wait to come back again!

We stayed here for a girls weekend and had a great time. The house and amenities were just as advertised, and the porch and backyard were the perfect spot to spend time together. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Andrew was a fantastic host - friendly, responsive, professional, and he provided a great guide of local recs and house instructions. The location was great for exploring Woods Hole and Falmouth by car. I would recommend!

Excellent location halfway between the beach and main street! Plenty of space and beds to accommodate our whole family, and a big backyard to play in. Sarah and Christin were super responsive to all of our questions and sent us local recommendations for restaurants and farmers markets. Would definitely stay here again!
